Just thought I'd say something...I don't see why we're all so worried about fools. I mean, they aren't a huge threat. We lynch them, they win the game. Good for them. It's just another third party role out of the game, and one more suspicious person out of the game. So why is it a big deal?

My vote is for Thing1.

If he's a tree, I'll apologize greatly. But I think he might be one of them.

In still don't think I could justify a lynch. So my vote remains No Vote 

But we really aren't doing badly as we have killed the assassin and a mafia member.

I'm not going to vote for thing1 (mainly because basically the whole game has voted for him anyways).

However I'd just like to state just because sonic helped greatly to get rid of an evil role doesn't mean his innocent. I'm not at all saying he's guilty but I'm just saying the chances are still there. I'm only saying it because I feel people will automatically have him in the good books for the rest of the games which isn't smart to do for anyone.

Okay let me explain something here... You all seem fine killing someone who is a fool because the only thing that happens is they win the game.. 

To me winning the game is the whole point of a game like this.. What's the point of literally saying "It's only a game, it doesn't matter if they win"

With which i reply.. what's the point of even playing the game...  and well i suspect EM because he uses logic..and to be honest i thought he'd been less active than he had been.. (but still your posts have been devoid of actual logic just pretty much filler posts)

Blubcreator : That's strange. I thought I had made a post explaining my inactivity and why I don't support the thing1 vote. I wonder why it didn't go through. I guess I'll explain really quickly now what's going on.

I don't like the thing1 vote. Like zander, I think thing is trying too hard to deflect attention towards himself. I didn't support the zander voting (in which case he was an assassin, so it seems to have been a worthwhile lynch). But the chances of thing being a mafia member is pretty low considering he's pretty much daring people to kill him. I don't know why he would try so hard to get himself killed. Assuming he's just a tree (I don't exactly know what all the different attributes a tree can have), then it'd be a waste of a day round (I know it'd reveal that he is a tree, but the Mafia would know that he's a tree as well, which gives them one less person to target). If he's the fool, then we're pretty much giving him the satisfaction of winning while once again reducing the number of Town members that the Mafia can target.

As for my inactivity, you're correct that its because of college. I pretty much just wrote an 8 page researched argument with 15 sources in the span of 2 days, and have had 6 hours of sleep in the past 3 days trying to get this essay done (which by the way was my third attempt at writing this essay since the first two topics i did were too road and I accidentally deleted my essay Tuesday). That's why I was offline all of last weekend as well. Sorry if finishing my second semester of college makes me look scummy, but not auto-failing my courses takes priority over this.

There wasn't much discussion to be had on the second day. Thing1 had admitted being a tree or whatever, and the town decided it would be a good idea to call his bluff and lynch him.

As they gathered around thing1 to tie the rope around his neck, they found something peculiar about him.

Namely that it was hard to hang him.

In fact, it was genuinely impossible.

Because he's a tree.

So absolutely no one died.

Feeling as if they accomplished very little, the players went back to bed. The third night at Leggy's was about to begin...

Zlinqx : Not necessarily. We know he's a tree now, but that means the Mafia won't touch him anymore. So now, they have one less person to target at night. While it does remove one person from suspicion, it could end up working out in the Mafia's favor. Chances were that he was either a tree of a fool, and he ended up having a role that made him immune from being lynched.

That was totally lame. 

However, in the same vein, I would like to bring the spotlight on sonicmcmuffin. (I'm not voting yet, I know it's night round, I need to remember to say this. )

You told me in your PM that you claimed a role, and ONLY told one other person.

Why did you lie, and now tell us that you let a bunch of people know?

long story short.

i told snow and pac i was a sheriff
em and mmm that i was a doctor
mvhupsel and patar that i was mafia
zander and thing1 that i was the godfather...

So technically only one other person knew the same role i claimed... 

I know it's pretty chaotic.. but man... it worked that is all.

Now of course this raises questions such as... why did neither mvhupsel or patar state i said i was mafia
same can be said for you and pac and em and mmm... It doesn't prove what side your on.. it just really shows 1 or 2 things out of hundreds of possibilities such as

1) you thought this information would help you
2) you thought this information was worthless
3) you wanted to see how it all panned out
4) you wanted to see what i did to actually find out my role.
5) you decided to do nothing.. for reasons i dont understand
6) i got absurdly lucky and ended up picking 8 people with power roles.. 2 of which have been confirmed
7) Or they remaining alive players dont have any role that is sufficent to do anything about me at all.
8) or they do and they're keeping quiet due to the negative affect of revealing themselves too early
9) Deception is the nature of this game.. if there was no deception there would be no game

Why try to kill someone who was already suspected of being a mafia sided tree and was already under heavy suspicion of town (and would've probably continued to be had we not tried to lynch him) which like someone said earlier could've caused problems later when we would've maybe not been able to afford the luxury to call his potential bluff.

You forgot... My reason to not "reveal" you was because I DON'T CAAAAAAARE!

I don't know what to say about the fact they never revealed your roles, but it could be the same as me... doooon't care. 
I highly doubt it that they have the same roles as I do, though, and that changes everything. 

I'm gonna point it out now... Patar has been semi-inactive, and that could be a reason to the rounds being so long.

I will point out that day rounds are the same length regardless of activity, and that night rounds are kept to 24-48 hours, regardless, as well.

If I don't get a PM, I don't get a PM, and their role is skipped.

People seem to forget this.

EDIT - That is to say, if the players all got their PMs in right away, I still wouldn't update until 24 hours or a suitable amount of time for everyone to get online had passed.

Snowdeath : I think by now it would have been pretty obvious he PM'd everyone he FoS'd early in the game, probably trying to bait something out of them. It should also be somewhat obvious for those that got a PM saying he only messaged 1 other person, that he could have told a bunch of different roles, to a bunch of different people, while initially planning to leave people with suspicions only instead of making it widely known. Unfortunately (or fortunately, seeing how things unfolded), zander made it known that he got a PM.

Let's not forget though, the fact thing1 is a tree like he said pretty much guarantees he's a mafia sided tree (zero reason for anyone town-sided to do what he did regarding his role). Here's the catch though, when muffin posted that he sent a PM to thing1 saying he was the Godfather, if we assume it was a lie (which I myself believe is the case), the actual Godfather became aware of it as well... Thus, at this moment it is not in the interest of Mafia to kill muffin as he's a possible scapegoat for the actual Godfather, they'd have to be really stupid to kill him (again, assuming he lied about it). Still, while it's nothing solid, I don't feel like muffin is Mafia-sided. I just don't think he'd take such a reckless approach if that was the case, plus he offers good input overall. Also, being a catalyst for chaotic situations early on has proved to be useful in the end, it could still be a changing factor to the game depending on how things go. If we're gonna lynch him at some point, I'd rather do so later on in the game and if possible with a decent reason to do so other than him taking a reckless approach whose intents are confusing.

EDIT: Didn't see muffin's post since i had to leave in a rush while in the middle of making my own post... only to come back half an hour later, finish and see I missed some posts. My bad. Still, seeing as people aren't posting, I'll just edit this. Not changing  anything in the original message though.

I speak for myself here, but to address his question as to why didn't I reveal his role publicly, It remained the same as the one I replied to him when I originally got his PM.

I'll quote myself: "I'll make sure to keep that in mind and take action accordingly depending on how things unfold."

Think whatever you wanna think about it, but I don't really think people's reasons for not sharing it publicly are really that meaningful, like muffin said, it really could be anything.

Snowdeath : I think he is lying to you. Because when he PM'ed me his supposed role, he told me he has only messaged one other person at that time, and that person was zanderlex. Messaged, not told said role. So somewhere in there he is lying. 

But I can confirm that he told me he was godfather. And I will also confirm that I told him I was a tree.
