There are a lot of games that you consider the worst ever....

Superman 64
Every LJN game on the NES (I'm not kidding, watch any video of the Angry Video Game Nerd reviewing an LJN game)
Desert Bus
Big Rigs
and a whole lot more!

But what is the WORST game you have ever played?

I know that there might be a lot of threads like this, but this may be different, as it is based on your personal opinion, not the views of others.

Maki4Ever :   The worst is probably this little game I have on my shelf called Marry , Date or Dump .
You get these three celebrity names on one card each and you write down each name in the three title categories based on what your opinion is as to what each celebrity person is suited for .  After the names are read out , the reader writing theirs and keeping them secret and the other players writing what they think the reader would say based on how well they know them . With a limited number of combinations for three names in three categories , the scoring of each person is usually identical and no player usually pulls ahead in score at any time . Even when you get six to eight people together to play and it could turn out to be good , they lose interest after just two rounds of readers . I am still waiting to have good and satisfying experience with Marry , Date or Dump at some point .

Then there's tilting games on my Ipod. The goal of SuperRope, HOP and PapiJump are to keep advancing upwards and not fall down. They don't hold the interest for long. Falldown goes the opposite way but offers the threat of the top of the screen catching up to your ball. I'm glad the gyroscope is built into my Ipod touch 2 but these tilting monstrosities are the only real use I've gotten out of it. (grumble)

I played a game on Homestar Runner where a character controlled by user, slashes candy out of paper candy bags with a butter knife on Halloween. That was lame .

I played a corrupted 20 games in one where the only games I liked were Pokémon Red and Pokémon Blue . Immediately ,  something wasn't right . In battles , characters had black bars all over them , Couldn't make out any of those pictures . The PC was full of Pokémon I hadn't caught right at the start of the game . Glitches were terrible .  Couldn't save if I wanted to.

Those all count as an awful gaming experience.

Desert Bus is certainly one of them. Sure it's a troll of a game, but it's still HORRIBLE.

That other Bus game that was the Pirated Genesis game from Brazil or whatever was even worse.

I would have to say that the most horribly broken, pile of crud game IVE ever played has to be either Red Hood for the NES, PacMan for the 2600, Action 53 or Big Rigs. All are terrible on so many levels, it's not even funny

Wow, I say the worst game I ever played was Nolan Ryan's Baseball. It had Nolan Ryan advertised on it. But there were no major league teams to play through as. Also Nolan Ryan did not even appear in the game. The controls were bad, the graphics were not that great. I later learned that the makers of the game just put Nolan Ryan's name on the game. The game was not licensed by baseball or Nolan. (I'm surprised they did not get sued). It showed

Second worst game would be Mega Man II for game boy. I like Mega Man its my all time favorite video game series. But Mega Man II was just bad. The graphics were horrible, the story line was horrible, the sounds were just terrible, the controls were some of the worst controls I have dealt with. Yeah it was that bad. That is about the only bad Mega Man game I have played.

Jordanv78 : Are you talking about Crazybus? Did you know that someone made a Sonic hack called Crazy Sonic that literally uses the bus from Crazybus? Also, you're talking about Action 52 on NES, right? I'm just making sure; maybe there really is an Action 53 somewhere that one-upped Action 52 in being absolute garbage.

Well, I'll go with my most controversial option for one of the worst games I've ever played, and not because it's broken, glitchy, or otherwise messed up in execution; it's only one of the worst games to me because it was completely opposite to what I was looking forward to in the game as a whole: Mario Tennis Open.

Before you guys cry foul on me, I do understand that there are tons of people who also like this game. I get it, but allow me to explain my reasoning a bit... This game is, quite basically, just tennis. Aside from having Mario characters, being on a Nintendo handheld, and having guides for "super" shots (which are just slightly more powerful versions of regular shots), this game is just tennis. THAT'S IT. I get that the original Mario Tennis was also simply just tennis, but this game came AFTER Mario Power Tennis/Mario Tennis: Power Tour (GC/GBA respectively; Power Tennis had a Wii port with motion controls introduced afterwards), which showed how fun the sport was "Mario"-ified, if you get my drift.

As a game, it's alright. But as a Mario sports game, it's just not right. If I wanted a realistic tennis game, I wouldn't be looking to the Mario sports games for that. Look at Strikers. Look at Mario Hoops 3-on-3. It just doesn't make sense that Mario Tennis Open was just...tennis.

As for a more popularly bad game, I'd have to go with one of the games that I've played throughout my childhood, Uncle Fester's Quest for the NES. I...really don't have to explain my reasoning for this one. All you have to do is watch it for yourself and see how long it takes to kill ANYTHING in this game, and you'll get a general idea as to how this game works.

Hmm. This is a hard question. I don't really remember any games that bad because I didn't play them long enough to remember it. Off the top of my head, I would have to pick Link : The Faces of Evil. I remember being excited to play a new Zelda game as a kid over at a friends place and it turning into one of the biggest disappointments of my life.

AVGN doesn't know good games...
There are quite a few good LJN nes games, such as Jaws, T&C Surf, Pictionary, Terminator 2 just to name a few.

Anyway... one of the worst games I played was the original Halo.
Its overrated. I am sure the hype around it made it worse for me.
The gameplay was SLOW SLOW SLOW... I don't know how it had so many sequels.

Someone's actually working on an Action 52 hack to make it more playable for some reason lol.
I don't know what the worst game I ever played was. Probably some shovelware Wii or PS2 title, because I haven't played many more than what people say are good games on the retro systems, I never own many games and like to play similar titles. I couldn't really complain which is really ironic as I tend to moan about a lot of things.

I can't say there is a 'the worst game' for me, but I remember Lord of the Rings: War in the North. My brother and I played it some before getting bored by its repetitive gameplay (kill waves of enemies + turrent sections) and dumb partner A.I. (female mage was useless).

The worst game I've ever played other than a hack I played is Zelda 2. I lost interest in the game the moment I started playing it and it turns out from what I've heard it is the most difficult Zelda game to beat so that saved me a lot of time and trouble knowing that.

Worst game I ever played was Pokémon Snakewood, it was a great task but it fails in some areas. Also don't even get me started on the floor puzzle room.

I would say Fifa. Because I hate 98% of the sports game and they are so boring mostly. So Fifa is just the tip of the iceberg.

In my opinion, it's either between Sonic the Hedgehog for the Xbox 360 or ET for Atari 2600. I don't need to explain why they are so bad, it's obvious and you probably have heard of them before because of their infamy.

The worst game I ever played would have to be Hello Kitty: Happy Party Pals and not because I'm a guy. The gameplay is boring, repetitive, and slow. Not to mention it was made for the purpose of being shovelware.

Vizzed.com is very expensive to keep alive! The Ads pay for the servers.

Vizzed has 3 TB worth of games and 1 TB worth of music.  This site is free to use but the ads barely pay for the monthly server fees.  If too many more people use ad block, the site cannot survive.

We prioritize the community over the site profits.  This is why we avoid using annoying (but high paying) ads like most other sites which include popups, obnoxious sounds and animations, malware, and other forms of intrusiveness.  We'll do our part to never resort to these types of ads, please do your part by helping support this site by adding Vizzed.com to your ad blocking whitelist.
