Oh no, it's been decided a while back.
Never again shall I register as Neyro.

I used to use stickmanbob as my username for everything, and then i started having trouble registering on some site because it was too long, or it was already taken, so I decided to start using my real life nickname. On Kongregate though, I typed my username wrong when I signed up so now I have to log in as BTowna, instead of BTowns.

I think that anyone who is coming up with a username for the first time SHOULD search google for their possible username ideas and pick the one that either doesn't come up on google or comes up the least amount of time. You don't want to use a username that thousands of others are using.

I f***ing hate having DM as a username.

Which is why I'm trying to change it too "Aioli" or "Aiolidragon".

It's going well so far.

Well, it started when I was gonna go to my first convention.

I had went onto the conventions IRC using the name "Aoidragon" which is silly wannabe japanese for "Bluedragon". Someone misread it as "Aiolidragon" and hilarity ensued, I then switched my name to it for s***s and giggles.

And then it was my new name at conventions.

And since then it got stuck.

I am the only septembern user that I know of... when I type "septembern" into google most of the stuff is about me like Vizzed Board...

I think thats crucial when picking a username, to make sure that it's not common, fit's you, and is original. Could be a hard task to some, a username may be something you have to live with for awhile depending on the circumstances.

I will probably always try for hypermonkey, or something similar, unless I'm not planning to visit that website again, ie: trying to watch a movie online, and you have to be a member to do so, I'll just make up something totally random. It fits me very well, I always have lots of energy and I'll climb almost anything.

It seemed like a good idea at the time, but now it's just a pain. But I doubt that I would have been able to get hypermonkey anyway, simply because there were so many people already signed up.

I first started as cryo. at a chat site when I was 15. or 16. Z.com Long since dead. After a while I changed it to Cyro Star. It was fine for a little bit but sound a little kiddish after a while. That's when I changed it to what I have now- Cyro Xero. I've had that that name for around 10 years and use it for everything internet.
It always has a space between the two word or is connected as on. I've never had an underscore to seperate them and don't really like to use one. So at certain place or things like my PSN name you'll see me as "CyroXero". Sometimes people mispronounce it online. I've been in games like Resistance and Call of Duty and heard people pronounce it as "Cyro 'X' ero". I can understand that since "X" is sometimes used as a stand alone letter or symbol, and certain people who are used to seeing nothing but 1337 speak will look at my name that way.

My name is completely unique. Haven't found anything on it except message boards I've been to. Other names I have on PSN that I rarely use except for fun and purchasing content from the PS store- "Caesium" (Periodic Table) and "The_Chauffeur" (my own spin on the Transporter movies). I do want to own names when the next gen PS console is released, just for fun. Names like "Player_1" or "Praesiodymium" would be cool to have.

As for message boards, for the longest time I had the idea to create an account under the name "Billboard". I wanted to create a layout to go perfectly with it- having a text box in the form of a large roadside billboard and slap on all kinds of random ads to decorate the rest of the layout. The typical things you see on the internet such as debt relief, those flashing Viagra/Cialis ads, online universities, job ads, depression pills. The best part of it is I would have them link to whatever it is that's showing.

Pretty big story on how you can to be the name Cyro Xero. It's actually pretty interesting. I also like the other username ideas you had like Billboard and use billboard layouts with real ads in them. It's pretty innovative!
