The last show I watched was The Blacklist: Redemption. So far it's pretty good, and from the previews I've seen for the next episode, it looks like it's only going to get better. Every Blacklist fan needs to watch this spinoff show.

Recently, I've been watching a show called Nodame Cantabile (the live-action version). This Japanese drama was awesome for its time, and I finished the show years ago, but there's just something about this show that brings me back to it time and again. I pretty much never rewatch any shows (yep, I do my best to memorize each one as I watch them) because I think that our time is limited so not rewatching anything is the only way for me to view as many things as possible before leaving this world), but this is one of those shows that I actually rewatch sometimes since it seems to be good for my heart/soul.

For anyone that wants to watch Nodame Cantabile, keep in mind that it's a series about music AND a comedy, so if you can make it past the first 10 minutes and understand that some things were intended to be hilarious/funny (like the airplane model that's supposed to represent a real airplane rofl), you'll be all set. =P

Right now ( although it's starting to roll the credits ) I'm watching @Midnight on Comedy Central.

It's not the funniest show out there, but it surely has it's moments and is worth seeing from time to time. Chris Hardwick may be a bit of a nerd, but his sense of humor is on point more often than not. I like how they have 3 different guests for each episode, as it helps keep things fresh as far as what kind of jokes and style the show has to offer each time. Kevin Smith was actually on the show yesterday, and every single joke he told was about a movie he was in or produced / directed, which was a first for the show ( and pretty impressive in all honesty ).

Recently, I've been watching Season 11 of the show called Criminal Minds. I managed to borrow some DVDs of the show from a friend, so later, I'm going to finish watching the last episode. Since I didn't watch many of the episodes before this season, I expect to go back to watch the other seasons at some point to figure out what might have led to some of the characters leaving in this season.

Right now South Park is currently on the tube, as I'm still watching Comedy Central.

C-C is one of my three go-to channels ( the others being TruTV and Cartoon Network / Adult Swim ). The only kind of TV I really care for is something to make me laugh or feel light-hearted, which is exactly what those channels offer. I'm such a pessimistic person, having some thing to watch as a pick-me-up is always nice. Hopefully one day I can get my mental state out of this rut lol.

Right now, I am watching a Japanese live-action drama/show called Papa to Musume no Nanokakan (Seven Days of a Daddy and a Daughter). It's a comedy from the year 2007 with only 7 episodes and comes highly recommended by one of my friends, so I figured I would see if this comedy show/drama was anything like Freaky Friday, except unlike Freaky Friday, the body switching occurs with a father and his daughter instead. According to my friend, the main male actor (Tachi Hiroshi) got the female movements down pat, but the girl that's portraying his daughter (Aragaki Yui) was either not as expressive or just not as good of an actor/actress, but I'm only on episode 1 so I guess I just haven't watched enough of the show yet to appreciate exactly how good the main male lead is (he did win the Best Actor award in 2007 at the 54th Television Drama Academy Awards for starring in this show after all). However, the show/drama is becoming more intriguing by the minute (so far, so good), so I hope it really is as good as my friend says it is. =)

I'm watching Iron Fist. It's part of the Defenders series from Netflix. They do a REALLY good job of introducing new characters, making 45 minute episodes that are just awesome! Binge watch commencing!

The last show I've been watching is an anime called Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid. It's a great show so far, but quite short at only 13 episodes. I need to watch the final episode which just came out this week.

I'm watching That 70's Show on Comedy Central while getting ready to leave for a few hours.

I never had much of a chance to watch it when it was originally airing ( or was just too young to care at the time ), so it's awesome that C-C decided to air it again every morning from like 9 - 12. I've never been big on sitcoms, if that's even what you would call it, but this show is among my favorite T-V series from the previous generation, or at least what I've seen of it so far has been good.

I always thought it was funny how similar my personality is at times to the character named Steven on the show XD

Right now, I am watching a Japanese live-action drama/show called Hero 2 (2014). I watched Hero (the first one that was made in 2001) a while back, so now I am watching its sequel, in which a lot of the actors and actresses returned to the show to reprise their roles. This drama/show takes place approximately 7 years after the first story, and there was a lot of hype surrounding this drama/show because the first drama, Hero, obtained the highest Japanese TV drama ratings record in 25 years.

The original story (Hero) was about how a young public prosecutor named Kuryu Kohei (Takuya Kimura) interviewed suspects and did his best to uncover the truth by actually going outside to investigate the issues and what each person said, rather than just indicting people from behind a desk like many of his coworkers in the same building. Unfortunately, this often leads to a lot of negative publicity, which often ends up scaring his coworkers. XD Unlike his coworkers, Kuryu refuses to wear the traditional suit and tie, and when he is in his office, one could usually find him working out and exercising with one of the random, strange-looking machines he often buys online from the home shopping network. lol

Because Hero did so well and I really enjoyed the first season, I was really excited when I realized that I finally have some time to watch Hero 2, which I didn't get to watch when it first came out. So far, I think the series is great, just like the one before it, so I'm going to watch it until the end to determine whether or not it really is better than the first season. =)

I have really dialed in to Rick & Morty. I used to think Archer was high-class for the comedy and entertainment of animated programming but Rick & Morty have climbed over the top. The writers are geniuses, they have a great show going, they break barriers and it's some extremely engaging cartoons. Even my wife, who thinks cartoons are for kids, is amused some times. Rick & Morty can get a bit heavy for her and for most people so it will always be more of a fringe show, like Ren & Stimpy, but I think it's incredible. It's great stuff. I take the time to watch.

Right now, I am watching the Japanese live-action drama/show called Great Teacher Onizuka (the old 1998 version, not the new ones). I actually finished this one many years ago but then I saw a Vizzed user's picture that looks like this

(you know who you are =P ) and that reminded me of how much I enjoyed the live-action episodes for the show. XD At the time, I was still skeptical about watching Japanese dramas, but after watching Great Teacher Onizuka, I found myself searching for more dramas/series that would grip my interest in the same way. I had been interested in watching the new versions of this drama for a while, but since it's been a few years since the last time I watched this series, I thought I should refresh my memory a bit before I go on to watch the newer versions. =)

When I first watched this series, I hadn't read the manga for it yet and I didn't know anything about the story. In my opinion, not knowing the story beforehand made the experience of watching the drama a lot better, so I'm going to place my synopsis of the story in spoiler tags in case some of you would actually like to watch the drama. =)

Spoiler:
In essence, this 12-episode drama/comedy starring Takashi Sorimachi (who also sings the opening theme called Poison lol) is about how a principal decides to give a former delinquent called Eikichi Onizuka a chance to become a teacher, even though many of the other teachers don't take kindly to that decision. He ends up meeting with a lot of resistance from both teachers and students alike, and many of them try to get him kicked out of the school. Unlike the other teachers, however, Onizuka is able to use "unorthodox methods" to teach the students and help them to resolve their problems.

When the story was adapted from the manga, it was changed a bit so that certain scenes could be shown on TV (Japan is pretty strict about what can be shown after all), but the drama still had an average audience share of 28.5%, and the final episode, which was the most 8th most watched broadcast in the Kanto region in 1998, had a stunning rate of 35.7%. In fact, the drama was so successful, they ended up making another movie afterwards, which became the 10th highest-grossing film of the year (in 1998). XD Since both the show and the movie were already available when I started to watch the series, I watched the movie shortly after I finished the show.

Because of the reasons stated in the spoilers tags, I'm really looking forward to watching the newer versions of this drama, although I've heard that the newest episodes are actually not as good as the older ones in quite a few ways (directing problems, etc.).

The last show I watched was an episode of Fairy Tail online ( because I absolutely love to binge watch me some anime XD ).

I was really expecting it to have a cheesy "we can do any thing if we stick together as friends" kind of vibe, which I hate ( yea, looking at you Naruto. You're god awful lol ), but it wasn't bad at all. I mean they still have that kind of message, but they don't throw it in your face constantly. I'm pretty far in at this point, at like 138 out of 176, so I'm trying to make it last instead of just going on a huge binge and rushing to the end. It's so hard for me to find anime I like ( that I haven't already watched through before. I can't repeat shows, my memory is too good and I just remember every thing in that episode maybe 5 min into it. Same reason I can't re-read books too ), that despite my impulsive urges to watch 15 episodes a day, I try to enjoy the ride as long as possible.

On a side note, Gray is by far my favorite character of the show. I see a lot of myself in him, and that generally tends to be the ones I like most lol. I guess that makes me a little narcissistic, but it's whatever

I've been watching Chuck... LOVE that show. Been watching it again, only because the other shows I watch are currently not up to date with the latest episode coming out. (Legion and Timeless are both currently running, and I'm completely caught up... Sad, because both are on a big cliff hanger.)
