Superdimension Neptune VS Sega Hard Girls was the last Neptunia game released for PS Vita in America, Europe, and maybe Australia, the rest of the world didn't get a free-to-play game based on several Idea Factory and/or Compile Heart IPs or something like that, I'm talking about Nep-Nep Connect: Chaos Chanpuru, in any case, the game can't be played anymore, the service has ended...what a shame, considering that the game didn't last long. Anyway, it goes without saying that this game contains fan service, even if it's not on the same level as other games of the franchise. Let's begin.

Story: Superdimension Neptune VS Sega Hard Girls has a story that deals with time travel, IF gets to a famous library full of history books, but not before saving a mysterious girl who suffers from amnesia, Segami/Hatsumi Sega, when IF is in the library, the history suddenly disappears, and when IF goes to investigate, she disappears for a few days, during those days, the owner of the library, Histoire, did a few modifications to IF's motorcycle, and now IF, along with Segami, can use the motorcycle to travel through time, only to the past in the case of this game. Despite being another game that deals with time travel, the story is pretty well written, at times, I'd say that this is a funnier game than other games of the franchise, and considering that we are talking about the Hyperdimension Neptunia franchise here, that's saying something. The events can be very, very funny, mainly because of the dialogue said by Neptune, she can be funnier in this game than in the other games, also, because this is a crossover between the Hyperdimension Neptunia franchise and the Sega Hard Girls, there are many references to Sega and its history that I love, if you really know about video games and are a fan of Sega, chances are, you are going to have a great time with this game and its characters...and to think that I was born in 1997...still, I understand many nods and references.

Graphics: Despite being the last ''normal'' Neptunia game released for PS Vita, the grahics are on par with the previous games, which means that even for PS Vita standards the graphics aren't that good, Tsunako's art is beautiful as always, and her designs of the Sega Hard Girls look amazing, the game also has more CG images than other Neptunia spin-offs, which is great. It's obvious that the 3D graphics are the worst part of the game, there are games for Wii that look better than this, at least the cinematic cutscene used in the beginning looks great, it looks better than the actual graphics in the game...

Sound: Like other Neptunia games, there is a lot of recycled music, and this isn't even a Neptunia game developed by Compile Heart or Tamsoft! Superdimension Neptune VS Sega Hard Girls was mostly developed by Felistella, at least. The recycled music sounds great, and the original music is amazing at times, ''Going Down'' is an awesome normal boss theme, ''The Final Dance'' is a good and intimidating final boss theme that I've compared with ''Time Eater (Modern)'' from Sonic Generations, and ''Memory In A Buffer'' is a relaxing boss theme, which makes it stand out. The main reason why I'm giving this category a 10 is because of the phenomenal theme ''Neptune's Platoon VS SEGA Hard Girls Suite'', that music is fantastic and it's one of my favorite themes in the game, it doesn't matter how much I listen to that music, I can't get tired of it. It's a fantastic violin theme and it's more than enough reason to give this category a 10, of course, the voice acting is also an important part of the game, and it's great. Part of the cast is what one would expect of the franchise, but the inclusion of the Sega Hard Girls meant that new voice actresses were needed for the franchise, and they got great talent for this game, Segami/Hatsumi Sega is voiced by Cassandra Lee Morris, and Mega Drive is voiced by Faye Mata, for example. Mega Drive's lines are...too quiet at times, but other than that, Faye Mata did a great job for the most part.

Addictive: It's interesting that I've reviewed some Neptunia games already, but this is the first time I review a turn-based RPG of the franchise...it's true that Superdimension Neptune VS Sega Hard Girls is one of my least favorite Neptunia games and that I'd rather play the Neptunia games with combat in real time, but even so, I can't deny that this game is interesting and that it has its merits. Like in most Neptunia games with turn-based combat, you have to move each character around a small field, you have to get close to the enemies in order to attack in the case of normal attacks, using normal attacks recovers a very small amount of SP, of course, you can also use a variety of items to recover HP and SP for example. In this game, there is a gauge called ''Fever Gauge'', ''the fever gauge will fill by using normal attacks, Charge Attacks, or skills that successfully hit an enemy.'' When the fever gauge is at max, a star called Rainbow Gem will appear above the battlefield, you can press the circle button to jump while you move around the battlefield to collect floating items including the previously mentioned Rainbow Gem, collecting it will activate Fever Time, Fever Time causes 3 effects: All party members' stats will increase by 10%, EXE Drives (powerful attacks) can be used, and the enemy will not a get a turn. The enemy won't be able to attack until the Fever Gauge depletes completely, during Fever Time, every action depletes the Fever Gauge, normal attacks, using items, even just moving around the battlefield depletes the Fever Gauge, and if you don't move but instead use the command ''Defend'', well...that also depletes the Fever Gauge during Fever Time. Outside of battle, the 3D maps have items to collect and blocks to hit, the blocks have hidden items, and it's fun to hit them with your head, IF and Segami can't say that they use their fist unlike Mario, the controls are functional and work as they should for the most part, although it's true that a few platforming sections can be frustrating, still, it's a fun game.

Depth: You can get the 3 different endings in 60 hours or less, if you really want to get everything, the experience lasts a while, even so, Superdimension Neptune is a shorter game than other RPGs, if you play it for 70 hours, you should already have almost every trophy, at least.

Difficulty: I've lost a few times in this game, it must be said however that the most difficult parts of Superdimension Neptune vs Sega Hard Girls are the final boss, if you want to get the bad ending, that is, an optional boss, and maybe the fight against Iris Heart, the rest of the game is easy.

I can recommend this game if you are looking for a funny RPG or are a fan of turn-based RPGs, if you are a fan of the Hyperdimension Neptunia franchise and still don't have this game, I can easily recommend it, everyone else should probably get this game cheap or buy another game. This might not be my favorite game in the franchise, but even so, I like it.
