At the moment, I'm listening to Changing by The Airborne Toxic Event. I remember when I first found these guys, I was pretty darn pleased. I find these members all compliment each other musically very well, it makes for some really awesome arrangements. At the time I found out about them, there was another song and band that I liked a lot, but it's one of the few that has escaped my mental catalog sadly. For now.

I hate to shock everyone and say I'm not listening to Red...

So I won't.

At the moment, I'm listening to Heart It Races by Architecture In Helsinki. I first heard this song covered by Dr.Dog and didn't even know it was a cover. Eventually I came about searching for Dr.Dogs version on youtube, and found out about it. I'm really glad too, because Architecture In Helsinki is very cool in my opinion and they have pretty interesting music videos! My favourite part is the scream at the end of the "heart it races alone" chant at 1:55. It's such a cool climax.

At the moment, I'm listening to Ragged Wood by Fleet Foxes. It's a beautiful song in tune with the current season! I find a lot of their songs have a very mountain folky sound to them. Traditional instruments coupled with modern techniques. It's funny, despite the lyrics of this song, I find it and most others on this album remind me a lot of Winter. It could have to do with when I first heard them, or that "mountain" quality I hear, but they remind me a lot of Winter? Not many bands wholly remind me of (an) aspect(s) of nature, but this one does.

I'm listening to this one because the other day while listening to random music on my phone while vacuuming, a Hawk Nelson song came on, and so did a Josh Wilson song (yes, I own more than Red albums) and it reminded me just how good some of the other, non-Red songs I have are, and I decided to shake things up a bit and start playing them sometimes.

Then while cycling through random Hawk Nelson songs just now I came across this one and decided to settle on it.

It's a beautiful song, a cry to God for help when we can't go on any longer.

Now I've typed so long that "Turn It On" has come on. It's a decent song, even if it talks about how mundane his life is since he stays home, playing PlayStation. xD
