It just depends on what emulators you have already tried, as well as what OS you have.

Sometimetimes you'll have better results with a specific emulator if it only supports certain operating systems (OS), and sometimes it depends on the specs of your machine.

I use nulldc for dreamcast emulation, if games aren't working for you on dolphin then you probably don't have powerful enough hardware.  Dolphin is probably the best gamecube/wii emulator there is.  The only other gamecube emulator I have tried was boopcube which worked okay but dolphin is much better.

Really fast for what it does, easy to use, and tons of features. But you should definitely tell us your specs before downloading Dolphin.
