I know that there was an idea going around regarding "Achievements" in the RGR game room/profile. Is this something that you are still considering for site upgrade possibilities?

This would be cool if you had like 5 slots on your Profile to feature high scores/end game screens etc on your profile for everyone to see.

I know that you could probably make a layout like this, but it would be cool if you could come up with some cool way for the users to feature this stuff.

What are your thoughts?

The Feathered Dragon : There'd be too many legal issues with PSX games and it'd increase monthly fees adding PSX and/or Dreamcast games.

Mednafen games go full screen by pressing Alt+Enter.

Jordanv78 : lol that's kind of a "top secret" feature that I do still plan to add one day.

mrfe : I don't remember. When the site originally went up in 2002, I was using the acmlm board code and didn't use any of my own code since I didn't really know PHP at that time so setting it up really didn't take too long.

Oh another question : With the over-whelming amount of Pokemon games in the rpg section of the retro game room,
would you ever split the rpg category into two, as of such just giving pokemon games a section of there own.
Sorry but its quite hard to find rpgs that arent pokemon :L

Are you planning on doing any more "Bid for your services" threads again? I was bummed to see that you did one that only lasted a few hours in the middle of the night. I would have been able to out-bid leggy too or at least stay neck and neck since we had similar amounts of Viz at the time (I think anyways)

Either way, I look forward to see something like that again the in the future. I could use some graphic work on a blog ;-)

What is your family's opinion of vizzed? Do they enjoy it?

earthwarrior : Because the games on GYR are just for download where the games on vizzed are played in the browser which is far more difficult to pull off since those systems have to be made playable in the plugin and browser which is expensive. Also GYR has a lot of bandwidth limits. I actually don't make any money off that site, in fact I usually take a loss, the only reason I keep it up is so that JigSaw can make some money off of it (he's co-owner of that site).

Singelli : With so many threads on the site, it'd take me hours to come up with a favorite lol. This thread is one of my favorites though and the reason is because it gives me a chance to sorta socialize with the users of the site.

mrfe : I usually work on the site an average of 40 hours a week and I've been doing that for years. Actually a year or so ago I was investing up to 60 hours a week on the site. I really don't know how many hours I've invested into the site but if I were to take a guess, I'd say at least 10,000 hours. There have been a lot of other users who have invested a lot of hours into the site but of course none of them would be near that number (and I definitely wouldn't expect anyone to invest close to that many hours into a site that wasn't theirs).

I think there's going to be a opening for moderators soon. Early next month I might be looking to hire some site staff as well.

iN008 : Probably not since all you have to do is type in 'Pokemon' to have all Pokemon games come up.

mrfe : My wife rarely uses it but she does have an account and has used it a little. None of my siblings or parents use the site. Actually there's only 1 person I know in real life that uses the site and that's lilwildwolf21. Years ago I had a bunch of real life friends who were active posters on the site.

darthyoda : I went to Dakota County Technical College for a semester and than dropped out (had no transportation). A few years after that I went to Art Institute Online for a Diploma in Web Design. Too be honest though, I regret going because most of my skills I've learned on my own so I didn't really learn too much going there, at least nothing I couldn't have learned on my own. I'm still paying my school loan for that too and will be for a while longer.
