I find it kinda annoying how most sites have it so you can change your gender, but somehow vizzed doesn't allow this option? I'm a boy and I kinda accidentally put girl down. I feel as if this is both a suggestion and a question. I think it's something that should be added to the site as some people do change there gender later in lives. As a family friendly site, people should be allowed to express themselves and be who they are.

As for having gender change as an option, I think that's a good idea. It should be easier to change your gender, but at the same time I would want it to be more of a serious thing. Letting anyone change it at anytime might make it more of a joke.

But considering how most every other site has this as a option it looks kinda odd. I don't think it should be a serious thing either, as gender is kinda who someone is, and it's personal is it not?

And that is one of the reasons I want to change my gender on this site; I kinda dislike blue, but I really dislike green. I love red, but pink is my favourite colour! I LOVE pink!!

So if this is gonna be a feature, I'd maybe change it here. But probably not, though. People could get confused.

Getting your particular gender changed to the correct one seems to be PM-worthy to me. If you haven't already done so, It would probably be okay to send Davideo7 a Private Message asking him to correct your gender. There is a chance that he may not ever make it to this thread to see what the problem is but there is no doubt that he will personally view every PM he gets. He's a busy guy and we can't fault him for prioritizing.

If having the option to change your gender at any time is really an important issue to you, then I suppose it wouldn't hurt to also include that as part of your PM.

My personal thoughts on the matter is that it is unnecessary to have the option of gender change.

It changes what everyone sees you as. As a Christian, I am who GOD created me to be; and I do not want to go against that. No one really knows for sure what gender the other person is until interacting with them more or being able to see them in person. Either way, it doesn't change the way people see the person, because they don't know the person yet.

First off, the topic at hand. I don't see a particular need to change it, honestly. We've had only a few cases of people feeling like they switched genders in life, and it hasn't ever become too huge of an issue (except once, a looooong time ago), so it's not an urgent need at all. It'd mainly just serve to have people switching their genders to troll people, or to amuse themselves. That's not a good enough reason to have David code that in, when there are plenty of other priorities that are exponentially higher in urgency.

Secondly, in regards to your response to FaithFighter. I honestly don't see how you can tell him to keep 'religious crap out of this topic'. His faith is relevant to him, therefore he's allowed to say it. He isn't forcing it on you, he isn't asking you to convert, so I don't even know how this has become an issue for you. He's not shoving crap on you, you're simply responding illogically. tl;dr - relax, he's totally within his rights. Ya know, free speech and all that.

But he's saying his religion is a reason people can't change there gender on here. Reading his posts it looks like he thinks it's a Christian-only site. This isn't a topic on religion, and he kinda is by saying "I am who GOD created me to be; and I do not want to

go against that. I think the no gender change option kind of fits the

purpose of this site" that right there is shoving beliefs saying, we can't change our gender because 'god' who I don't care for, says so. People would use anything to troll, that's not a reason to not put it on here.  Freedom of speech doesn't cover things trying to take others rights away for hateful reasons. People have the right to be whatever gender they want. I don't care about his 'faith' as it has no place in this topic. Keep religion and politics separate. I made this topic as to share a suggestion, not to have a religious argument.

Sorry bud, you're really misinterpreting FaithFighter's post. He's saying that, as a Christian, He is going to stick with the gender God gave him. As a fellow Christian, he is suggesting that this may have had some influence on David's decision as well. There was no forcing, no indoctrination, but simply his own opinion and an idea on David's as well (without knowing for sure either way, and without pretending to).

As I said before, chill. You are obviously misinterpreting this, and are being quite rude about this whole thing. Even if he DID attempt to force his beliefs on you, which is far from the truth, I still would tell you to chill. No one is forcing you to read his post, so stop getting so riled up over nothing.

I think instead you should go ahead and send Davideo7 a PM asking for the change, like thephantombrain suggested.
