So, pretend you are an omnipotent being, and could do whatever you wanted with the universe and everything in it. How would you amuse yourself? Would you create a coliseum, and have the strongest warriors of all time duke it out? Or maybe have all the funniest people ever work together and create jokes to keep you laughing for eternity? The possibilities are endless. What would you choose?

Hmm...I never really thought about what I would do if I were some kind of divine being. Suppose I would start it off by creating my very own universe, then I would manipulate the actions of people's lives every now and then. I would become fate itself. No offense or anything, but I believe a thread like this is suited for the crazy house. Just me, though.

I'd probably do something like create mankind and then cause various events that kill some and crown some

I'll be honest, I'd just start making a bunch of random things that don't make sense and see how'd they adjust to mortal life. I mean, I've always wanted to plants take over the world; Mankind could be my little toybox.

Perform experiments, like creating the most messed up lifeform I could that is still able to survive somehow,  put Vladimir Putin, Kim Jong Un and Donald Trump in a room and see what happens. Literally anything, the possibilities are endless.

Reading the replies in this thread is interesting, because at least to me someone who does not really adhere to any religion, it makes me wonder why God (if he/she exists) would act any differently. Not taking a stab at religion or anything just my thoughts.

I would travel and see what I created, go through space and just look at all the planets and stars because that would be awesome.

I'd be twiddling my thumbs and have no enjoyment in exsistence 

i mean god is an all seeing all knowing entity.. aka omnipotent so it's be pointless to do anything.

Tyrian Delirium : I apologize Tyri. The way it was meant to be explained is, if you could do all the things a god could, while not being all seeing and all knowing, what would you do for fun. But I understand your point, actually being omnipotent would be a real downer.

If I were a god,how would I amuse myself? I think the better question would be what WOULDN'T I do to amuse myself. Maybe I would lob Holy Hand Grenades at those I deem unworthy and unfit to live. Maybe I would have a temple filled with beautiful young virgins to tend to my needs.(Not sexually,perverts.) Maybe I would ensure Keiji Inafune becomes rich with Mighty No. 9. (I am a Mega Man fan.)

Being that I'm almighty, anything and everything I could and would do would automatically be for myself since everything unfolds according to my will and nothing else. So, in a way, everything possible, which, for god, is everything, would be for my enjoyment. Otherwise, nothing would exist.

I'd prove that i was real. Simply to end this pointless bickering that has constantly agitated most of humanity. It'd also stop the pointless "baton of proof" as i like to call it where religious people tell scientific people to prove god does not exist.. and scientific people doing the same thing in return. 

(This is a joke, dont hate me please) 

But if you want an actual actual answer... 

I wouldn't know.. AND i wouldn't trust any being with that amount of power... Power corrupts and always will, whether it slowly or instant. 

I would be a total sadistic A** and would never be praised. I would intentionally make things go wrong (never resulting in death, just like a plane going down in the ocean and leaving a group of people on an island for a couple days) and I would watch them to see how they survive, and score them depending on how often they need my assistance. -1 point if I need to give them supplies, -3 if I need to advance the departure date, +1 if they work together, just a scoring system of sorts. I would do this to a bunch of people within the world here and there just to have multiple matches. I could do this in different environments, the jungle, the arctic, really just about anywhere I so please. I might even have a special reward system, to where if a group of people score so high, then when I return them to their families, within the next month or so I would make amazing things happen to that family, ie money, happiness, love, whatever they so desire. Essentially its like playing a guided game of Sims on unlimited mode xD

But to answer my own thread, I think I'd just play video games all day every day. And when I ran out of games, *POOF*, I'd just make a bunch more

Live among the beings I had created, neither confirming nor denying the existence of an omniscient omnipotent being. I'd let them become their own beings, portraying me in many lights and challenging my existence. What is the point of giving things free-will if you do not let them excercise it?

Or maybe I would create a pantheon of other gods and be known as The Eldest of such beings, The Creator Of Life and Collector Of The Dead.

As someone who absolutely loves Dragon Ball Z, I'd probably create the possibilities and planets that DBZ have. It sure would be fun (also dangerous) to use Ki, even though it's probably hard to learn. And then watch over the universe probably changing things to make things a safer place for specific, unrelated beings.

What I'd do for my ENJOYMENT, I'd probably look how bad things turn out. I'll also be making sure I have no beard/mustache. Maybe watch amazing TAS videos that don't exist in our world yet. I love watching TAS videos.

I would allow my people to obtain actual Pokemon, then see how they would abuse such a privilege, laughing and shaking my head as I see thousands of people either bragging about how they almost caught Mew, crying about how they got slammed by someone who knew what they were doing, or screaming in all out war.
