So, I've noticed there is a lack of avid photography lovers out there!  Maybe you're just in the woodwork and I have to urge you to show some color!  Oh, I know!  How about a competition????

That's right folks.... Here is a chance for YOU to show off your mad skills!  Here are the rules:

Rules:
1.  Each person can submit three photos.  When you submit them, be sure they are re - sized so that the screen does not stretch horizontally.  If you don't re- size them if needed, you will be disqualified.  (Sorry, but I have a small screen, and it's THAT annoying to me.)  If you're not sure how to re- size your photo, pm me and I'll help you out!

2. This must be a photo YOU have taken.  Not one you pulled off the web.  If it is discovered that ANY of your submitted photos were not actually taken by you, you will be disqualified.

3. The deadline is February 14, 2013.  Any submissions after this date will not be accepted.  This gives you THREE weeks to get a great photo!

4.  The photo should be a recent one.  I'd prefer if you took the photo during the three weeks, but if you can't manage that, at least make sure the photo was taken within the last year.

5.  All photos must be family friendly.


What can you win?  Other than personal satisfaction?  (*gasp* That's not enough for you?!)
Alright, I guess I can chip in a prize or two.  

Second Prize: 3,000 viz!

Third Place: 1,000 viz!

I will let anyone chip in with a vote once all photos are submitted.  There will also be a voting board who submits votes, but their votes will count for twice as much.  If you'd like to be a judge, just let me know via pm.

It can be any type of photo, as long as you took it and it's family friendly.  

And darth, sure.  I trust you to be unbiased.

Singelli : I'll help judge no problem. Photography isn't really my area though. If it were a writing contest I'd be more qualified. I am a writer after all...

Hmm... if you need me as a judge, I suppose I could do it. I'm not much of a photographer myself, so I wasn't going to be able to make an entry into the contest anyway.

Singelli : You know I will help. I would enter myself, but I am all about editing images and making new artwork from them, rather than actually taking pictures. If edited images and graphic artwork counted, I would totally be in.

Thanks to the people that said they would help judge the entries.  Now I just need more of them (the entries). Haha.

Zack, maybe if this goes well, I'll do another one that will be for edited images.
