Welcome everyone to another Netplay tournament! And this time I am planning on making it until the end!
If you remember, I had created a thread to vote for a game on a list I created, and the game chosen with 4 votes were Monopoly!
The gameplay mode (1vs1, 1vs1vs1, 1vs1vs1vs1, etc) will be decided according on how many people sign up, prizes will also vary according to amount of participants.
You probably remember that on my failed plan I asked for a entry fee of 5,000 right? This time the entry fee will be 500 Viz.

If you happen to find the same game with very similar graphic, sounds and etc, but for the SNES, please tell me, since that version is better (the sound, graphics, and delay is better).
You are free to play any Monopoly game you wish, NES, Gen, SNES, whatever, as long the game is Monopoly, I  there is no problems.

Please stop summoning me to all of your threads. I'm really getting quite fed up with it, honestly. The first two or three times I get, but now? It's frankly unnecessary and overall annoying.

But to answer the question, no, I am not interested in playing, Nya~.

the monopoly for genesis really blows. it is crazy slow and that really takes away from the competitiveness of the game.

I suggest you make it for the nes version instead. It is very straightforward.

bobq : That's why I asked people to findfor me another version of this game, if I remember right, it was from the SNES, but Vizzed don't have it, the game was very similar to this game.

When I first played the NES version, the game was very confusing, I'll see what I can do.

keep in mind that snes doesnt work for some people (like me) and n64 also doesnt work for some people.

you can't play game boy, colour or advanced on netplay. That leaves nes and genesis.

There is also sega master system, which I have not tried yet, I have no idea if that would work on netplay, Ill see.

I am in. Personally, I think the Monopoly on the Nintendo 64 is better, but whatever. I am in, either way. Viz is being sent shortly.

I tested the sega master system, it is identical to the nes monopoly.

The problem is that SNES netplay doesn't work for some people.

Genesis version is fine for me or any other version.

Monopoly has this stupid thing where all available players can be controlled by player 1's controller. You're almost better off having 1 neutral player host the game and everybody else (up to six at once) be spectators and use good communication skills to have the neutral player play out the outcome of the game. You may not need this if you do just 1v1 (and the hosts aren't jerks about it), but any matches that are bigger should play by this method. I don't know for certain if this applies to the NES version (I'd be amazed if it didn't. as how would you have 6 player support), but I do know it applies to the Genesis version, as I did own the game at one point.

That said, I believe in the other thread I said I would pass on this, despite submitting a vote. So... why was I summoned here again?

If you need me as a neutral player, I don't mind being that guy. I could stream the game through my Twitch channel and have the players in chat tell me what they'd like to do, or even make use of Skype if the participants have it. The only day I wouldn't be able to do it on is this Saturday and potentially this Sunday, as I have other plans made that could literally take more than 24 hours to get through. Other dates will depend on the date and time, as college is a higher priority. For the next couple weeks, anything after 6 PM EDT should be okay though.

Well if the above is true, then this could be annoying. either way, I'll try to get on. I can't do Tuesdays Wednesdays or Fridays, because I have dates with my girlfriend then, and we normally stay together till it's 2-3 am my time (aside from Wednesdays). Depending on the time difference, it's possible for me to do Saturdays and Mondays.

I am in but I am going job-searching soon and I will try to find time for this.
Saturdays and Sundays are the best days for my match.
But Monday-Friday I can play my match 5:00 PM-10:00 PM
I cannot play Monday-Friday 11:00 PM-5:00 PM
Saturdays and Sundays I am free all day.

Jordanv78 : Thanks for telling me, when I saw the screenshots of the game, I thought the game was different, because the screenshots on the game are wrong, but that's the game I were looking for, thank you Jordan.

About the controller glitch, the way we will be playing depends in various factors.

1 - The amount of people that signs up.
2 - The possibility of other joining Netplay sessions with more than 2 people.
3 - How the competitiors want this tournament to happen.

Ugh. Recently I had been having the feeling I have been doing a lot of wrong choices.

Anyway, if people don't support Netplay in SNES they can just play in Gens, I for example, my screen freezes sometimes when playing on SNES, but since this game isn't an Action game, it would not be a big problem for me.

The competitors can pick the SNES or Gens version, particularly, I like the SNES better, like I said, better graphics, sound and piece movement, but people may not be able to play it, but on Gens people are able to Netplay it, but the game have worse graphics, sound and the games takes longer to do for example, the movement of the piece on the board.
The console it's up to the players choice, some may play on Gens and others may play on SNES.

Too time consuming, I wont have time to participate. Why not do the NES version?

Davideo7 : Hmm... well, I'll update the first post and say that people are free to play any of the versions, as long the game is Monopoly, for me everything is fine.
It makes me wonder if there is a Monopoly Deal (Monopoly in cards only) ROM around Vizzed...

Seishiro Leonhart : Actually, that's a great idea. SNES is the prefered version but if it SNES doesn't work for all the people playing, than they can pick Genesis version and if it's more than 2 people playing, than they can pick the NES version.
