This is something I've always wondered, do famous people use vizzed? How many? How often?

Whether it be internet celebrities, hollywood celebrities, or athletes, there's a good chance that some have used vizzed and maybe use it often. I have no proof of this and have never confirmed that anyone famous has ever used the site but based on the amount of traffic Vizzed gets, there's a good chance and here's why:

20+ million unique people in the world have used the site in the past 10 years, 13+ million of that from the United States. The United States population is just under 314 million which means more than 4% of the United State's population has used the site at some point in their life and 1.5% have used it more than once. This means that 1 out of every 25 Americans has used the site which is incredible.

What do you guys think?

That's a really good question david.....you know that's a mystery in a way. Maybe some have you can never know. some can ninja their way onto the site without giving their name, due them being famous or whatnot. I dunno.....just a thought. But, I would like to see a famous person use vizzed, because it would be cool and yet surprising in a way. ^-^

I'm sure some famous people have visited the site at least once. I don't think said famous people would publically go out and say that they visited Vizzed.com, but it is a feasible assumption that some celebs or athletes have used the site.

Davideo7 : Well, I'm not famous sadly, but that sounds like a really cool statistic. Maybe there has been at least one celebrity that has come over this site (who knows). I think the statistic shows that a lot of different people visit the site and maybe this site could become also a place where different professions could meet up and do business with each other since of the public forums and communication ways that people can talk to each other on vizzed. Hopefully someone famous uses the site that way if they feel like advertising themselves though it, it would give this site more different people that come to this site .

Davideo7 : By the stats you mentioned, they would be a possibility of a famous person used this site sometime in their lifetimes. Look, in those 10 years with nearly 1.2 billion views, you can bound that they would at least be one sometime in those 10 years. Also, you mention that it's hard to keep up on who gets on the site, which I understand (it's hard to keep track of hundreds of people on at once).

megamanmaniac : That is true, you even rarely hear them say that they use Facebook and/or Twitter, and those sites are always talked about, so what do you think they would used a random site like Vizzed.

IgorBird122 : I agree with you, many celebs are on Facebook and Twitter and you rarely hear those people about it so maybe there are celebs at this site. I don't think they would make an account though, they would be sure to be guests and make sure that they don't get too much attention around them.

It is pretty cool to hear that 1 of 25 Americans use Vizzed, how cool is that? Do you have an idea how many Dutch accounts there are on Vizzed David? It is an interesting idea to think about the idea of having super famous people play retro games on Vizzed

I'm fairly certain at least one noteworthy person has at least HEARD of vizzed. With those numbers, it's pretty much guarrenteed.

As for being a user, i'm pretty sure a notweworthy person has been a user, though most likely not an active one.

I know of one, actually. He's a freaking awesome guy, and definitely famous. I really admire his humility most of all, he really has worked to make that quality stand out in himself.

Oh, forgot to mention who it is. The guy's username is mrfe. He's ridiculously humble and famous, you should talk to him.

I don't know, David. I never really thought about it. I mean, you would think that with those kind of statistics, you would have to assume that some people have visited the site... 

Out of that 4% and the 1.5% numbers, how many have made an account? Do you have access to those numbers?

thing1 : I'm not sure how many Americans have made accounts but there are 495,000+ accounts. If I were to take a guess, I'd say 320,000 of those accounts are American accounts. Based on that statistic, 1 out of 1000 Americans have an account on Vizzed (or 0.1%).

When you think about it, the number of members that this site has is pretty low considering how much traffic the site gets. I need to find more ways to get users to sign up.

juuldude : 429,409 people from the Netherlands have used Vizzed which is actually a lot considering the country only has around 16 million people.

Does it count if I'm not world famous yet (but am going to be)?

Davideo7 : maybe do promo periods? Sign up during this time, get X amount of extra viz, and an item of your choosing under X amount? 

Me, nine out of ten active members of the Vizzed board know my name, therefore I must clearly be famous, any argument is invalid because this is a close-minded and intentionally arrogant approach to the threads question meant in a joking and playfully delusional matter with a valid point, most members likely know my name.

I bet at least 1 famous person has used or seen this site in their lifetime. Honestly, though, if a celebrity did use this site and try to say their identity, nobody would believe them. I mean if a newbie signs up claiming he's Jimmy Kimmel would you believe him?
