Do you drink bottled water, it used to be the only choice you got was con or sans gas and in most parts of Europe that is exactly the case spa red or blue - I think there is also a green

Anyway where do you stand on the bottled water debating line? I just refilled a mineral water bottle with tap water and thought okay that saves the cost of opening another bottle and double the plastic.

There is also spring and table water which are not mineral water and the last I believe is just filtered tap water resold in a bottle.

Con or sans gas? Spa red or blue? Green? Sorry, I'm a bit confused about that. I see a lot of brands here in NZ. I don't drink bottled water unless I'm desperate for water, which isn't often. Usually I can find water anywhere. If I do buy water, it's soda water. I personally don't think there's anything against buying bottled water, but you may just be wasting your money. It depends where you're from and what your thoughts about tap water are. IMO, tap water here is perfectly fine. Oh and...mineral and spring water are the same thing. In most countries there's a legal requirement for it to contain a certain % of dissolved minerals (which cannot be added) and originate from a proper underground spring.

I drink bottled water about once a day now. I'm living on campus right now, so the quality of tap water really isn't that great. It's not that bad, but it kind of has a funny taste to it and I really hate drinking it.

Water really isn't clean anymore. Tap water is not surprisingly not cleaned so much and bottled "spring water" can be just as bad. There's like one person who regulates water and so the water companies pretty much just do as they please. It doesn't even make sense to buy water bottles. They're made of plastic and they're much more expensive (even though the quality of the water may not even be an improvement over the tap). There's traces of arsenic in it as well. The water companies are just as bad as the oil companies.

Watch the film "FLOW: For Love of Water" for more information.

To me water is water. I drink water from the tap at home all the time, and to me it tastes the same. Most of the time I don't drink bottled water because I make sure to bring a water bottle with me at all times.

I don't know most of those brands but I think bottled water is good. I think its good because if you drop it it won't spill. That's all I've got to say about the subject.

The only situation in which I would drink bottled water is if I could not avoid it. If I bring a drink with me, it is in my own reusable bottle.

At home I drink out of cans and water from the tap.

We are on a well- I think city water tastes terrible. In order to drink water at my friends houses it either has to be filtered, full of juice or ice, otherwise I am not used to the chlorinated flavor.

Well I hated tap water because I always lived in the cities, but once I moved with my step mom she has a well water suply and it taste AWSOME!!! I can't get enough of it! The only time I buy water bottles if I find myself in the mall or some place that has no well water. Usually I just buy one soda if we are going on a trip cus I get car sick easily and the carbination helps me out. At home I mostly drink either the yummy tap water or some of my diet juice with meals. Oh ya can't stand bottle juice after living with this well water there is a HUGE difference!!! I have to make my own juice now with this delicious well water~

Note I only drink soda for long car rides and when we go to resturants. Soda at resturants is just a treat~

I only like the Fiji water bottle, or the Dasani one.

I don't really like the others, tasted like tap water to me for some reason.

Bottled water was quite the scam when it came out, and it still is in a way. Bottled water is much more convenient nowadays because you can take it wherever you go, but not without its share of drawbacks. For one thing, the plastic waste from the bottle constantly adds to our landfills, unless you throw it in recycling. Another issue is that bottled water companies can charge over 10x the cost of making a bottle when they're selling it. The best way to solve this problem is to either recycle the bottle or reuse it. I tend to do the latter with just tap water because it all tastes the same to me and I use less plastic that way.

I hate Bottled Water. The scam of making you pay, the stupid bottles they put it in, and the taste. It tastes like its been washed with soap.

I grew up on tap, and that's how I will stay.

I drink bottled water when I can't get it another way, though I prefer to just refill old bottles and reuse them rather than pay more. I also always make sure to recycle the bottles I do get rid of.

I had a reusable aluminum bottle, but it just started to taste bad after awhile, no matter how much I cleaned it. I really like the plastic one that I had, but my old coworker broke it and I haven't found a decent one since.

We are on a well here, but the water still needs to be filtered just because of all the stuff in it. Maybe because I grew up with filtered water, but it tastes odd with all the stuff in it.

There is a spring up the road though, and that water tastes amazing! It's mostly snow runoff, and it's always nice and cold. The only water I've tasted that was better was from an underground spring at Independence Rock in Wyoming.

I hate bottled water. It's such a pointless waste. It costs more money, and most of the time, it's just tap water in a plastic container. Really, just drink it out of the tap. Then again, it might be easier for me to say that, considering that my tap water is from a nearby well, and tastes good.

I actually do not drink bottled water anymore. I used to drink it quite a while back just because that was all that I had to drink and our water supply in the house was not clean for some reason. Though I would rather fill my actual water bottle not buy bottled water.
