Welcome to my review of Youtuber's life.. I would say I hope you enjoy it but if it's anything like the game... this review is gonna be pretty awful

Youtubers life is a game about becoming a popular youtuber. You slowly work your way from your mum's house to your own luxury abode. You can make friends or enemies on the way, make collaborations with other people and even get a significant other... Truly this game personifies what it's like to become a famous youtuber... well unless you have any sense of how the real world works at least. 

Graphics
The graphics in this game are Okay, they are by no means good but not awful enough that you don't know what you are looking at... It does however look like a game that could have easily been made on a PlayStation 2. They went for this cartoonish art style that reminds me a little bit of how maple story/ portal knights looks. It's basically the generic way most cartoonish games with character creation in it look.. If that description helps at all. It's not hideous but its not good either... it's a big bag of meh... 

Sound
The sound for me was just super boring, so much that about an hour into the game I just played the game on mute and actually listened to my own music, There was nothing that made me wanted to listen to any of the sound aspects at all. In fact they pretty much irritated me constantly. To give it credit I suppose, you literally need no sound to be able to play this game either.. As issues appear in thought bubbles like in Sims games. The sound is just forgettable at best

Addictiveness
This game is not addictive at all. It's a cash grab for people that like decent games like game Dev tycoon or similar management type games. The game has 3 routes to go down. Musician, Gamer and Chef. The only difference between them that I found is the things you use, e.G A gamer buys consoles and games. But the Musician buys you guessed it... Instruments and songs!...  Also if you do find yourself enjoying this game, the sheer amount of game breaking bugs is sure to make sure that you don't for long... I've had my whole character level development randomly reset to level 1 and it was stuck there permanently. I've cleared progression missions and then the game wouldn't let me progress because I hadn't done the task, even though I had so I was unable to progress any further in that game. This game has no quality at all. 

Story
The story is that you go from your mums house to a youtube megastar. That is the story. They're are missions that I guess can count as part of a story, like hitting a certain amount of subscribers.. Or buying a new phone so you can use twitter... woo!, If you want a game with a story more enjoyable than this.. You could probably do a blind grab into a games bargain bin and your likely to randomly grab a game with a better story hands down. 

Depth
Does this game take a long time to beat. Yes. Is it in any shape or form enjoyable... No. All you do is the same mundane things and slowly build your views and subs up. Sometimes people will request you do things and you can either accept or decline to do so.. If you do it you'll get a nice bonus of money. If you fail.. They get angry at you and may not ask you to do something again.. See the game is easily a very long game to beat, but there is no way to enjoy it at all. I've platinumed Fallout Shelter.. Which to any unaware is a mobile phone game that was ported to the ps4.. And at least that had some fun elements to it.. This game does not.. It has an editing mini game that is passable.. But that's about it. 

Difficulty
This is a very difficult game to beat. For two simple reasons. It's boring as hell, and it's buggy as hell. If you have any hope of beating this game,and keep in mind there are 3 roles that have slightly different stories. You will need to keep a rather large rolling save going on. Because bugs happen in this game frequently. Not just simple bugs either, literally game breaking bugs. Just to clarify this game isn't hard to play.. It's just hard to keep playing at all.

Final Thoughts
Just don't buy this game. I wouldn't even give this game to an enemy honestly. If I could think of a suitable metaphor it'd be amongst the lines of for every minute you play the game you have to give your hands a paper cut. And then every 5 minutes put your hands in lemon juice or vinegar.. It's just not fun and the only thing you'll get from this game is pain. Also just to clarify this game isn't so bad it's good.. It's just awful.. Unfunny and broken. 

I feel like you are being a little harsh on the game, but I totally get where you are coming from.

The game was not that addictive, as you said. However, I don't think you should knock it for the art style. Yeah, perhaps they are trying to draw off of Game Dev Tycoon ( a game I feel doesn't really have replay-ability, but that's just me ) .

I think the story could use a little more work as well, however, there is only so much you can do with this idea.
I didn't like feeling like I had to go to the events when I was playing it awhile back, but it's part of the game.
I thought the sound was fine for what it was, and the depth... again, only so much you can do with the premise of the game.

Nice review, though. I probably would have listened to this if I hadn't of already bought the game awhile back.

thing1 : What platform did you buy it on may I ask?

The ps4 version uses a previous build to the pc one, one that has tons of bugs... that make it unplayable. 

As for the graphics I didn't say they were awful just that they are basic. The game could be recreated on a ps2 because there's not lots of detail in it at all. E.G game Dev tycoon could probably be made on a ps1, does that make the graphics bad.. No. Youtubers life graphics are just boring and generic. 

Also it's silly to rate this game any better because it "can;t do anymore"... well it could have.. basic Quality assurance would have made the game better.. actually releasing a product that wasn't a buggy nightmare would have been better... etc If the company can't even care to put out a working game.. what does it speak of it's actual development. This release on the ps4 was a cash grab simply put. 

Sonicmcmuffin : I have it on PC. I never really had any issues with bugs myself. I have 2 hours in it, but it's probably closer to 3, as I made it to the 3rd stage or so.
