Hello, 
I am currently a Newbie and am just posting a few things about my experiences and goals here. I discovered this site looking for legal ways to play retro games. The prospects of this site are very exciting: community, netplay, streaming etc. After looking into it, I'd like to save up 135,000 Vizz to spend on the PlayStation, Vizz Machine CD, Netplay, Beta ticket and speed booster. With those items I would pretty much be set for a full and free experience. I plan to earn this by posting videos of my play sessions regularly. Any advice or news would be greatly appreciated!

If you think you would be playing often, maybe you could consider getting yourself added to the list of Streamers on Twitch.tv or Hitbox... You can earn a lot of viz, but you have to be sure to stream regularly, and the Viz will come from what you'll be doing anyway.

Hey Devindo. Welcome to Vizzed. I hope your stay here is fun and that you stick around for a long time. Along with the videos why not do game reviews as well ? Got agree with Darthyoda as well ... would be a good idea to getting yourself added to the list of streamers in Twitch.tv ( sorry don't know the other ). I also like just generally posting in the forums. Lots of good subjects out there to talk about. Well whatever you decide to do have fun. 

Local Mods : Can you move this one over to the Newbie forum?

If you want to save up for those items, then I suggest that you start posting many quality posts and come on a lot and before you know it, you will have enough Viz for all of them.

Thank you for the suggestion of Twitch and Hitbox, I have not looked into those yet. I will probably be too busy this semester to stream regularly but maybe we'll see what the summer or spring break hold. I can't quite remember how I found this...it might have been me looking for a legal and free-ish way to collect pokemon games from each gen. My favorite find so far, for the value, was probably the Super Mario All Stars that came with Super Mario world.

I am generally too shy about posting on other media, but so far the community seems really cool and I have enjoyed posting as well. I didn't really expect replies SK fast. I am mainly excited to netplay with my younger brother since we live in different states and used to game together all the time.

devindo : You can't, only mods of that forum can, and do not make multiple posts to summon more than one person, summon everybody in just 1, what you did goes completley against what I said about quality posts.

That aside, welcome! If you've ever got questions about the site, or need help with anything, feel free to contact me or any of the staff!

Also, to help you summon multiple people to a post, here's how you summon someone. You'll need to type their username on a new line, followed immediately by a ':'. Then, hit space, and when you submit your post the summon will take effect. When you've summoned them, you'll see the username change to their username color, and will become a clickable link. Here's an example of a correct summon:

and here's an example of a failed summon:

The only difference is that I hit space after the ':' on the first summon attempt, and didn't afterwards.

Like you, I've made lot of mistakes when I was a newbie.

But of course... Please be at ease, no fear my friend.
There are lots of people in here who cares to help you out.

My public PM notes:
1) Being in here means like survival. Be sure to be friendly all the time.
2) Browse a lot of AWESOME features in here. Walls, games, posts and etc.
3) You know, if you spend more time to get to use this site, I bet you are gonna be addicted like me in the past.
4) If you have some grammar issues, there are useful spellchecker everytime you post a thread and such.
5) The more AWESOME thing is be sure to collect some Viz points and CPs. (by Posting threads, coming everyday and such)
6) Be sure to read Help Center to know more.
7) If you're lost, don't be shy to ask for help or anything from those AWESOME guys that have been here for such a long time.
