I remember seeing a dream a little while ago (I can't remember what it was about, but that's not important right now)
What's important is after that dream I woke up in my bed in my room (I thought), got dressed up, brushed my teeth, you know.
Only to wake up yet again (for real this time) and realise that was a dream too!
What's interesting is I clearly remember seeing my room in that second dream (which was identical to my room IRL)
What could this mean?

This is called a False Awakening and it's fairly common.

I forget what it's supposed to mean but I don't really buy into all this secret meaning stuff...

It is certainly strange when that happens, as well as when you know you are actually dreaming in your dream.  I had a dream like that just last night and it is one of the few I think I will remember for the rest of my life

It means you have a routine when you wake up that you do so much that you even do it in your sleep. :p

I've had these dreams too and I'm with yush on this one...I don't think there are secret dream meanings.

I actually have this sometimes. But it when I have a nightmare and it really is terrible when it happens. But then at times I have it when I don't have any nightmare of the sort. Its fairly common if you know about it properly. I am sure it is with people. But its no always said. So its great that you made a thread based on it.

I had a nightmare like this, every time I woke up.. I woke up older and older. I was only 14 at the time so it terrified me, oddly enough thats about a year before my insomnia started getting really, really bad.

It happens very rarely to me. The cause, as I've heard it, is when you wake up from a deep REM sleep, and your mind and body don't get going at the same time. Your mind runs through things, then realizes your body isn't following, and you hop into reality.

At least, that's how I've heard it. It's happened to me maybe two times outside of my time in Missouri (two months of crazy hours as a petitioner, where I fought for as much sleep as I could get), where I often experienced this.

Dear god! Hope you're getting enough sleep now, man.
I see, thanks for the info! It may come in handy in my studies!
So your mind realises it shouldn't be lingering around on its own for too long, or else it might get lost, sounds kinda dangerous...

It normally happens when you get older, your life goes so fast, it's hard to keep up at a point, you actually dream about a normal day. This has in fact happened to be on numerous of occasions, where I dream about my whole day and at the end of the day in the dream, I lay down and "fall asleep" and 5 minutes later, my alarm sounds (for real), and it would be the same day and would mess my mind all up.

So yeah, this has happened on occasion to everyone.

This happens regularly, yes.

Technically, every dream does have some form of "secret" meaning, since they are pretty much visualizations of your subconscious with little conscious intervention (not counting lucid dreams, which are a completely different beast). But for the most part, no, they don't really have secret meanings. I learned this the hard way when a priest was interpreting a strangely horrid nightmare I had and logged into a religious "epiphany," which I even agreed with until I realized it was complete bull.

I'd explain it, but it's a rather long story, and I'd rather only explain it to those who hold true interest in what I have to say. PM me if you want to know it, but know it's kind of convoluted and very, VERY strange overall.

I actually do not recall having a dream like this, but I hardly even realize I'm dreaming while I'm asleep anyway, much less after I (for clarity, actually) wake up.

Hi blohis: It's something to do with your mental well being (something we can't control), We all have our daily routines some dreams like the one you have experienced, this is like Deja Vu. It's just your body doing it's daily routine checks while you sleeping ZZzzz or awake, We are creatures of habit as we like to do the same thing's over and over again. I've had Deja Vu for about 30 seconds once, I was walking down the street twice 1st time it was just my minds eye walking the rout before I got there. So nothing to worry about XD
hope this helped HAPPY GAMING!! and Health
