I would like to apply to article writer and  walkthough writer if you pick me I would want to be a walkthough writer. Now  a little about my self my self I am 13 (don't say you cant join cause your 13 because on your post you said you need to be 13 years old and older therefore I am  eligible for the job), I love playing Pokémon hacks, I was a co writer on the blog Ubuntu Linux Help Guy which got canceled, I love emulation, and I love all handheld games. Both of you, in order to even be considered for the post, must submit two articles or 1 walkthrough for us to look and see if you have the ability to perform well in your job.  So far, we have not seen one little bit of your work, and you guys have less than 5 post each (not a requirement, but means you have not had time to do a walkthrough or a article).  So, if you would like to be considered, please type up and show us one of the two items (for walkthrough writer and article writer) in order to be considered.

kylexy99 : I know you're new around here and all, but I would like to suggest you to refrain from posts like that. One-word posts is considered spam, no matter what content. If you can't find anything worthy to reply in this thread, then don't reply at all.

Also, it's a smaller offense, but please don't sandwich post, since that's also considered spam occasionally. Of course, it depends on the case, but still.

Hey there Gamers! The latest news in the video game world includes
the ongoing dispute and lawsuit concerning the use of Motorola devices
that are compatible with Microsoft’s XBOX 360 console.

The background to this story is that Motorola has asked Microsoft
to compensate them for the use of their technology such as Windows 7,
Internet Explorer, and Windows Media Player. The problem is that
Microsoft disputes Motorola’s patent rights basically arguing that
Motorola is unreasonable in its asking prices for the use of its
products. This is bad news for Microsoft folks, and while this is not
the typical article you see in Vizzed forums it has extreme
repercussions on the gaming society, reason being; there is
contemplation by these major companies and the US import /export offices
to BAN the sales of the XBOX 360 console!!!!

Motorola is asking Microsoft to pay them a percentage for each
system sold. This legal battle has already cost both companies enough
money that a Judge in Seattle was quoted saying “its enough to finance a
small country.” Motorola has issued a Cease and desist order on all
sales of XBOX 360 console sales in America.

How does this affect us? Guys this battle for Microsoft could send
prices through the roof on ALL Microsoft hardware, including games. This
could cause a backlash for Microsoft of tremendous size. No longer
would people gravitate to XBOX leaving its competitors to reap the
benefits. Microsoft is running out of room to negotiate and solve this
problem folks and as usual it’s the consumers who are going to pay for
it. Let’s all cross our fingers and hope they can reach a settlement
because this war is effecting everyone worldwide.

I have tried multiple times to reach out over the game article position, I wish someone could let me know the status of my application, I would write a couple more articles or do anything I need to.  I sent the articles to Dave and IRIUNE and posted it to this forum because i was having problems posting it in the other forum, am I being penalized ? Maybe theres a lot of app's for them to review I dunno. 

dumptruck : You are not being penalized, but sometimes it takes a while to process the stuff. I would suggest that you get

Does anybody have any idea if and when we will be contacted for positions? I have made some 11 Let's Plays for the GamePlay Video Maker Position, and I haven't heard anything back yet from anybody. I would like to know where I check on my the status of my application. Any help peoples?

thing1 : Eventually.  We will probably have the higher ranks look at them because no one knows what to look for in that position yet.  You probably won't need much, seeing as it is pretty easy to get staff at the moment.

Hey, I'm Death, not literally lol, but figuratively speaking. I don't think I have been here for a year yet and maybe not a trusted member yet either, but I still would like to apply for a position, I'm online almost all the time, way more than like maybe 100 hours a week. I love video games, so I'd be perfect for the game tester. I also have high experience in game making, using a program called Power Game Factory and was in the progress of making my own Zelda game. I added sprites, tiles, music, etc. To games I made using that program. And finally, I think I would be a great Screen shot  Adder, because I'm on Google all the time, looking for images to use in my graphics class projects.
