I'm going to revisit this. Southeast Michigan just had some nasty wind storms comes blowing through. Gusts up to 50 miles an hour were sustained throughout the day yesterday. I was at work and I thought we were going to have our concrete bunker-style building get knocked over.

Unfortunately, lines all over the place did get knocked over and there are not 500,000+ homes and businesses without power. My building is one of them. So I'm at home, I get to play with my kids, and I have no idea when we will resume operations. It's both good and bad because I'm salaried so I get paid no matter what. But it means I don't get to do anything.

The high winds were interesting to deal with. I saw a tree get ripped out of the ground on the front yard of a house near my own place and it crushed the car in the driveway. Luckily I don't have tall trees near me and my house is okay.

Yesterday reminded me that no matter what humankind builds, nature can just as easily wipe out.

Well, unlike the past week, it's been consistently warmer... now I don't want it to heat up to much, June will be BRUTAL!

I can't complain about weather here. At least one thing I can say is just great. It is 84 degrees Fahrenheit, 46% humidity, and 3MPH winds. It is a nice day for the beach or in my case be stuck inside an office until 5pm. I like when it gets windier then, it is just right. Last night felt really hot, thank goodness my a/c is not being a douchebag and kept me cold.

Lexatom :   I live in Austin, Texas.  So far it can't make up it's mind at all and getting pretty annoying.  One day it is upper thirties to low forties in the morning and jumps to a humid sixty or seventy in the afternoon/evening, and the next day it rains a little and stays in the sixties all day.  Then it jumps back down to low forties in the morning and in the afternoon it is in the eighties again and humid.  I want it to snow here so bad.  I miss the Michigan weather sometimes...

It's forecast to snow this weekend. In March. In Tennessee. That's really weird. Our chances for snow usually end around beginning of March, but it's the middle of March...

It's cold! :3 I love cold weather, and it came out of nowhere. Seriously, it was in the mid-70's one day, and the very next day it was in the lower 40's. Hopefully it stays this way for a while, but it probably won't. By the end of the week it'll probably be in the 70's again. :/

Oh also it's sunny. Bleh. Gimme rain!

Wow, what a snowfall! We almost reached a record over here, and the winter snow warning is still in effect for the rest of the day. "Hazardous winds" exceeding 100km/h and up to 30cm more of snow. It's a pretty pleasant surprise for me personally, especially with the mild weather that's accompanying it, -6 degrees celsius. Lots of shoveling. I would not have wanted to be outside yesterday night though, there was zero visibility at one point.

It was still slightly on the chilly side last night and early this morning, but it quickly warmed up to almost 80 degrees by the mid-afternoon. It was still cooler in the house than outside despite not having any air conditioning running from last night's trapped air.

The weather here is pretty inconsistent. It was snowing a few days ago, and has been pretty mild to hot sense then. Right now it's very cloudy and windy, but not as cloudy or windy as it used to be a few days ago. Just a week ago, I almost got knocked down by the wind when I was checking the mail, and the wind even shut the door in my face. It was pretty hardcore.

I think the most inconsistent aspect of our weather is how it can go from freezing to hot weather. A few years ago, we had a blizzard that was so intense that it knocked out power for a good chunk of the state, knocked down trees and left my neighborhood in icy ruins (exaggerating a tad bit). The very next day? It was sunny as can be, we were even barbecuing.

Eirinn : Eh... it's not that weird. I've been thinking about doing the same thing for a while, but for snow as opposed to rain.

It's actually been very nice here. If I had to guess, I'd say that the temp was hovering somewhere around the 75 degree mark with a light breeze and mostly sunny. I think the only thing that could've made it better would've been more cloud cover.

It's been rather hectic recently, we've been having a lot of storms. I suppose the april showers came early this year.

I guess that just means the flowers will bloom early this year

I'm not really that big of a fan of the weather right now, it started getting just a little bit too hot for my liking. I just hate it. At least it's very cloudy, so that helped a bit from what it could have been.

m0ssb3rg935 : I've thought of that too. I'd definitely pick somewhere known for snow or rain if given a choice. But alas, I'm stuck here. The one benefit of a rainy place over a snowy one is that I'd get rain most of the year, whereas a snowy place only gets said weather between three and six months.

It's back to the warm and clear weather stuff...and I don't like it. lol Thankfully it should be stormy for the next week according to the forecast.
