Getting tired of all the flash and glamour that is going on this Christmas Season? Want to have a closer Family Experience? Wish things could be "Like the good ol' days"? Well you are in luck! Here you can have a taste of Hanukkah! The Holiday that has indigenous people all over the world raving! You will have 8 full days of deep spirituality as you look back on the days your ancestors kicked some serious butt and witnessed miracles after miracle. Not to mention you can successfully "  " Christianity and Christmas since this holiday, and the religion behind it, has been around way before them (and is technically the older sibling, if your Messianic). You will enjoy:

Chindogu’s layout (1) - 5 Surgiac’s layout (1) - 4 Barathemos’ layout (2) - 4 Dahaka’s layout (1) - 3 I'm a bit sad to give this only a 3 cuz I love the drawing, but the image probably shouldn't have been tiled...  Barathemos’ layout (3) - 5 You best sub. :3 The speech bubble works well I think. Ok, for real, I know it's not explicitly stated as illegal by the official rules, but voting your own layouts '5's kind of defeats the whole purpose. Furret’s layout (1) - 4 - Bland but appealing, I appreciate the symmetry. Hidden Phantom’s layout (1) - 4 - I could have done better. Barathemos’ layout (1) - 4 - Coloring could have been done better. Yoshirulez!’s layout (1) - 2 - Texture and image quality is inconsistent. Chindogu’s layout (1) - 3 - I am not a fan of pencil art. Sorry. Surgiac’s layout (1) - 3 - Nothing exciting, but nothing negative. Very meh. Barathemos’ layout (2) - 4 - Your text box is not necessary. Make it transparent. Dahaka’s layout (1) - 2 - Image repeats, pretty sure you didn't intend to do that. In addition, see pencil art comment above. Barathemos’ layout (3) - 4 - I really don't like that text box. Like, at all. Surgiac’s layout (2) - 4 - It's unique, but would have benefited from a background. TornadoMudkip’s layout (1) - 4 - Set up very well, a smaller text box would have made the graphic on the left more powerful. Probably one of the best. Surgiac’s layout (3) - 4 - Excellent use of text box, though it could have been centered better. WandererExiled’s layout (1) - 1 - Borders on top and bottom inconsistent with pattern, hideous picture quality, and more of those godawful scrolling backgrounds. Dahaka’s layout (2) - 2 - This pencil art is excusable, at least it's decent quality. Though, it too repeats. In the future, extend the image before uploading it in ms paint or something, which isn't difficult with a solid color background. WandererExiled’s layout (2) - 2 - Put the animation in the lower border. Not terrible, but certainly no eye candy. Dahaka : Disregard- Also: TornadoMudkip : Erasing this, I finally see some more votes below, so never mind disregard what I said. I do feel as if more votes should happen before everything is decided. Here's my votes and my critque on each layout: Going by order of post: Furret: (1) 3/5 I said what I thought of his layout in a hidden forum so I'm not gonna repeat it here. It's still good and still readable. My own layout: Supercrash64 (1) 4/5 I agree with everything else everybody has said with my layout, the main thing messing it up being the text box. Hidden Phantom: (1): 4 out of 5. Great looking layout, it's very nice too look at and it's overall very festive. My only complaint is I feel as if the text box should've been a little bit bigger. Barathemos: (1) 3 out of 5. It's good looking just I don't really like the pixelation of the picture. YoshiRulez! (1): 3 out of 5. The sig saying "merry whatever" give's me that kind of a bummer feeling. And I wish he would darken the green on the text, it's a little bit straining on the eyeballs for me. Chindogu: (1) 4 out of 5. The picture used is hillarious and the overall layout is pretty great looking and readable with a large text box to sweeten the deal. Barathemos (2): 4 out of 5. Great looking layout, I just wish the text box was a little bit darker or brighter in transparency as the text box almost blends in entirely with the picture. Surgiac: (1): 3 out of 5. It's good and basic as is. I wish there was more to look at then just the people below. Dahaka: (1): 3 out of 5. The image shouldn't have been sit to titled, and the picture's background could use a little life in it something other than white. Barathemos (3): 3 out of 5 It just looks good and the text box works really well. The only thing is though I feel as if the Grinch and Father Christmas, with their blue and somewhat flashy background ruins it. Dahaka: 2) 2/5 I know this is harsh. And unlike your previous layouts: The text used for it is small making it a bit hard to read without zooming in. I agree and think that competitors and hosts shouldn't vote but it looks like this isn't that popular so I'll cast my votes to help it out. I hate voting for myself, it seems... anti realistic. Like they say, the creator is the worst critic. Although, I added a commentary to my art at the end of the post for whosoever is interested. I made my decisions by scoring each topic (Looks good, easy to read, Christmas). Afterwards, I averaged the scores and gave you the RATING. The average is rounded to the nearest whole number.

This isn’t an attempt to sway votes but a little artist commentary to my layouts. Keep in mind. These were my first layouts. I had no access to coding so I had to work with the limited basic layout builder. My programs of choice are MS paint and a 2004 Samsung photo editor. WandererExiled’s layout (1): THEME: a homage to late 80s, early 90s games. Yea, gifs did act weird, but I believe it’s because of the *online* editors I was using. The bars themselves were supposed to be even but somehow… the bottom one messed up. I was pleased with the rest as it turned out pretty much exactly the way I wanted it. WandererExiled’s layout (2) THEME: An 8-bit version of the Bible Story. I’m happy with this one. If I was given a week I’d have gotten this to look way cooler and closer to my vision for it. WandererExiled’s layout (3) THEME: Hanukkah but modeled after AOL's . Honestly, this was an attempt to acknowledge other folks. I never intended it to actually be accepted for voting. So thanks, I appreciate it. This, one also got hit the worst with the glitch bug that I got going on. It looked perfectly beautiful in my editor, a little worse on the site (graphics-wise the layout itself was good), and done right ugly when I posted it (The layout was butchered by the post).
