I absolutely adore this game. Does anyone else like it? I think it is a clever blend of rpg, action, and shooter. One of my favorte ps2 games. Unfortunately I cant get through the level where you have to hunt down and kill all the snipers...its driving me NUTS. Graphics are nice and the three different guns are awesome. Vincent's packin' some major pieces now. xD

As much as I love Vincent I thought this game was terrible. I only played it all the way through because I was extremely bored at the time. What I really hated were the Cait Sith levels.

It was a pretty cool game, it was different from the rest of the FF games which is parta the reason I liked it, was one of my fav's also....8/10 stars ********

Wow, I've heard nothing but bad things about this game until I came here. I thought it was alright, but I beat it pretty quick, only 10 hours or something till I finished the game. I felt like the controls were a little clunky at times, the camera could get pretty annoying, and the hard mode you can play after clearing the game was just too hard. It was different though, and the deeper insight into the FF7 game and Vincent's character made it somewhat enjoyable.

i've palyed it a couple of times and it is a ok game to have if you want to find out what Vincent Valentine was meant to do in his life and how he came to what he is. But the problem I have with it was that people gave it such a low rating which it didn't really deserve.

I think it's a game that's only interesting the first time you play through it. You play through it again and again because you want to find all of the memory capsules, g-reports, and get the ultima weapon, but really when I skipped all of the cut scenes, it's the shorest game I've ever played. I liked the cut scenes because I was interested in hearing about Vincent's past, but they're only interesting the first time. I did hate how much of a drama queen Lucrecia was though. The villians were okay but the only one that had a personality was Shelke and she joins you. I thought them bringing Hojo back was overkill. They didn't need to have Hojo take over Weiss's body. Hojo was only in Weiss's body for two battles so he didn't do much. I know I'm being critical but I did like the game I'm just pointing out the obvious flaws. I give it a 5 out of 10.
