Glad to hear of of these upcoming changes, and I really appreciate you reaching out for feedback. There are definitely lots of good options here.
Personally, I'd love for there to be some kind of option where you can independently adjust the volume for a game within the plug in itself.

Example: sometimes, I may have a game open while I'm using skype/other chat program or I may have youtube on in the background. What I'm trying to say is, I want to be able to turn down the game volume alone at certain times without affecting the level of volume for other programs in use at the same time.

I'm not sure if this is a feature already, but my searching of the forums hasn't turned up anything regarding this subject. As such, I voted for the 'other' option. Sorry if this seemed really niche or oddly specific, haha.
Regardless, any of these changes  listed in the voting options would make fine additions.

Thanks!

Davideo7 : I love the updates, and I look forward to the stuff, I added an other vote and my other suggestion would be trying to get the recording software on the 1964 version of the n64 emulator, if this is not possible that's ok, I just figured I'd suggest it. Keep up the awesome work with this amazing site

Davideo7 : I was thinking adding a battle arena. I was thinking it to be a RPG mode in which if you win, you earn a small yet reasonable amount of Viz. For addition you could add tournaments in which if you win, you earn a lot of Viz. You could obtain items from the item shop and use them for your advantage. You could hire people to code the mode in order for people to add ideas or to improve the game play.
Side Note: I was thinking the Dreamcast should be 65,000 Viz. It is a terrible price but at least a right amount of price to play Dreamcast games.

I would like to see the Dreamcast be added and also this may not be related but it be nice to have a feature on the site that lets you create a saved list of games. So that we can get to them quicker.

Play like playlists and maybe share them with others or just keep to self.

How about a mute option? Or at least a way to turn the emulator volume down. I sometimes want to listen to my music, and I can't without overlapping the game's soundtrack over it.

Davideo7 : I would LOVE Dreamcast games. I own a US region one, but I only have like one game for it. I'd also like Dreamcast games for some pretty pointless reason, which is just to see how Sonic Adventure for Dreamcast looks compared to SADX. (Yeah it's REALLY pointless) I have a good computer, so it should probably work. By the way, would it be possible to get the Dolphin Emulator(a gamecube/wii emulator) to work on vizzed? If you're able to, you should only put on the games that don't need a remote to play(Ex:Games that don't require the wii nunchuck)

I vote to add DOS games (and perhaps some other old PC games as well). I had so many PC games when I was a kid, but alas, most of them no longer work on newer computers. I would love some of the old MECC games like Oregon Trail 2, The Amazon Trail, and the Yukon Trail. I used to LOVE those games so much and play them for ages.

Davideo7 :

1) Update (Mednafen): I think one of the biggest priorities should be to update the emulators used in the plugin, that way we have all of the increased compatibility and stability that provides.

2) Add DOS games: I'm assuming this would run a localized DOSBox installation of some sort? Whatever the case, I've loved the idea of playing those games and think it is an awesome idea to build that into this site.

3) Other - Linux/Mac compatibility: I know people ask about a Linux/Mac version of the plugin and I get how much work and money that would take, so I'm not going to ask about that. Instead, if you could make sure at least one of the emulators for each system has a Platinum, Gold, or maybe even Silver ranking on the Wine Application Database? That way us Mac and Linux people can still play our games through WINE using the guide I put together. I have a basic entry for the plugin itself in the database, if that helps any. It just checks if the game loads, not so much how well it plays.

Obviously a Linux/Mac version of the plugin would be awesome, and since you have the source code now would it be possible to release it as OSS so the community can work on it? I don't know much about coding yet but I'm sure some people would love to work with the code and help implement these things in their free time. That decision is ultimately up to you, though.

I think adding DOS games would be the best choice.  I loved DOS games as a kid (anyone heard of Jazz Jackrabbit?), and anyone can play them.
I would vote for Dreamcast since I loved that system too, but I doubt my computer could handle it.

I think we should have full screen support for GBA games. Also the ability input action replay codes and net play for GBA as well, and maybe some Game Cube games should be added too.

I vote for a some updates to the game room plug in mine keeps crashing for some reason and also can we get access to psp games? As many are sure of they have a psp emulator that does work good. Game cube games I would say no to for I've tried running it and even the sound quality was horrible and some of the games didn't run worth a crap. Dream cast games would be a plus to! Or even some newer game boy advance games. I know off topic on some of the things but some good ideas I would guess. Thanks

In my opinion the very first thing that should be done is fix anything that doesn't work.
So primary focus should be on those updates.
Sure more games is cool and all, but the first rule should always be to make sure what you already have works for as many users as possible.
Then add more features. My 2 cents.

This is a very annoying problem and a large part of the reason why I don't bother with video recording... Anytime I attempt to upload a video of any size, after 3 hours, Vizzed/Youtube has a problem with completing my upload. I would really like the ability to remember where an upload leaves off so that the video can finish. I go to bed with my upload at 40% but after that, it just won't finish (Even though we can "upload it over night" dur). What's the maximum size of videos? Is it 10 mins? or am on the list of people who just can't upload videos? This is insanely annoying, to the point where I'd rather just not play games on Vizzed.

-Also, I think Vizzed refreshes way too much. I hate how I'm in the middle of a game and it refreshes whenever it wants. I don't want Vizzed to refresh on it's own, especially if I am in the middle of playing a game. Sometimes my framerate drops low enough to distract me or causes lag at critical moments of gameplay. I would rather not close Vizzed but I have no choice.

Davideo7 : I feel that a GREAT addition to the RGR would be the ability to use cheat codes on systems like the GBA (Gameshark, Action Replay), SNES, and other systems. I'm not sure if this is possible or not, but based on what you've done so far with the RGR, I am confident that you can almost anything with this!

Vizzed.com is very expensive to keep alive! The Ads pay for the servers.

Vizzed has 3 TB worth of games and 1 TB worth of music.  This site is free to use but the ads barely pay for the monthly server fees.  If too many more people use ad block, the site cannot survive.

We prioritize the community over the site profits.  This is why we avoid using annoying (but high paying) ads like most other sites which include popups, obnoxious sounds and animations, malware, and other forms of intrusiveness.  We'll do our part to never resort to these types of ads, please do your part by helping support this site by adding Vizzed.com to your ad blocking whitelist.
