All that talk of apocalypse and specters was just too much excitement for my noob mind to comprehend, it was lights out the moment I got to my room.

As everybody fought over cabins... virtually identical, s***ty cabins, with poor plumbing and no food... you know the type. Leaky roofs, creaky floorboards, poop on the walls... where was I?

Oh yeah, the fighting. As everybody fought over insignificant details into the night, several people started plotting their kill sprees. Because it ain't an apocalypse if no one tries to kill anyone else, right?

Several things happened, but the first to fall last night, and in this game (admittedly, very predictably), was silverthundr. He was the Mafia Governor. What a shame. Could have been a vital asset in a game where the game can be swung with a lynch at the right time! One can only hope the Mafia didn't shoot him... right?

But he wasn't the only one to fall victim to the bullet, as there were two other deaths in the night.

No, as a matter of fact, Fallman7 was also sent off to la-la land, to do whatever it is people there do. He was the Insomniac, so he might ACTUALLY be grateful for being killed off. Or not, I can't wait to see his reacti... oh right, he's dead. Dead people don't HAVE reactions. Silly me.

Oh right, there was one more death. How silly of me to forget. I'm the narrator, and I'm forgetting details like deaths? I must be getting rusty.

Last, and possibly not least, Singelli was also declared dead before day broke. With her social networking prowess, the announcement of her death was almost instantaneously after her death itself. And for good reason. She was the Sheriff.

So the town AND the mafia both suffered major casualties last night. A governor, a sheriff, and an insomniac. Quite a cast of characters. But now they all share the same role, Dead Guy.

I will remind the dead to NOT SPEAK. Nothing gets on my nerves more than when dead people don't stay dead. This is your only warning. If you speak in this thread after your death, I will keep note. This thread gets spammed enough without dead people clouding it up more.

Anyway, enough of that.

Leggy returned to the town in the morning, as everybody had received news of the deaths from last night. Several were distraught, but most were indifferent. They expected silverthundr to be dead, and some wondered if there was a Doctor who could have saved him, but ultimately, are glad he didn't, if he exists. Because you know. Mafia is not friends with the Town. Fallman7 wasn't a surprise either, but his reasons for death were likely far different. So nobody could blame the killer, whether good or bad. And Singelli... nobody knew where that came from.

As they discussed, Leggy finally spoke.

"So... you see now, we have 26 players left, after the first night. That's still a large portion, is it not? Let's thin the numbers further."

He had a wicked grin... and then he was gone.

So there it is. NOW WE ARE IN THE DAY ROUND. I REPEAT, WE ARE IN THE DAY ROUND.

Here's how the day rounds work.

You have 72ish hours (3 days) to vote on who you think should die next. Remember, the town's goal is to get rid of mafia/bad guys. The mafia's goal is to discreetly get rid of town/other bad guys, and save their own asses.

You vote by either declaring the player's name in caps (EX - I vote SILVERTHUNDR) or in bold text (EX - I vote silverthundr. The point is, I have to know you explicitly mean to vote for the player you chose.

You may change your vote as many times as you wish within the next 3 days. However, I must be very clear about one rule that isn't on the rule sheet. Do not ever edit a post during the day round. This is for my sake, as I keep a running tally. I go back and check the posts before making the decision final, but it is simply easier if you don't edit your posts.

Anyway, any questions can be directed to me, I'm only saying this once because we have a LOT of new comers here.

So yeah, 72ish hours until the day round is over.

I apologize, I got too lazy to capitalize the username's that are supposed to be capitalized (and if I made any spelling errors, I'm really sorry!).

But why does having the highest post count in this thread mean anything? Well, people in Innocent Town are supposed to be scared out of their minds due to the apocalypse and the mafia game being played. However, we were more concerned about what room we had or what there was to eat.

This is what made the mafia angry. They wanted us to squirm in fear about the oncoming deaths, not complain about our dingy rooms! The mafia started to get irritated, especially to the one who caused the most ruckus, which would be Fallman7. That's why (in my opinion) he was one of the few people who did not get to see another day...

But why sonicmcmuffin? Well, simply because he was one of the people who showed his irritation on this thread.

Now let me clarify why i was irritated. It was still the TDV month, meaning people post pointless stuff for nothing more than post count... any other months that aren't TDV i'd be totally fine with the poor RP we was subjected to... (it's just something that urks me from when i used to be a mod)

Also. It's nice not to be mafia for once.... being on the town side means i can actually relax and take it easy. 

but go ahead... vote for me if you want.. it's only going to make it harder for the town.

I will say this however, there maybe more than just one mafia and town team... the amount of participants easily warrants at least 3 factions in this game.. and it's the sort of thing leggy will and has done before... so please keep that in mind.

Basically, a Mafia Governor has the ability to change the outcome of any day round lynch. They can have somebody else lynched or they can have nobody lynched.

Essentially, it could have come in handy later in the game if there was a low ratio.

Oh my god you did not just put the RP into your voting strategy.  I really hope you aren't soft claiming, because that would be a terrible time to soft claim.
