Hello everyone, This is TornadoMudkip with a new Review.
This is my 8th Review, please enjoy. This time about Pokémon Crystal.

Start: Game Information from Pokémon Crystal:
Generation: Generation II
Players: 1 Player and 2 Players only if you Trade.
Platform: Gameboy Color (GBC)
Category: RPG
Developer: Game Freak
Publisher: Nintendo, The Pokémon Company
Pokémon Crystal is released at the year 2000 in Japan. (2001 World wide)
Pokémon Crystal is the sixth Main series Game from Pokémon, the third game of Generation II and the updated version of Pokémon Gold and Pokémon Silver.
This Game featured the new region, Johto, Johto is geographically similar to the Kansai in Japan.
Hundred new Pokémon were introduced in the Game. (Also in Pokémon Gold and Silver)
This is also the first Pokémon Game where you can play a Female Character. (Her Name is Kris)
You get to choose one of three starter Pokémon from the local Pokémon expert: Professor Elm.
In tradition, the three Pokémon are a Grass-type, Water-type, or Fire-type Pokémon.
Cyndaquil - The Fire-type Pokémon.
Totodile - The Water-type Pokémon.
Chikorita - The Grass-type Pokémon.
All of them are good Pokémon to start, because they all have good things like Chikorita has a high defence and Cyndaquil has very good moves and Totodile has a high attack etc.
And once again, Team Rocket are the featured villains in the games. With the disappearance of their leader Giovanni, Team Rocket restarts their goal of stealing Pokémon over the world, starting in Johto.
You will run into them several times throughout the course of the game, as they plot numerous plans and schemes...
Pokémon Crystal also gained notoriety as the first main series game to feature animations for Pokémon, and has a unique storyline involving the Beast Pokémon: Suicune.
Suicune is Main Legendary Pokémon of this Game. (You can see that on the Box)
In this Game a new character called Eusine is introduced as a little-Rival to the Player of this Game.
He is seeking Suicune, and will fight the player to earn Suicune's respect.
And also two new types of Pokémon were introduced, Dark-type and Steel-type Pokémon. 
This is the only Game that has new Types into the Game, until now...
This game contains the basic that a Pokémon game has, like catch all of the Pokémon and complete the Pokédex, which is 251 Pokémon in total in this Game + becoming the new Champion.
The Male Player is look like Ethan/Gold and the Female Player is look like Kris. The Rival is look like Silver.
And like always, you can get a Free Potion at the Begin!

First the Graphics:
First the Graphics: The games looks good, the Houses, Trainers, Gyms, Locations like a Caves and much more!
Pokémon Sprites are good Designed and not to Big or Small! I like them, most of the Pokémon are looking cool and cute, like Totodile.
The new thing is: Within a Battle, Pokémon sprites are animated. That's looking cool because that is look like real life. (When we make a move)
The Trainers are looking Nice too, they have cool and cute outfits!
The Colours of the Pokémon's are better then from the previous Pokémon Games. (Like Red and Blue, Gold and Silver etc.)
The Graphics are the almost the same as Gold and Silver, nothing more to say.
Through the Cool Colours in the Game everywhere and Cheerful (Pokémon's, Locations like a Caves) , the Graphics are good for me,
I'll give a 8.

Second the Sound: The Sound is good.
Into this Game are awesome Battle Music and Route themes, well I like that because the Sound is so Classic.
Each Location that you traveled (City's, a Forest etc.) gave a little Tune for you to enjoy, that is just Nice! 
What I also want to say is, that this Sound is unique. I like that kind of Sound.
The Pokémon Cry's are fine by me. Some are not Nice to hear, to high Sound...
Also I don't like the Music of Ruins of Alph, it's just to creepy to hear...
I'll give a 9 for this Good Sound.

Third the Addictiveness: That is just the best part of this Game. This Game is really fun to play!
If you Lose a Battle you can try it again. If you beat the Elite Four + the new Champion, you can try it again. (Never Give Up + Burning Spirit.)
You can always try to Catch all of the Pokémon. You can do a lot and automatic you play this Game again and again!
You can really enjoy this Game! Because all of the things what to do in this Game.
The Best part of this Game is that this Game has 2 Regions to play (Kanto and Jotho)! That makes this Game more fun and longer, I like that. 
Johto's routes start where Kanto left off: routes in Johto are numbered 29-48, where Kanto's are 1-28.
Because of this Super part, I'll give a 10, it deserves it!

Fourth the Story: The Story is amazing as well!
In Pokémon Crystal you follow the original story of training yourself  to become the very best Trainer in the Region/World!
You can be if you defeat the all of the Gyms and the Elite Four + Champion and Catching all of the Pokémon is your Job.
The Johto League is the greatest aspiration of all Trainers, because they are neighboring Regions. (Jotho and Kanto)
Johto and Kanto share the same Elite Four, located at Indigo Plateau.
One Badge from each Johto Gym is required to enter.
You can challenge your Rival as you go on your Adventure, which is Silver in this Game
Because it's your Rival, you need to beat him, if you're going to Battle Silver.
Your Rival is not very Strong but like always your Rival chooses the Pokémon where you are weak against: If you choose Cyndaquil then your Rival chooses Totodile etc.
In this Game you can defeat 8 Gyms and you can earn Badges! + you can beat Team Rocket in this Game.
Team Rocket is back and wants to steal a lot of Pokémon again.
They return to Johto three years later. In Azalea Town, they threaten to cut off Slowpoke tails and sells them. When the Player of this Game reaches the Lake of Rage he/she will discover that Team Rocket was behind the Red Gyarados incident, and will join forces with Lance in an attempt to pull the plug. Team Rocket is eventually defeated, and in a last resort they take over the radio tower and hope to contact Giovanni, but how will that end? (If you want to know that, play this Game! )
The Story is one of the best things, it deserves a 10 as well!

Fifth the Depth: This Game is pretty long!
It's perfectly for a good length of a Game. I like that.
Like what I said before in the Story: You can defeat 8 Gyms and Elite Four + Champion and much more! < Like in a Original Pokémon Game. (Red, Blue, Yellow, Gold, Silver.)
Within Pokémon Crystal you beat the Elite 4... then you head to another Region: Kanto, and you can get 8 More Badges, and get a chance to face the toughest Trainer in the whole Pokémon World! (Red, he looks like Ash from the Anime...)
A lot to do, in this Game as you can see.
Breeding is also fun. Breeding Pokémon to get good IV's, special Egg Voves, and Pokemon got only through breeding was another great part of Pokemon Crystal. (If you have a Ditto, you can easy Breed.)
Because there are two Regions in this Game, this Game is longer then Red, Blue (Green) and Yellow.
The Game offers are good, until you've beaten the Elite Four + Champion AND Red, then you can only do: catch all of the Pokémon and find every Item. (Which looks impossible for me )
I'll give a 10.

Sixth Difficulty: Sixth Difficulty: This Game isn't hard to beat! Why? Because the most Trainers aren't really strong.
If you're a Starter to Pokémon, this Game suits perfectly for you! Because you can learn a lot about Pokémon in this Game. (You start easy etc.)
Even if you're someone who loves/known to Pokémon! This Game is fun, because this Game has more news like you can play as a Female Character, and you see a lot of new Pokémon!
Everyone loses sometimes a Battle! That's okay because if you don't give up you can win this Game!
I'm also giving a Tip to you all:  The best advice that I can give you is to try and go with a well Balanced Pokémon Team (Different Pokémon Types in your Pokémon Game), so you don't have one opponent causing you trouble! Just if you want to play easy!
I'll give a 6 for this part.

Some Changes: (They're also into Pokémon Gold and Silver)
- This Games featured the new region, Johto, Johto is geographically similar to the Kansai in Japan.
- Hundred new Pokémon were introduced in the Game.
- A time system was introduced, allowing certain Pokémon to appear at certain times, and events to occur on certain days.
- Pokémon could now hold items.
- A new item, PokéGear, allows the usage of a clock, cell/mobile phone, and radio.
- Specialized Poké Balls were introduced, allowing easier catching for specific types of Pokémon. (Like a Lure Ball, with this you can catch easier Water Pokémon)
- Two new types of Pokémon were introduced, Dark-type and Steel-type Pokémon.
- The ability to breed Pokémon was introduced.
- A virus called "Pokérus", which infects a Pokémon allowing its experience to double, that is pretty handy.
- Shiny Pokémon debuted in these games, but they'e hard to find.
- Backwards connectivity was introduced, allowing trades with previous games.

Some new things in Crystal:
- A new radio show, Buena's Password, was added.
By remembering a specific password used on Buena's show, you can talk to her in the Radio Tower and recieve points.
These points can be reedeemed for prizes. 
- The Dragon's Den has been expanded and the hut is now enterable.
To recieve the Rising Badge, you player must chase Clair to the den after the battle and speak to the Dragon Clan elder, Clair's Grandfather. He quizzes the player and, if all answers are correct, the Player of this Game will obtain the Rising Badge and you get a Dratini that knows Extremespeed. (I like Dratini's! )
- The Ruins of Alph contained more common Unown and had a new subplot, where completing puzzles allowed the player to find hidden messages left by the Unown...
- Pokémon Crystal was the first game to feauture semi-moving Pokémon sprites.
This later appeared in Generation III and the Generation IV games, it was then transitioned fully to full moving Pokémon sprites in Generation V.
- Pokémon Crystal was the first Pokémon game to let you choose between a Male and Female Character. (Ethan/Gold or Kris)

Some facts about the Jotho Region:
- Johto shares its Pokémon League, Storage System developer, and villainous team with Kanto. 
- All of the cities in Johto are named after plants.
- It's the only region when Ash Ketchum did not meet a new travelling companion. (Like May and Dawn)
- Johto also has the shortest Victory Road, even though it resides in the Kanto region.
- The terrain of Johto is similar to that of Kanto, with a jagged mountain range in the north-east, descending to a boundless ocean in the South-West.
- Also they have both a place where you must use Surf to come there: Cianwood City and Cinnabar Island.
- Until the release of Kalos in Generation VI, Johto was the only region without the letter 'N' in its name.
- Johto was the first region to introduce areas to Plant Berries.

Overall: This Game is Great to play! 
Many Pokémon Fans are thinking this is the best Pokemon game, I think also so, this Game is really good!
All what I said above is what I think about this Game!
I played this Game on my GBA, even on there the Game looks Great!
If I was you, you should try this Game, it's worth Playing.

I'll rate this Game a 9,3, it deserves it for sure!

TornadoMudkip: Interesting review, a lot of words I must say and I give you 2118 credit points for it. (see what I did there, okay ..).

I will give positive and negative comments on this review, in chronological order!  

This review was pretty long and you went into great detail of where the game was based and situated. This isn't really what you're supposed to write about in a review because it's basically telling us it's heritage. You told us what generation, when it was created, the company that made, none of which really are necessary in a review.  You also started by telling us what Pokémon were in the game and how many there was, I really didn't like that, sorry. It seemed like it was copied off of somewhere, which could be wrong but it's just my opinion. You mentioned the story in great depth before you even got to that section, so it was pretty disappointing and you should have just got straight into the review. (you even wrote that on my review and you didn't do it yourself!) Taking out all of that unneeded content, your review is roughly 1600 words.

I really enjoyed the opening to your Graphics section, it was similar to mine, you told us what you were going to be discussing before writing which kept me interested, this would also keep younger users happy too as it lets them know what they're going to be reading and therefore their attention span will be greater. I agree with your rating of 8 for the graphics!

You went into detail on sound and that was really good. I like the fact that you stated the sound was classic, because it's exactly what I thought of the sounds in that game too. You didn't tell us how you felt when listening to the music, which personally I thought was disappointing.

You went into great detail in the addictiveness section which I am pleased to see, you inspire me to play this game! You used very persuasive words and techniques in this section.

I've sort of dragged on in  this review.

Overall, I think this review is extremely excellent and you should definitely continue writing them because I can definitely see a future for you in writing. I hope you take on board what I have said and work on it as it will make you stronger in the long run. I still have to read the rest of this, after my dinner of course.

TornadoMudkip : I hate to tell you this, because I know you worked hard on it, but you included far too much information from other sources and not enough of your own original content. This is more along the lines of a walkthrough. For it to be considered a review, you need to include very little information from other sources, if any at all, and be sure to cite your references if you do. A lot of the information you provided could have been avoided by simply giving a link where others could go to read it. If you cut out everything but your original content, there isn't a great deal of personal opinion or reasoning left.
