That's a hard one tRIUNE.  I'd have to say Jurassic Park and Land Before Time.  These to movies genres have impacted my life in such a way that it has made me the paleontological nerd I am now lol.  I have watched these movies so much I can rerun them in my head dollar for dollar and pound for pound.(No one covers you like Allstate lol)

I love The Blind Side.  I don't really watch movies that much, so I'm still open to changing my favorite movie.  (This is how out of it I can be when it comes to watching movies, I haven't even seen Avatar)  Also, my favorite stupid humor movie is Airplane.  That movie is so funny, in a dumb way...  Check both of those movies out.  They're both pretty popular though.

Man there are a lot of movies that are so good but I am very fond of 80's and 90's moves.  One of my favorite movies I "Big Trouble in Little China."  Another favorite is "Bloodsport."  Its funny but now that I am thinking about these movies my mind went blank.  Another movie that I recommend you to watch is "Excalibur" made in 1981 its long but a great movie good to watch with a lady.

I love the 'new' Sherlock Holmes with Robert Downy Jr. in them, i just like his face. My favorite though would be The Dark Knight. I was always a Batman guy from a younger age but this movie for me and a lot of others, it was about The Joker he did amazing. Best ever hands down, then i would have a childhood favorite which is Sleepy Hollow i would watch it all the time and scare the crap outta myself I'm not sure why but again from a young age I've liked scary movies.


Edit: I didn't add any funny movies! As i didn't read the other comments i have to agree Rush Hour (1,2,3) have to be on my list too. Sorry i can't pick just one!

tRIUNE : As the son of a movie buff I think it is impossible for me to pick one movie. It’s even difficult sometimes to pick by genre. I love Boxing movies (I’m a boxing journalist) so in terms of Boxing movies I’d have to go with the Rocky series as my favorite but I wouldn’t be so bold to call it my favorite sports movie or series. I run into the same problem with Mob movies. In the case of Mob movies it’s pretty much a four way tie The Godfather series, Scarface, Goodfellas and, Casino. It’s too difficult to pick just one. This is one reason among many that I buy digital copies of movies on streaming services like VuDu, even movies which I already own on DVD. I guess it’s best to have the best of both worlds especially good if you don’t have access to a DVD player.

My favorite movie is tied between the Crow and American History X. They both have great plots and great actors. Both movies make you feel an arrange of emotions and that's how movies should make you feel. If I had to choose between the two I'd side with American History X just because of the ending. I recommend both movies if you haven't seen them
