Can you explain what you mean by copy it? I do not understand what you mean. I was not aware that Legend of Zelda 2 had a continue feature that you can put save codes into. Or is this not an in game thing?

Oracle changed some aspects of newer versions of the Java VM, which has temporarily broken save code support on VNES.

The developer of VNES is currently investigating a fix, but it will take time to implement without users losing their current codes.
