You can rent your very own forum on vizzed board that gets displayed at the bottom of the forum index in the 'Rented Forums' box.


Pricing/Features
-100,000 Viz to open up your own forum (price will change as we get more rented forums)
-5,000 Viz for each additional mod you want assigned to your forum (must be a Trusted Member)
-5,000 Viz for each mod you want removed for your forum
-20,000 Viz for a forum name change (price depends on name change)
-5,000 Viz for a forum description change
-10,000 Viz for a colorized Forum Title or change (means the link will be any color that you choose)
-20,000 Viz for a custom background for your forum (when it appears on index, it'd have custom bg)
-10,000 Viz to make it so only Normal or Trusted Members and up can post in it (additional 10,000 Viz to make it so only Normal or Trusted Members and up can access it)
-20,000 Viz to make it private (only you and staff can access and post in the forum and any mods you appointed to the forum)
-(a club forum costs 10,000 extra Viz)


Privileges
-You can full mod powers over your forum which means you can:
---Edit posts within your forum
---Edit threads within your forum
---Stick, Unstick, Close or Open threads within your forum
---Move threads from your forum to other forums
---Assign threads to Sub Forums within your forum
-Other privileges can be seen in the pricing info above
-When your forum is created, you can specify your own forum title and description


Rules and Requirements
-The forum topic has to be approved by me first
-The forum must follow the rules on the rest of the site
-You must be a Trusted Member or higher
-You are responsible for modding your forum and keeping it under control
-Do not abuse your mod powers of the forum you are modding
-You must be at least 13 years old
-There is a maximum number of characters you can use for forum title and description
-You can only have 1 forum, however, if you do a great job at modding your own forum and it brings in enough activity, I'll allow you to have a 2nd (same fees apply)
-If your forum doesn't have a post within the last 7 days (this number may change), it'll no longer appear on index (until a post is made again)
-If you have any problems with members in your forum, contact the Global Moderators
-Failure to do any of these may result into you losing your forum

First you should ask me if the forum you want is acceptable and what features you want. I'll tell you the total price, you send the Viz and info and your forum will be setup within 24 hours. Any questions, feel free to ask in this thread.

Didowe : What do you mean by club forums? A forum dedicated to a clan of members? If so, yeah, that's allowed.

hackerman : You're currently not a trusted member anyway, that's a requirement.

The reason I'd want to increase the price is to lower the amount of people who purchase these, it would suck if there were a ton of rented forums, it would really increase the size of the forum index page. What I suppose I could do is make it so that the forum index only shows the top 10 forums that have the most recent posts.

OK, can I have a forum for the droog embassy (my club). Right now I just want a simple forum, I kind of want the description to be "Where droogs can converse about things" and that's it. I'll assign mods once I get more Viz.

Wow, that'd be half my Viz. I wanna save up for stuff, though. I thought you'd still sell em for 5,000 like the first plans, but guess not. Oh well, I'll get one someday.

Thanks for making this. I've been helping as many people as I can on these forums ever since I beat all the RGR games I was looking for (I'll look for more games sometime soon). My Viz has been building up without an outlet. Now I'll eventually have something to do with it all when I've doubled what I have and become Trusted.

Davideo7 : The 'Top 10' idea sounds like a good one, that way you can have multiple on a separate page, but only display the ones with the newest posts at the front.

I think a price increase is due.... 25,000 is pretty cheap.

I think 50,000 and a 10,000 per month fee to keep it going seems fair. I don't think each "club" needs it's own forum....

It really doesn't. I only went with it, because at the time, only the KKSG was a real club. Mega's knights are more of an RP guild it feels. So I was only making a second less exclusive club...

Awesome Club is a carbon copy of mine though ... I don't know how I feel about that...

Zeldisaster : Expensive yeah but I don't want just anyone getting a forum. Also keep in mind, the plan before was for there to be a monthly fee of I think 2,500 Viz a month, now there is no monthly fee so in the long run that right there saves you 30,000 Viz in a year. And actually it's only 25,000 Viz for a rented forum.

geeogree : Having a monthly fee requires it to be automated and that's not something I'll have time for anytime soon and I don't want to be bothered having to PM every user who owns a forum each month asking for their monthly payment. Yeah it's a little silly for each club to have their own forum but if they can somehow keep their club forums active, that only helps Viz but if they fail, they'll lose their forum. A few clubs is fine but to many is ridiculous so I might have to make it a rule that the forum can't be a club forum.

I really like my forum, and it's currently the most active one around. It's also a really good place to hold my RP series.

alexanyways : would have to agree on that last part. And in my mind, it really isn't "awesome" so much as seconds of a great dish. It's not a bad thing, but some days you just don't have room for seconds. =P

I didn't even know about KKSG until I was invited to it. And I think I had already started Swagger Club, although that isn't important now, as both are happily in existence. =P

But still, nice to have gotten my club in before price escalated.

Davideo7 : Hmmm, is there a forum donation button at all? You should maybe add in a feature where people can donate Viz to user hosted forums to help keep it running or pay for upgrades? Just an idea think it would be neat.

I think this is a really awesome idea, and will let whoever wants to experience being a mod have all their dreams come true, LOL I might consider renting one, someday, if I can ever think of a good enough idea. Also, this will give lots of people practice at being a mod and help give us some really qualified mods next time there's an opening. Maybe if the battle hack ever happens (lol) the club forums will really evolve and turn into guilds or whatever the kids call clans or groups these days.

i know you get Viz hen people reply to your threads but this has been lingering in my thoughts do you get Viz when people make a thread in your forum?

I just made it so that when you have the forum set to only allow Normal or Trusted members to post in the forum, everyone can still access the forum but only the specified user group can post in it. It'll cost an additional 10,000 Viz to make it so that only the specified user group can post in the forum.

The reason for this is because making to many forums private and not viewable guests and newbies hurts the search engine ranking since those pages can't be seen or indexed by search engines.

Not sure if this stated previously or not but I really think you should make it so people can have their own forum template for their entire forum. Seeing septemberns thread was awesome, but having it as the entire theme for his board would be even better.

I've been thinking of making a music forum, both for musicians and music lovers. I know we have the entertainment section, but I want the music forum to focus only on music stuff and not to be seen by guests... what do you think about it?
