So what is your most frustrating game that you have ever played? Mine would have to go to the game White Knight Chronicles for the PS3. This game is an RPG, you create a character, which it turns out isn't even the main character and you don't even really have that much of an effect on the story at all. The game play is so slow, every action has around a ten second windup where you are just waiting, and its not just you, but everything, from your partners, to the enemies, and even the bosses, everything takes for ever. The story is boring as can be, typical get some superpower and avenge the king so the main character (which you aren't) can get with the princess. Boring, slow, and stupid. Don't play this game, it is bad. |

I think the most frustrating that I have ever played might have been Super Mario 64. You don't have 2 joysticks, and he keeps moving for a little bit more, even after you stopped, and it can really screw you up sometimes. |

Really good post, very unique, very thought provoking, and very inteligent, intellectually sound, and thought provoking. The worst game I ever played was the ps3 download of Mortal Kombat two, horrible controls and AI nothing like a classic series I hold deep in my heart, the name of the series is Resident Evil. Ah Resident Evil now there's a series that brings back many memories for me. I laughed, I cried, I got angry, and annoyed. The time it came out, I was quite young still in grade school, but though young the series made a lasting impact on me that I will never forget. The graphics may be horrendous now, but back then they were state of the art, I remember being scared out of my mind as a kid when I played that close to Halloween, I didnt |

I think the most frustrating game I ever played was Pokemon Crystal Kaizo because they used so much items and I think ALL Pokemon got their moveset changed but it still was fun grinding and being defeated for the actually needed time |

cabuscus: I can easily say that I have beaten Kid Icarus three times, and the game gets more and more fun as I play. Frustrating? I would hardly call it as such. A frustrating game is one that you can only improve on by pure luck and trying repeatedly until something finally clicks. A good game can be beaten successfully the first run though, as long as the player has enough patience and skill to figure out what the game wants you to do. The most frustrating game, however, is probably Mario Kart Wii. Do not get me wrong, this game is fun as all get-out, but the things that this game makes you do warrant tearing my hair out. The normal game is fine, along with the multiplayer, however annoying certain... items can get. However, what TRULY frustrates me about this game is the unlockables and the time-trials. The unlockables, usually the method of unlocking characters, occasionally involves getting a star rank on the Special Cup 150cc and Mirror tracks. (I believe the culprit here was Dry Bowser) This was monotonous to say the least, and it took me a solid MONTH to do this one simple task. Then, I learned that Star Rank was NOT the highest rank you could achieve, when I basically said "screwitimdoneimneverdoingthatagain." Other unlockables, obtained through either doing wi-fi races a couple billion times, I found my shortcuts to doing so, like using a Mario Galaxy save file to unlock Rosalina. And the Time-Trails, oh boy. Most of these are way too difficult, and can only be accomplished by either the most skilled Mario Kart players, or people like me who have more free time than they have friends. (...) And, either way, doing most of the time trials was hardly worth it, and mostly serve as bragging rights, with the exception of a few character unlockables, and I regret wasting so much of my time to doing them. Overall, if you want to play Mario Kart, just play with friends. A couple of friendships lost is more worth it than losing about two months of your life. 100% Need For Speed: Most Wanted on the (not the one that came out in 2012) PS2... This game, oh man. Some of the AI racers in the game are sooooooo fast!! like 2qwik4me, and when you try to beat a race for a many a hour, it's quite annoying. Either way though, playing this game back in 2005 was pretty awesome even though it was one of the most frustrating games I'd ever played even to this day. |

Maybe something like the Silver Surfer for the NES, not that is a horrible game. The ideas are not bad. But the execution, its just so bad - you often can't tell what is background and foreground - and any hit will kill you. You play as a silver guy on a giant surfboard and you are just one huge hitbox. Its kind of a Dr. Jekyl and Hyde thing - its just made unfun by its gameplay. |

thing1 : SM64 was one of the most frustrating games? I beat it at age eight or nine. Granted I had a guide, but I was a kid. It gave me no problems. I also hear people complain about the camera in that game but to this day I've never had a problem with it. And prior to a decent way into the PSX life, no game had two joysticks to my knowledge...
However, we all have our games and/or genres that we excel in and struggle in. I doubt I would be any good at some if the games I've seen you play, so I guess it balances out. lol Most frustrating game...I couldn't pick a single game. There have been so many games (especially retro games) that were frustrating for all the wrong reasons. My most profound disapointment was Wind Waker though. Not because it was hard, but rather because it was so much fun until they pulled that bone headed Tri-force shard map stuff. Dumbest and most frustrating way I've seen for developers to absolutely wreck a game that was so much fun otherwise. However, we all have our games and/or genres that we excel in and struggle in. This is difficult... I have broken my fair share of controllers by smashing them on the ground, so I guess you could say that I do know frustration... Umm... First of all, every Call of Duty game will make me rage to no extent . Not the campaign, the multi-player of course. I'm not going to put this at number one even though I have slammed my controller at the ground. The reason I'm not putting this at number one is I never completely broke the controller, a few tiny plastic pieces came off but it still works completely fine. I also feel like Call of Duty isn't the game I want to go with for some reason. One of the most frustrating game franchises has to be most of the Need For Speed games. Granted they are one of my favorite franchises, I've also probably broken more than a fair share of controllers because of the games . I'd probably put Need for Speed Underground at the top though if I had to choose. I was about 80% done with the game I think. The game was too easy at the beginning, and as it progressed, it got a little harder each race (obviously). It was one of my favorite games, and still is, but I also hated it at some times. It was basically a love-hate relationship . Anyway, the game had gotten so hard that I couldn't beat any of the races available, and I smashed the controller on the ground. It was a purple GameCube controller, and I'm not sure what happened to it. It might still be somewhere in my house, but what happened to it was the left trigger didn't work any more, and for a Need for Speed game, that is pretty important... jack3604: I never found Need for Speed Most Wanted to be too difficult. I did beat it (proud for that ) and I played it on my PC and on the Gamecube. I didn't beat it on the Gamecube but I got to number 4 on the blacklist before my disc stopped working. MCJungleKitty : "I have broken my fair share of controllers by smashing them on the ground"
i have never been able to understand why ANYone would let themselves lose control like that over a video game. no offense but imo if someone does that to controllers, games, or consoles then said person might want to take some time to learn to control they're anger a bit better. i've never once done anything like that myself. probably final fantasy XIII for me. where do i even begin? for starters over 4/5 of the game is literally a linear hallway. the eidolon battles are DARN near scr i did finally beat the game but only after forcing myself to do so since it always bugged me how it might be one of the few FF games i've started playing and may never finish. oh and i am NOT going back for the stupid long gui just so i can say i beat the hardest thing in the game (omega weapon? nope, in FFXIII you get to fight a uber...screw it, that thing just remotely looks like a friggin turtle). easily the worst FF game i've ever played imo. give me another final fantasy or any good game like FFXII PLEASE! (it was like an offline version of an mmorpg in a number of ways and was much more enjoyable) actually, does anyone know of any games similar to FFXII that aren't actual mmorpg games? i have never been able to understand why ANYone would let themselves lose control like that over a video game. no offense but imo if someone does that to controllers, games, or consoles then said person might want to take some time to learn to control they're anger a bit better. i've never once done anything like that myself. probably final fantasy XIII for me. where do i even begin? for starters over 4/5 of the game is literally a linear hallway. the eidolon battles are DARN near scr i did finally beat the game but only after forcing myself to do so since it always bugged me how it might be one of the few FF games i've started playing and may never finish. oh and i am NOT going back for the stupid long gui just so i can say i beat the hardest thing in the game (omega weapon? nope, in FFXIII you get to fight a uber...screw it, that thing just remotely looks like a friggin turtle). easily the worst FF game i've ever played imo. give me another final fantasy or any good game like FFXII PLEASE! treos : Haha... Well you see, I'm not very good at controlling my anger . You know that already, just saying it again . The thing is, even though I am mad to the point of throwing my controller, I don't feel like giving up hope. Of course, I usually end up losing on that time too and I go over the top and throw it or yell at my TV xD. Another part of it is that my mom is bi-polar. My brother is part bi-polar because of it and I think I've got part of it too, because I can switch moods pretty fast. If I do have part of my mom's bi-polar, then I'm making that my excuse . Haha, peace . |

MCJungleKitty : that sounds like it can get annoying sometimes. my advice would to just take a break when it gets to that point and play something...less frustrating for a while then go back to the game in question. i usually do that when a game starts getting to be a bit much for me. |

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles for the NES is one of the hardest games I've played. More specifically the water level where you can't get touched the electric seaweed, my god that level was difficult. |

The most frustrating game I've played is Mario bros. Starting back at the beginning every time you died especially when you've been playing for hours and get really far. The amount of hours I spent playing that game were a lot. |

My god there are so many and I see most of the people named a lot of them. Ok if I had to pick just one it would be Mario brothers the first one You go for a long time die and back to start. And if you don't know about the 10000 of extra men on board 3 then you could be playing this game a long time before beating it. |
