Well, I'm experimenting using my PS3 controller on Win 8 & I would like to use it to play RGR games (esp. the PS games), but the controller's not responding to any of its controls. Any suggestions of what I should do? BTW, this is my 1st time not using the keyboard to play RGR games.

A PS4 controller works just fine once plugged in and installed with no hoops to jump through but for the PS3 controller its a different story. The PS3 will install itself no problem but configuring everything is done via a program called DS3 Tool which you can use to calibrate and map the buttons to emulate a PS1, PS2, or PS3 controller even the motion sensor sometimes work.

This is the website here.  http://sourceforge.net/projects/ds3tool/

The correct name for the program itself is called Motion In Joy. Just remember that you need an internet connection to view the program.

I don't know why people are still suggesting DS3tool...its dated and causes lots of issues with USB devices.

Uninstall ds3tool and follow this guide instead:
