Summer vacation is starting up for most users which means a lot of you have free time. This is the perfect opportunity for us to open up our doors and let people help out the site who are willing to donate their free time. There's no limit on how many users will be joining staff so that means that anyone who qualifies will be welcomed to staff.

Below are all of the positions available, please pick 1 or 2 positions you're interested in doing and why you'd be good at the position. All of the positions apply to both the Retro Game Room and the Video Game Room (unless specified otherwise).

Prerequisite for all positions: You must be able to come to the site at least 3 days a week and be able to invest at least 20 hours a month into the site. You must also be 13 years old or older.


Game Reviewer
Your job will be to review games.
Prerequisite: You must submit 2 reviews (at least 500 words each) to any of the games in the video game room or the retro game room

Screenshot Adder (position currently filled up)
Your job will be to find screenshots for the games and add them (or take screenshots if you're doing games in the RGR).
Prerequisite: Must be either a trusted member or been a member for at least a year and have at least 10 posts

Boxart Adder (position currently filled up)
Your job will be to find box art graphic for the games and add them
Prerequisite: Must be either a trusted member or been a member for at least a year and have at least 10 posts

Article Writer
Your job will be to write articles for games. Refer to this forum for more info: http://www.vizzed.com/boards/forum.php?id=111
Prerequisite: You must submit 2 articles to the video games forum. If we like your reviews, you're hired (and we'll move your articles to the articles forum).

Content Adder (position currently on hold)
Your job will be to add content to the games.
Prerequisite: Must be either a trusted member or been a member for at least a year and have at least 10 posts

Game Tester (position currently filled up)
Your job will be to test out games in the RGR to see if they work.
Prerequisite: Must be either a trusted member or been a member for at least a year and have at least 10 posts

Gameplay Video Recorder
Your job will be to record videos of you playing RGR games
Prerequisite: You must show an example of a video you've made of a game in the RGR that you've uploaded to youtube

Walkthrough Writer
Your job will be to write walkthroughs for games.
Prerequisite: You must write up a walkthrough for any game on vizzed and submit it here: http://www.vizzed.com/boards/forum.php?id=103&sub=Walkthroughs. There really isn't any guidelines currently for submitting walkthroughs but your walkthrough should be at very least 500 words (but preferably in the 1000s).

Out of all the stuff I could pick, it would easily be the game reviewer because I write up great reviews. (500+ words) Also, I always wanted to get the staff position ever since the Rgr Application opened up and I just can not wait to be staff. I think I'd be a great reviewer because I write reviews with a lot of content and I don't put people off with them. If there is a game without reviews I would usually try to review it.

Davideo7: Well I actually found 4 positions I wouldn't mind to have over the summertime I don't have really anything to do this summer so I should well have about 20+hours of time on the site. Anyway the 4 positions I would like: any of these are fine by the way. I wouldn't mind the Game Reviewer since I generally like to write game reviews in my spare time cause I have done it for other sites like GameFAQS, 2nd. The Screenshot Adder wouldn't be that bad of a job either, 3. Game Tester Would be a Great job also cause it would help benefit the site and users, and lastly Walkthrough Write would have to be the last choice I would like out of the 7 positions the reasoning is I like helping people that are having problems with the game I also have helped people on this site finding out where to go the game I did that was Paper Mario for N64. Not sure if I will get any of these jobs but I will sure try my best if I do. One more thing to note I usually am on the site everyday so like I said before 20+ hours will mostly likely not be a problem.

David, out of all of the positions on the list, I would really like to be able to do Screenshot Adder. Since I enjoy playing games oftens and during summer, I'm totally a dude with no life. (No joke, I'm always on computer during summer) so yeah, I'll have like at least 8 or more hours of computer everyday (But I'm going to camp like on June 24 and be gone for 2 weeks so it a warning) anyway, I would love to be screenshot adder.

I like the idea of applying for a game reviewer/tester, as I do play a lot of games with little to no screen-shots/reviews/anything. 
I'm about to write a review for the Touhoumon Series, as I talk about it extensively, and might as well put it down on site.

Dear David,

Through this I'm requesting to be part of the RGR Staff, in the role of Game Tester.
I declare that I am over thirteen years old.
I've reported before problems that occurred on the Vizzed Plugin (such as not being able to edit controls on the Genesis console) so I am sure that I will be able to test all of the games that I am requested or I find.
If I am accepted, I hope this to be a great experience for my future life which is very close; I can think of this staff application as a training, I will do my best to complete my task, accepting any punishment for not clearing it.
Being a Game Tested can be a good thing for me, I can find some other games I played in my childhood, and report the games that I really wish to play that do not work
I am avaible all days from Monday to Monday, vacation is soon to come as your said, so it will be better I do some good stuff to a site I wanted to find in a long time, than just keep lurking around the site.
