I just logged on today and noticed the new holiday layout. Personally, I really like it. It's a nice break from the regular navy blue and green. That's not to say I don't like the regular version. I just welcome this change. It adds a bit more variety to the site.

Anyone else can share their opinions on anything related to the change, etc.

David changes it for everyone on December 1st. You are free to change it back if you want through edit profile at the top left.

Well I personally dont like it, but this is mainly because the red hurts my eyes for some reason.
It's probably cause it's a sharper red rather then a soft red.
Wouldnt mind it as much if the red was a different shade I think, but as it is, no, dont like it.
Needless to say I changed mine back to the normal layout.

I love the logo and the Christmas layout much more than the regular ones! The regular stuff seemed to bother me (not my eyes per say, but, my mind?) but this feels right. I may even keep the layout after the holiday season (though unlikely).

Using both green and red together is incredibly hard since they contrast each other so much and it's very easy for them to hurt someones eyes when used together so it was a real challenge to pull off the colors with shades that are gentle on the eyes and still set a pleasant mood.
