Well to honest I missed most of it the party I went to was chaotic and we only watched 4 minutes of it so I was wondering what happened and it would be nice to know.

I went to my friend's house and stayed there till about 12:20. We were in his basement playing Mario Kart: Double Dash! when I looked at my watch and realized that New Year's happened 5 minutes ago at the time. (pun not intended)

I saw the ball drop during the last thirty seconds of the year. The only reason I saw it was because my mom and stepdad forced me to come and spend time with them (that I did not mind much). I don't mind the ball drop interesting..

I didn't see the ball drop this time. I never really cared if I did or not. I was counting down on here so I could spam people with "HAPPY NEW YEAR!" though.

   Considering nobody had decided to bother to awake me from my nap, I had missed the descending of the crystal ball of New Years'. How rude had that been?

I always watch it. ALWAYS. 
If there's some event I need to go to, resulting in missing the year ball drop:
I record it on my DVR. (It's not live, but at least I get to see it!)

So yeah, I saw it this year.
Although my dad didn't wake up, so he missed all of it.

I did watch the ball drop. However I didn't see the show that was on before it.

Yes, I watched the last fifteen minutes of 2013. I usually watch it, but this was the first time in a few years that I saw it from my actual time zone (server time). 

Basically I didn't see the exact time for when the bomb dropped. I am vizzed time Central.. and I was a couple of minutes late saying Happy New Year to some in chat .. I think it happens a lot when you are focusing on something else.

Yeah I did actually, I watched it a while until they counted down the last  minute of the new year.I usually watch when they do this every year, it was really cold where they were doing it, but that wasn't enough to stop the masses of people to come and watch it happen anyway, so I think that it was a really exciting event and I watched the last minute or so of 2013 tick by....it was a very exciting and enjoyable 60 seconds. Happy  new year everyone.

I was there, and to be honest, I did not really like it. It is so much easier to just watch it at home. Most of the streets closed at 3PM which meant that my friend and I had to find a good spot before then. Luckily, we finished all of our museum visits by noon, so we were able to get a spot literally half a block in from of the spot.

We were not allowed to move from our spot which is one of the reasons I did not like it, we had to go in there prepared with two footlong  sandwiches each from Subway and three bottles of water. Let's not forget that we could not use the bathroom the entire time, and by 11PM, we were both dead tired.

There were a few really good performances and then the ball dropped. I'm really glad that it's just once a year, or I would have told my self that I would never go again. But aside from those inconveniences, it was a night to remember.

Unfortunately, I didn't get to see the ball drop this year unlike every other year.

I haven't seen the ball drop in a long time i'm usally passed out or been busy with other things but I also don't find it intresting

I did watch the ball drop on New Years Eve/New Years Day, and since I was at a friend's house, the adults cracked open bottles of champagne right at the second it turned from 11:59 to 12:00. It was pretty exciting, and a whole new year was beginning. I hope 2014 isn't as bad as 2013.
