I didn't receive a stimulus because I'm pretty sure I didn't qualify. I live with my parents whenever I'm not at my college dorm so I'm pretty sure that's why. I think that since my mom and I have been out of work for a month and a half that my mom should get another one, but it'll be OK if we don't. Thankfully my dad is back at work.

I got mine and it helped a lot. Paid off all my credit card bills and put $250 towards a Mac book for school. Also bought some inventory for my store and a handful of video games and books and still have a couple hundred left.

I want another but mostly to buy stuff that will keep me busy, like more games and books. If I'm going to be stick at home almost every day, it helps to have new stuff to do.

I agree that it helps to have new things to do. That is why I bought some more video games XD I still never heard back on my stimulus but it is OK because I am working again and I got a nice refund from my college to cover additional expenses from how hectic moving out of there was and things like that.

I've heard from a few people that they're widening the umbrella for people who are eligible for the check... I'd appreciate getting one this time. I didn't last time since I'm still a dependent on my mother, though I pay a lot of my personal bills and help out with stuff around the house. Right now I'm really hoping that there's going to be a 2nd one, there's been a lot of rumors about a 2nd for months but it looks like it gained some steam over the last week.

The thing is cases have been going up a lot and neighborhoods here in NYC have started shutting down again, so another stimulus is going to be needed by a lot of people here soon.

The main question was Mitch McConnell, who would prefer to sit on any bill that he thinks isn't slanted heavily toward his political leanings or big business backers. Now that he's not going to be allowed to block bills by the simple process of not bringing them up for vote there's certain to be some manner of stimulus.

We just don't know how much and to whom.

I got my 2nd one recently and I put some into my Robinhood account too so that I could buy dogecoin since the price was going up a lot. I also bought the complete series of The Office and House but other than that I don't plan on spending any of the rest until it's confirmed or not whether I'll actually get the extra 1400.
