Hi everyone. I just had to make this thread. Mulan The Live Action is coming out into the cinema sometime in March. Now there are mixed feelings about it because its not based on the orginal Disney animtion film rather...its based ton the myth to do with Mulan many many years ago...you see the chinese were shamed with how the animation told the story and were now happy with it. However the people who adored the animtion isnt happy that there are not going to be any songs in the live action. I guess disney is appealing to the chinese for them to watch it? I wasnt too happy at first when I heard the songs were not going to be on there. however I grew to understand in a way. the live action is the closest to be able to tell the true story of Mulan and her past.

I am looking forward to it I am also going with an open mind. then I will make another thread telling how I feel about it. and not telling any spoilers of course!


So what do you think? if you have watched the mulan animated film when you were younger what do you feel towards the live ation after seeing the trailer?

I have watched both the original Mulan and Mulan 2, I didn't actually know that they were making a new live action Mulan film before seeing this. :o I think that I will probably look into this some more sometime today when I get the chance but I am really looking forward to seeing it!

I'm not that big of a fan, in fact I don't recall ever seeing the original before so I'm not sure I know what it's abour at all. However, I heard that one of my favorite people from YouTube has a small cameo in it so that's something that's been intriguing me. I'm also sure that my friends will eventually want to see it so I'll have to catch up on the original sometime before it comes out.
