I'm a huge fan of puzzle games, games like Bust-A-Move Universe, Magical Drop III, Puyo Pop Fever, and of course, this game, just to name a few, belong in what might be one of my favorite video game genres, and this game is another great puzzle game. ACA Neogeo: Money Puzzle Exchanger, which... I'm going to call Money Puzzle Exchanger, is my first game in the ACA Neogeo series, ACA probably stands for Arcade Archives. I've never bought one of these games before, but these games are always re-releases of Neogeo games, Money Puzzle Exchanger is also available for Playstaion 4 and Xbox One. I know that this review might appear different from my last reviews, but, in a way... not really? Money Puzzle Exchanger is rated T by the ESRB and in Europe it's rated PEGI 12, somehow, the minimal amount of fanservice is enough to give the game those age ratings, does this game deserve those age ratings? I don't know, it's true that there are 3 female characters with suggestive designs, but that said, it's only 3 female characters I think, and the character designs aren't that bad, even Magical Drop III has character desgins that are more suggestive (Death and World, for example), at times, even games rated E10+ can be more suggestive in terms of character desings or how much skin is shown (Pangya Fantasy Golf? Anyone?). Anyway... let's begin.

Story: This game doesn't have a story, at least, you can't find some kind of story in the game itself. There are references to a secret organization in the electronic manual, and Sakura Mitsukoshi, for example, the girl who transforms into Exchanger, the warrior of the currency exchange (or something)... but... those things don't matter, considering that they aren't mentioned in the game itself as far as I know, even Otomedius Excellent has more story than this game...

Graphics: Ok, it's difficult to grade this part for this specific review, Vizzed clearly says that ''Ratings should be based on what the game's system is capable of'', but if that's the case, then, should I give this category a very low number? I don't know, I could also give this category a high number because... honestly, the game is dated when it comes to graphics obviously, but at the same time, you can still enjoy these 2D graphics, the pixel art of Money Puzzle Exchanger is very appealing to this day. So, I don't know if I should give this category a low number or a high number, it obviously looks like an old game and for a Nintendo Switch game, it's obviously dated, but at the same time, these anime-style graphics still look really nice... do you remember the IGN reviews of Mega Man 9 and 10? How Mega Man 9 got only a 3 in the category of the graphics while at the same time Mega Man 10 got an 8 in the same category? Well... it's something like that, any number could be fitting, more or less, because of that... I'll leave this category as a blank space for now... does this game have horrible graphics or amazing graphics? That's up to you.

Sound: I'm willing to grade this category, at least. Money Puzzle Exchanger has a good soundtrack, 2 tunes sounds like something taken from a Sega Genesis/Mega Drive game, which is something I like, the rest of the songs are enjoyable to listen to and the soundtrack can be catchy and cheerful. There is minimal voice acting in the game, which is a nice touch. Overall, I'd say that the possible composers Kennosuke Suemura and Norihiko Togashi did a good job with the music, the soundtrack is fitting for the game and every song is enjoyable to listen to, the music is good at times. It might not be my favorite soundtrack in a puzzle game, but still, I like it.

Addictive: Being a puzzle game, Money Puzzle Exchanger is very, very addictive, it's at least an 8 in that category in my opinion. The gameplay is similar to the Magical Drop series but with more depth and numbers, yes, you read well, numbers, in Money Puzzle Exchanger, you are constanly working with coins that must be combined to earn points and, in the case of the modes where two characters fight in a duel (it wouldn't be a puzzle game without those modes), attack your opponent. There are coins with numbers, 1, 5, 10, 50, 100 and 500, you have to combine most coins in order to create another coin that can also be used, 5 coins with the number ''1'' create a coin with the number ''5'', 2 coins with the number ''5'' create a coin with the number ''10'' and so on. Of course, you have the usual mechanics of chains or combos, you need to use chains or combos if you want to survive or win a battle. I don't like mathematics (or math if you prefer), but even so, I really like Money Puzzle Exchanger, even though I'm constantly thinking about the minimum amount of coins needed to create another coin, the game is very enjoyable to play.

Depth: For what it is, the game offers some content, it might not be on par with Magical Drop III when it comes to content or modes of play, but it's something, also, this is the ACA Neogeo version of the game, which means that you have access to more content and modes than you would otherwise have, if we only consider the base game, yes, even Magical Drop III on Wii has more content, I have the virtual console version of Magical Drop III, and yes, I bought that version before it disappeared, however, if this version of Money Puzzle Exchanger has these modes and content, then, I can only assume that the ACA Neogeo version of Magical Drop III has even more content and modes than the Wii version... I thought about giving this category a 5 or 6, but in the end, I gave this category a 7, the different modes and options to customize the game, are a nice touch, even if they are directly related to the type of release, not so much the game itself, for example, did you know that this version has online leaderboards...?

Difficulty: Depending on the difficulty level, this game can be very hard, at least a 9 at high levels of difficulty. The ''VS COM'' mode can be very difficult and... if you can survive in the ''SOLO PLAY'' mode for more than 5 minutes, you are very good at this game. Did you know that what's written on the bottom middle of the screen (''Level -4'') is directly related to the difficulty level? Yes, in one way or another, that's the difficulty level, and you can change it, if the difficulty level is ''2'', it will be written ''Level -2'' on the screen, for example.

I definitely recommend Money Puzzle Exchanger even if you aren't a puzzle game fan, the game is very fun and the high difficulty, depending on the difficulty level, more or less, is something I really like, if you want to play a fun puzzle game or if you want to challenge yourself, I can easily recommend this game, the game has a price tag of $7.99, £6.29 and less than $160 pesos for mexicans like me, with those price tags, the game is worth playing, I have no doubts about that. I promise that my next review will be of a much more suggestive game...
