I would say out of SNES, PSX and Dreamcast for me, although the Mega Drive, GameCube and PS3 are also brilliant consoles to consider!

Not so many games for me on the NES front, while the SNES and Mega Drive had an excellent gaming library. Don't care much for the N64 but have always liked Sony systems and PS1 had some great games and exclusives. DC... poor sales, great library and homebrew community. Also because of the game Cannon Spike which of course has Cammy in it and is fun

I feel a lot of people are going to disagree about PSX but I liked that console.

Well I guess it is all up to opinion but the best console out of those for me would be the GBA. Mostly because it had a very good selection of games from Golden Sun, Pokémon, Spyro, ports of the Final Fantasy games, etc. Basically the console was very good and hence is one of the best in my eyes though others may disagree.

18mlivingston : The GBA was a very good handheld, it also had a lot of good homebrew selections on it if you want to play more than the main-stream games.
A massive library and a lot of good SNES remakes found.
Probably my favourite handheld console.

Out of these 4, I would pick the GBA. I am biased as I love Pokemon, and there are a lot of Pokemon games on the GBA. I feel like it's more advanced than the other ones, but you can still get the same nostalgia as you can from previous games. I like the GBA and the GBA emulator as well. So many good games to choose from, and pretty good performance as well.

Of the four that you gave as choices the SNES is without a doubt the best of them. At the time the SNES was released, the whole concept that it put out was revolutionary. Without it, gaming just wouldn't be the same. Plus, the game quality and game selection at the time was outrageously good.

In my opinion out of all the choices I believe the GBA is the best because not only it is a handheld but because of its huge market of games to play like Sonic Advance, Pokemon games, Mario Kart Advanced, and Mario Party Advanced it greatly impacted the gaming industry.

I will have to go with SNES. SNES had very good controls and very good graphics. The SNES I think had some of the best graphics for its time. Donkey Kong Country Series and Mega Man X series really show this. Also Mega Man 7 shows the really good graphics. Not to mention you could play the very old game boy games on the Super Game Boy. The SNES had a great run for all of the 90's. I still think its one of the best systems of all time
