So, I really like war themed movies and TV shows on Netflix. I have seen White House Down, the 2 about Rome... but I want something I have not seen before. 

Band of Brothers would be perfect if I hadn't have already seen it at least 10 times. I'd love to watch Pearl Harbor, but I don't think that Netflix has that. 

So, what can you suggest? 

If you suggest something and I actually watch and like it, I'll send some Viz your way.

thing1 : Did you mean war themed movies / TV shows just for Netflix Streaming? Because I'm pretty sure that Netflix has Pearl Harbor for rent on DVD ( as well as most of the other great war movies / TV shows... if not all of them ) but it may not be available for the streaming service.

- Platoon Leader - I think this was good when I watched it like 20 years ago
- A Case of Honor - I haven't watched this yet.

Some other ones on Netflix which I haven't watched (but are Documentaries and not movies:
- Severe Clear
-The Last Days of Osama Bin Laden

If you are into Documentaries, Restrepo is one I thought was good.


I can list a bunch of movies, We Were Soldiers for example, but I don't want to make a list knowing that you have already watched some of them on Netflix and not knowing which ones you haven't watched.

tRIUNE : Restrepo is a good one. I've seen the sequel to it, too. 

These are some good recommendations. I'll definitely be checking out Platoon Leader, as that has been on the back burner for a long time. I also think I have seem the Osama one, but I'm not sure.
