The first five-ten or so minutes of "UP". It sets the tone of the movie flawlessly, and packs so many emotions into a few minutes.

Probably the beginning of the movie. First 30 minutes or so is always good. Then theres the the part where everything goes wrong which I don't like and then at the end it usually shows a happy ending. So the beginning and the end for me because it's very positive and happy usually.

Oh well. Atleast that lead to Lemmings http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lemmings_(video_game) One of the best games ever.

When  V.I.N.CENT kills Maximilian at the ending of  "The Black Hole" and he(it?) goes drifting into the vortex. That robot had to die. He was a menace I tell you!

My favorite part is all of The Avengers, Avengers 2, and Guardians of the Galaxy.

Or actually, all of The Incredibles. That movie was, well, incredible. xP Not often does a positive, yet mature movie that supports families come out, and become as popular as that one did.

The end of The Hunchback of Notre Dame. When I first saw the movie in the theater (I was twelve), I remember just being stunned. My heart was fluttering. I think it was the first time I ever realized just how powerful and moving a film can be. I don't remember any movie affecting me so personally before that.

I would say...goofy movie because that film taught me to realize now matter how weird your parents can be. Or if they embarrass you. They can also be cool. Which means you are not only the cool dude around lol. Its live and learn from them and then you will find out that your parents are not as bad as they seem to be when they are parenting.

My favorite moments (since they had pretty much The same music) were, in order, Philip battling Dragon Maleficent and Robin Hood climbing up The castle tower before he jumps. They both had very dramatic music that still gives me goosebumps.

Speaking of dramatic music, Maleficent luring Aurora to The spindle also had an excellent track, put to much better use than Chaikowsky did actually.

My favorite moment in a Disney movie happens in Mulan.

Captain Li Shang was training his men to get them ready to go to war against Shan Yu and his men. During the time Li Shang was training Ping ( Mulan ) and his men a song plays that sounds very empowering and it completely fit's the scene. All the men fail during the training until Ping overcomes one incredibly hard trial. This motivates everyone else and eventually they all pass the training, ready to go to war for China.

zanderlex : While The movie departed from The usual damsel-in-distress mold, I did not find The movie all that appealing. I thought The Hunchback of Notre Dame was more interesting.

Out of all the moments from disney movies, my favorite moment would probably have to be the Simba vs Scar battle and what happened after. It was so great to see Scar finally get what had been coming to him since he killed Mufasa, and afterwards, Simba becomes the king. Definitely my favorite Disney moment.

Gotta agree with gamerforlifeforever2,I loved seeing Scar getting what he deserved. But I should put something different. Tarzan, the final battle between Tarzan and Clayton. Tarzan and Clayton battle it out in the trees,Clayton firing his rifle, and he falls in a mass of vines. He draws his machete, hacks away wildly, and ends up hanging himself. He got what his misdeeds deserved.

It would probably be The Genie's song "Friend Like Me" from Aladdin.  I pick that because of my best friend for more than 35 years. To me, it just explains what we both have gone through. I do favors for him and he returns those favors in kind. He was the one who built this computer of mine. I bought the parts, though. I loan him video games for his collection(which is quite extensive) and he fixes my PC for free instead of me having to go to those places where they charge exorbitant fees.

Wow… There are so many beautiful moments from all the Disney movies that it’s too difficult to only choose one favorite moment, so here’s a small list (this certainly isn’t all of them!):

- The first few minutes of UP.

Spoiler:
Those were very emotional scenes and they literally brought me to tears. For the record, I don’t like to cry but I couldn’t help it that time, so the animation artists totally succeeded.

- Robin Hood with Maid Marian, putting on the ring by the waterfalls.
Spoiler:
Call it lovey-dovey, or what you will, but I thought it was lovely. ><

-The training song from Mulan.
Spoiler:
Yeah, I just thought the entire song was hilarious and the artists did well when adding in the cultural references. And then there was the King of the Rock… haha, sorry.

-Most of the songs in The Little Mermaid, for example when Ariel sings about wanting more thingamabobs, and Sebastian’s Under the Sea song. The songs are witty and catchy.

- The frying pan scene in Rapunzel. It’s the most natural reaction, seriously.

- The beginning of Frozen.
Spoiler:
It’s too bad they didn’t have more scenes like when Elsa was making snowmen indoors for her little sister. I’m sure a lot of people would agree that we wouldn’t just be making snowmen if we had Elsa’s powers.
Also, the ice fortress, but only the ice fortress.
Spoiler:
Pretty as the ice fortress scene was, complete with a song and all, the song only highlighted her irresponsibility (not freedom), and thus I thought the creation of the ice fortress was the best part of that scene due to the lovely special effects. Sorry, Frozen was probably also the only Disney film I didn’t completely like.

- When Beauty dances with Beast, and Beauty’s skirts are swishing while they whirl all around the ballroom. I just thought the scene was beautifully animated, which made the scene very romantic and dreamy. The techniques used to animate that scene were also considered quite new and innovative for its time.

I have to agree with supernerd and Yuna. UP was the first and only Disney movie where I actually cried. I couldn't go to sleep for a few days for some reason. Even Mufasa's death didn't make me cry, although I was holding back tears.
