This is not in any way meant to be a criticism of anything on Vizzed or anyone here please be mindful of this when posting here.

My question refers more to downsizing, sometimes when things become successful they get larger and larger and expand and expand getting unnecesarly larger and losing sight and vision of what they once were.

Vizzed is currently expanding and contracting, who here remembers and also mourns the loss of the excellent retro cartoon room, I do and have never ventured into the Video Game Room beta, in fact I do not even know what it is, but that may be for a different thread.

So what feature on Vizzed would you not mind losing, then the managerial aspect of this could be diverted to something else.

anyway what do you think, what are your thoughts?

Totts : Hmm, something I wouldn't miss would probably be the Video Game Room. While it's great, I don't use it much. Also, honestly, if you want to know everything about any game, you can just ask 'the google'. lol. That or maybe the Flash games. I hope we don't lose either of those though...

I'd love to see the bottom 50% of posters go away.

Spam is annoying.

Probably the video game room. I never go there so i dont really care. 

I honestly have to agree with everyone ('cept Leggy) on the topic of not caring about the loss of the video game room. The only reason I would go there is to make a review on a certain game. I never visit there, too.

I wouldn't miss a lot of the Forums/Subforums around here that pretty much filled with spam. The Pokemon thread comes to mind.

Honestly I would prefer a whole lot less spam in general, but I guess that kinda goes without saying.

Huh, I never noticed the Video Game Room. Here, I thought people were referencing the Retro Game Room, which I was about to protest, haha! I might check that out more often, once I finish up playing some games on my 3DS

I certainly would not miss the Chat Room should it disappear; I prefer using the message boards, private messages, and profile walls over that. Downsizing the Item Shop would be nothing to miss either, as the battle features have not come out yet, so there would be nothing to miss.

I actually do find myself agreeing with Legacy a little; I certainly would not miss some of the more obvious spammers we have been getting this Tour De Vizzed, or users with just bad attitudes and nothing to contribute.

I have to say that I'd miss the chat room the least - it has the least to contribute to Vizzed, now or in the future. The VGR at least has the potential to be the greatest, truest database of knowledge regarding video games. The chat room, however? It just attracts bad activity.

It would have to be the flash games. Why would I play them here, where I have games that are 100x better than them. I somehow found them once, tried them for about two seconds, and never went back.

Only One? 

There are a few that I wouldn't mind disappearing.

The flash games, The Arcade (It's just flash versions of famous arcade games) The Pokémon Forum, Item Shop... and the "Board" link above the site's banner. Why do we need it? It's enough with clicking the banner itself...



 

The one thing I would not miss at all from Vizzed is the Video Game Room because if you want to find information about any Game you can just look on Google and Wikipedia.

Any and All things and people who have more than 3-5 Pokemon Games, Threads, Statements, and Reviews. I started 3 R.PG. games in here (the kind that might take 100 hours to complete) that I have yet to find the time to finish. I find it hard to believe anyone in here has more than 1000 hours of game time to devote to constantly pointing and clicking multiple choice test style games before they die of boredom. How could anyone survive more than ten games of the cursed series is beyond me, but they keep popping up and spraying their undying love of fake rodents that imitate tazers. I can do without those people being here.

Cool is not always popular folks.

Real Players have a list of games they have completed or games they intend on completing. Not a string of games they think are popular.

I am tired of all the non gamers in game sites is what I am saying. Casual gamers are O.K.
Random Mood Gamers are fun too. (Kinda like people who only learned how to play one song on an instrument and claim to be a musician).
BUT
Non gamers listing crap that makes it obvious they don't play is really getting on my nerves.
Who are these guys and why are they here?

Other than that I get tired of people mentioning the cover box art characters as their favourites all the time.
I like the main characters too. But there has to be someone that interested you to put more than ten hours of game time in that product.
Please give me some personality.

Normally I don't answer these sort of questions, but I have noticed a few trends that are alarming. (Given certain "Stats" in the papers. Of Course.)

A list of things I wouldn't miss:

- The RGR (though the forum would be worse without it, so this is just a hypothetical situation)
- The VGR
- Members who think it's their job to PM me and think every thread closing or warning I make is some sort of moral debate
- All the spam
- All the people who are terrible and banned for it, but rereg 80,000 times only to bother the mods and continue getting banned. Go away.

I'm sure there's more, but that's enough.

To be honest, the subforums and the Vizzed layout maker. I'd be fine keeping either one if they were improved, but based on the way they function now I'd rather not have them at all.

The video room. I really never used that much.

What I would miss least are the annoying spammers and otherwise disruptive members who lower the overall community of this forum.

I definitely wouldn't miss all the Pokemon hacks / home-brews...
They make it some what difficult to browse the RPG category for the retro game room and I'd rather play an original rather than a hack
but that's just me.
