Here's some brief TdV info:

Each day there will be 4 Jerseys you can compete for:
Yellow Jersey: Most words in a day
Blue Jersey: Most posts in a day
Red Jersey: Most CP in a day
Green Jersey: Most CP actions in a day

If you get 1st place in a Jersey for a day, you get to "wear" that Jersey the following day. To "wear" it means that the background of your username will have a unique background graphic. Only the top 5 places of each Jersey gets points, 1st gets 5 and 5th gets 1. Whoever has the most points for any Jersey at the end of the competition gets to wear that Jersey for the entire next month. If you have more than 1 jersey, your jersey receives stripes for each jersey color you own.

Along with the Jerseys are Banners that change your username color. They basically represent who has the most points total:
Rainbow Banner: Whoever has the most points so far in the competition
White Banner: New member who has the most points so far in the competition (anyone who has signed up in the past 3 months)
Gray Banner: Veteran member who has the most points so far in the competition (anyone who signed up more than 7 years ago)

Tour de Vizzed Rules:

You'll be DQ'd if:
-More than 25% of your daily posts are made in one of the following forums: Crazy House, Vizzed Market, Polls and Questions, Video Game Craziness, Newbie Forum (unless posts are made in your own thread then it's 50%)
-You copy content from other websites or other posts
-You use the "tabbing" technique to make a bunch of posts in a short amount of time
-You're caught cheating or unfairly earning Contribution Points
-More than 25% of your daily posts are made in the same thread (your own thread and staff threads are an exception)
-If 50% or more of your daily words are posted in the final hour of the day
-Staff members are not allowed to feature their own reviews during the Tour de Vizzed

Additionally:
If you get DQ'd just once from a Jersey, you can no longer get points for that Jersey for the rest of the month. We will be very strict from now on with the Tour de Vizzed. Only CP actions which you earned CP off of count toward the Green Jersey.

If you get DQ'd from too many Jerseys in too many TdV competitions, you'll be DQ'd from the TdV forever. Also, if you get DQ'd from a single Jersey in too many competitions, you'll be DQ'd from that specific Jersey forever.

Also, if 50% or more of your daily words are posted in the final hour of the day, you'll be DQ'd from the Yellow Jersey. Too many users have waited until the end of the day to submit a bunch of reviews to the site and that's unfair to users competing


Additional Tour de Vizzed Info:

Some CP actions only count as 1 per day. In other words, any action in the below list can only increase your Green Jersey points by 1:
Forum Navigation, Review Rated, User Referral Posted, Video Rated, Post Spell Checked, Visiting Vizzed, Screenshot Rated, Post, Game Commenting, Thread, Thread Reply, Chat Room Minute, Staff Forum Post, Staff Forum Thread and Screenshot Details Added.

These CP actions do not count toward the Green Jersey: Game Content.

Each day there will be a specific CP action which will be worth doubled the points which benefits the Red Jersey competition. Below is a list of which actions are worth doubled on which days this month:

I don't anticipate competing much this time around, as my work schedule for this summer is pretty crazy. I may try to snag a jersey here and there, though. Good luck to everyone! Hopefully we can see a good amount of activity this month!

Time for yet another TdV! Honestly I don't know how much I'll be competing I mean for one I retired last tdv despite getting 3rd lol but since last time I've started working and such so I don't have endless time for it anymore but I'll also note that anytime I've straight up said I don't plan on competing I've still ended up doing it for whatever reason so let's just wait and see. That said good luck everyone who does actually plan on competing!

I plan to compete if I don't get bogged down with the weather. The weather has been active in my area, so I have been busy covering severe weather.

Yes! Tour de Vizzed! I've been waiting months for this. I'm going to try as hard as I possibly can. I don't know how Barathemos pulled off the win last time. Classgame was winning by so much and then boom, Barathemos comes out of nowhere.

I'm going for the Blue and Yellow Jersey's.

I'm Coming with a Good Strategy, I'm trying to win the Blue Jersey without making to many Posts, So each posts needs to be longer. Thankfully today is Saturday and not Friday, I would be getting lots of actions instead of Posts.

Is the TdV golf rules now?

Barathemos: I'm adding up the placement of what Place your in; So basically If you have got first place for everything you add up the points to 4, Lets say you Get 10th place for all Jerseys well you add up your scores to 40, so yeah, That's how it works.

For a minute I thought about using my ultimate weapon I've had saved up since last tdv and using all of my minecraft screenshots but it's truthfully slower than I thought it'd be but I still have a ton I can drop at any point if I really want to.

Dauntez : I think I get what your going for but it's kind of confusing when tdv already has a points system so that's probably why Bara was confused.

SonicOlmstead: Yeah I did not think of that, so now I'll explain it next time I will explain it. So an ultimate weapon? I'd use it in the middle of Tour de Vizzed.

I kinda like it better when i was winning jerseys outside the TDV. Now i actually have to compete. Im gonna snag some jerseys when you guys burn yourselves out.

I'm replying to lot of posts on this thread so that no one can beat me on the Blue Jersey! I'm going to try as hard as I can to win the Blue Jersey, and possibly the Yellow Jersey.

I would compete but this month is really busy for me. I mean I’ll post here and then to derail a few people, an obstacle to say, but mostly I just don’t have the time. Hopefully January will be better suited for me.

We're back at it. I could probably compete to try to achieve some personal goals of mine, but this month comes heavily loaded with work and some weekends that I'll be mostly unavailable so I'm not going to push too hard to compete.

Let's see what does summer bring us this year. Most people have a surge in activity due to higher free time at their hands so we might see some interesting numbers. Good luck to all competitors and let the best of 'em all win!
