Somebody call the Super Mario Bros plumbing company, Nintendo has a problem with big leaks. Recently the Internet has been bombarded with leaks and screen shots. First, there was a recent leak about the full super smash bros roster. The newcomers included, shulk from Xenoblade chronicles, Bowser jr., and Duck-Hunt Dog? According to this leaker, this is all possible. I am personally not surprised by this "news" . In the past, we have seen Mr Game and Watch, Ice climbers, and Robotic Operating Buddy, an accessory for the Nintendo entertainment system. Sakuri could no doubt make an interesting move set for the pooch. The leaker not only had photos posted online, he had videos. The videos were mysteriously taken down by Nintendo.  If that wasn't enough, the official Mario Kart 8 website accidentally put screen shots for upcoming down loadable content for a future release of the game. The content included pictures of new characters racing alongside Mario, including Link, Villager, Isabelle, Tanooki Mario, and Cat Princess Peach. What are your thought on the leaks? I heard about the Mario Kart Stuff in chat. I think it is stupid. I think the Mario Kart Franchise should just be left alone when it comes to adding new things. I honestly think that this will hurt the Mario Kart Franchise. If they do do this, and continue to do it, I will stop supporting Mario Kart. I bought a DS a few years ago Just so I could play that Mario Kart. I got a Wii just so I could play that one. I am not buying a WiiU just to play that one. It's not happening. They are trying to do to much, and it is retarded and just wrong. 

thing1 : Psssssst let me tell you a secret... in mario kart DS R.O.B was in it. He's not a mario character. He's a plastic toy. So they have been doing it for a while. Funky kong and Diddy aren't mario characters they're donkey kong characters too.

I love the fact that they are doing this with mario kart and cant wait to play link.

onto the smash leak i think its fake. If its not im gonna murder that guy.

I think DLC for MK8 is a definitely a good thing and I like what I saw from the DLC content leak for MK8 although I would have gone with the Toon Link version instead of what seems to be the Skyward Sword version of the character.

   I've gone back and forth for most of the Smash Bros. links on whether or not I think it's real or not. Obviously, the video would be hard to fake, and with Nintendo taking any videos with the leaks in it, it's pretty compelling. And Duck Hunt Dog seems real to me as well. It seems like it's just crazy enough for nobody to think of it, but not so out of the realms of possibility (looking at you, Goku) where it's obviously a joke. And really, there isn't much to say that these aren't legit.

   With Mario Kart 8, the DLC seems to be priced decently, with $12 for the 16 tracks you'll get. The cars sound like a cool idea, and with the Yoshi and Shy Guy skins you will get for that, sounds fair to me. But with the characters, I'm not really a fan. Dry Bowser is cool, and in theory, the cat suit and Tanooki suit for Mario would be cool, but why do we need to waste another character slot with them when the Metal versions and baby versions are already there? We've already got the stupid Koopalings stealing up roster spots, and missing characters like King Boo and Diddy Kong for them seems extremely pointless.

   Now, with Link and the Animal Crossing characters, that's where I reach upset status. Why are they there? Where as Diddy Kong isn't a real "Mario" character, they have appeared together plenty of times, including the sports games like Super Sluggers. Mourin brought up R.O.B. from DS, which I thought was out of place in that game. He didn't need to be there, and like I said before, with the characters that can be better related to Mario games, Animal Crossing and Link do not come to mind. 

   While I still think this is good DLC, because you still get brand new tracks as well as remastered ones, and more cars like the returning Blue Falcon, which considering the art style of it made it fit perfectly in Mario Kart 8, making it pretty unrecognizable unless you know the F-zero franchise. 

   And on a different note, Nintendo has proven that maybe over the years, Mario and Luigi really have dones plumbing work. We're just seeing some missed leaks now. Get back to work, bros.

Here's my opinion on the Smash Bros. leaks.

I have heard about the Mario Kart 8 DLC on Smashboards, but I was not aware that it was accidentally leaked. Back when I used Miiverse a lot, I talked a lot about how cool it would be if there was a Mario Kart game with characters from other franchises (I especially wanted Captain Falcon to be in Mario Kart). So naturally, I like that they're doing this DLC. Diddy Kong? I never used him, but I'm just really glad he's in. He fit so well into Mario Kart Wii even though he's not a Mario character. Link? Even cooler. Villager and Isabelle? Eww. Villager is fine in Smash Bros. because he has a really cool moveset, but why Mario Kart? It's Animal Crossing, what does that have to do with racing? Then there's Isabelle... Why? Just why?

I think the leaks are on purpose, because they want the hype before the games... But they want rumors going around, just to keep people talking. The link in Mario Kart is just wrong, because he isn't even in the same world. Mario DK, Diddy Kong etc are all people who started out on Mario. And the Mario spoof characters are the same... That's my personal input.

Also why would nintendo fire the guy if it was on purpose. and that made me less hyped for the game and for many people because they knew who was gonna be in it. Like the last trailer they shown would have people sooooooooo excited if we didnt know it was coming
