So, I am taking it upon myself to build something. At first, I just wanted to build a house. Then, I decided I wanted to build an underground bunker protected by Lava or Water. Well, the bedrock is 3 blocks deep, so no underground bunker. 

I had already dug up the 4 sections that I plan on claiming ( I can only claim about 60 - 70 % of it, so I don't know why it let me build on didn't take my MViz ) . However, since I don't have enough claim blocks to claim all of it right this moment, I would ask that people do not interfere with that plot. It is located near the big black building, and in the area where the glass mall is. 

I am open to help with building this, but I would ask that anybody that would like to help do not do work unless I tell them what I would like done if I am not online. 

I hope to have the first level or two ready by 3/29/2015 . Please refer to the signs that are posted at the 4 corners of the area I am building at. 



I have plans to make this at least 10 stories high. It will be a maze ( as of right now ), and it will be continuous. It will be a bit difficult, but it shouldn't be too hard for Minecraft veterans. 
After I finally complete the 10 stories, I will probably try to add another story every month or two. 

I am taking all feedback and suggestions at this time. 
If you would like to donate materials, that will be available, as I will try to have a sign saying what I currently need, and a big box for you to place the items in.

So, I got super bored super early at work, and got the first two level completed by 6 or 7 server time after a couple of hours marathon'ing my projection. 

It's officially open for business. You'll be able to obviously tell when I am adding more... it'll be be a new material than the one below it, or the new level will be half done.

I took a huge break from building the World Trade Center, so I guess I could donate what I had left from that project.

what are you building it out of? I've got lots of blocks to donate depending on what you are using. Let me know what you are in need of and I can provide.

geeogree : Well, I've done water / glass on the first level, and then the 2nd level ( ground floor ) is wood and Glowstone. 

I know I'll need a crap load of glow stone for lighting purposes ( assuming I understand it's purpose, which is giving off light in dark areas ) . 
I'm thinking about doing colored wool next. I had to use somewhere around 1500 to 2000 wood blocks just for the 2nd level, make that maze. I probably only used about 75 to 125 Glowstones though.  So, the more of a single color you can provide, the better. 

I don't have a box for you to put them in though. I need to figure that one out. I guess we would just have to pick a time to meet online, and that might not work for awhile, seeing as how I only have internet at work right now, and that's during the night from Thursday to Sunday.

What kind of wood? There's different kinds and I'm sure you don't want each area of the floor to be a different color.

zanderlex : I do want different colors. It will make each level of the maze unique. Sure, it may look strange on the outside, but it will serve it's purpose on the inside. 

And I think Oak? Whatever the cheap stuff is in the shop at the main spawn. 

I have no coloured wool. I have no reason to have any sorry.

I do have a fair bit of glowstone though. I could get you some of that. Bug me the next time we're both on and I'll do what I can.

You can check those by hitting F3 in-game and telling us the numbers you see next to X, Y, and Z.

For the mean time, to find where it is, go to the Minecraft page, and look at the map. Then, move it up to the other side of the 3 islands. You will see the Empire State Building that zanderlex made. You will also see a giant black structure a little more north than that. 

My maze is the little structure hidden behind the Empire State Building. 

thing1 : I dont know if the old one has been deleted yet, so the empire state building that I made is right in front of the main island.

zanderlex : Like I said... on the other side of the 3 small islands next to the main spawn.
