These graphics are some of the best for the NES The only thing I don't get is why Mario's overalls are BLACK and not BLUE

I love the sound affects, the music was catchier than Velcro (or how about Usher instead eh?)
The easter egg is that if you used a Warp Whistle, the tune got reused in Zelda:Ocarina of Time on the Nintendo 64 (the press start to play music)

Addictiveness:8
This game is pretty addictive and fun. With great power-ups such as the Tanooki suit, raccoon leaf, the Hammer bros. suit and that giant boot you can go in.

Story:6
The same story usually. Except that Bowser (a.k.a 'King Koopa' in japan) unleashed a new weapon....The Koopa kids!! (da da daaaaa)

loads of things to do! You can jump (of course!) Your can swim, fly, throw fireballs, throw hammers, and even turn into a statue!

This is actually pretty hard, unlike other Mario games.

Mario 3 is what you would call one of the best mario games out there that's a retro classic. Or you could say the best ever. Like Screw attack said. I love it as well, I can say that its what made me a big fan of the side scrolling games or Mario in general.

Great game really loved the way it played and the graphics weren't too bad at all, not a bad play at all, everyone should give it one try at some point, it least once, great game overall, just not a 5 out of 5 though.
