Somehow, I don't know how, but SOMEHOW let people use Netplay for Pokemon games. That'll make me happy

Davideo7 : you should add cheat codes to almost every system in the retro game room.

Davideo7 : I think, in my honest opinion... allow people to connect to one another without using netplay. Not all of us are able to use it cause our computers might have issues with running new programs or installing plugins.

Or, another useful thing would be to allow people to add their OWN hacked ROMs to the retro game room. Like for example, a hacked ROM that is no longer being supported by the actual creator is sitting on my computer since like... I don't know, a few weeks now... so why not allow people like myself to share our interesting hacked ROMs.

Or, possibly... allow people to connect Pokémon games together, Pokémon is HIGHLY loved on here... and I know many many many of us would really appreciate being able to battle and trade on here with other members... that would be absolutely amazing.

It would help if there was a "jump to page #" option. I like to try and flesh out a system with screen shots and as I get further in (page # wise) it becomes a hassle to keep going page by page looking for games that need screen shots.

So, I have a few things to suggest. First of all, I don't know if you're familiar with manga sites but sometimes they have an option called "Surprise Me!". This calls out a random title to be seen, and I'd love this to be added to the search categories. Sometimes I want to try playing a new game and have no idea where to start searching. (Edit: Actually, there's a tiny "rand" button there but I don't think it's working since I click and nothing happens, or maybe it works for something else...)
Also, something that bothers me a lot is the fact that I can't delete my own screenshots when I upload something by mistake. The option "edit" is good, but sometimes getting rid of them is better. Summoning an moderator every time would be a bother, right?
Well, I've gone back a few pages and I believe no one had suggested this yet.

Uh you can make the Sega CD games cheaper because they cost so much Viz for example a chess game for Sega CD costs about 400 Viz and for a chess game that is a lot.

Brenman213 : They are expensive, because they are large in file size its sucks trust me I don't like it either, but the owner had to make them expensive.

Davideo7 : I have an idea that would make the pages for the game more appealing. How about having several box arts on a page, the person on the page choosing which one to see. The box description shown on the page would also change if the viewer clicked to see a different one.

Davideo7 : I want to add to what Tails said, by saying that by different box arts, it would be the selection from across the globe such as the EU covers or the Japanese covers and vice-versa. This would be pretty cool as if say it was made an option of which box art someone would prefer to see it would make them recognize the game as they remember it. Of-course if there wasn't a box-art for the selected region then it would be the default of the currently existing box-art. I like this idea since I prefer the designs on many EU box arts compared to the likes of certain US box-arts. Most notable the Tomba / Tombi box arts. I prefer to see the EU version.

Davideo7 : In regards to the Retro Game Room, it's not clear to me how the sort or search actually works. Here's an example: I want to look at all games in the library that are Puzzle/Sim/Strategy for MAME that start with the letter R. So, I click Puzzle/Sim/Strategy first because it is the first filter that I come to. The page reloads and I get some results. (Wasn't expecting the page to reload.) Next I check the box next to MAME and now I'm expecting the page to reload but it doesn't. Last, I click R and the page reloads. My results are not what I expected. I get Gameboy and Sega games. Plus , I'm seeing a lot of R-Type which I consider an action/shooter. My first suggestion is make it possible to narrow the search to my specifications. Also, I looked for an instruction guide on how to correctly operate the RGR search in the Help Center.I found no information. My second suggestion is, if you plan on keeping the RGR search the way it is, make a help guide explaining how to get the best results from it. Lastly, I decided to search the Board for a relevant thread before I made a post like this but cannot locate the Board search function. I know it's hard to tell from the written word if someone's complaining - I am not and I apologize in advance if I've missed something or posted in the wrong spot.

I dunno if anyone suggested it yet (15 pages of suggestions is a lot to read), but maybe a link for reporting problems with games.

In the last screen shot competition, I found a number of games that didn't work due to numerous different errors.

It would be great to have a form similar to the video submission page to describe the problem and notify someone of the issue.
