If you're still doing this, I wanted to mention that I just played through all twenty of your levels in Super Mario Maker, and I made sure to star each and every one of them. My Wii U profile name is "Austin", so make sure to check for that when you do have the time to check your levels.

I would give Solar Beam an 8/10. The move itself has good damage, it can be really good on Sun-based teams and it is can help cover the Water-type weakness on any Fire-type Pokémon that can learn it, but the fact that it has a one turn charge-up means it can be quite unwieldy with any Pokémon outside of strong sunlight, or possibly a Power Herb.

The next move to be rated is Shell Smash.

There have been many times that people have misread or misspelled by surname, Hoople, usually as "Hopple". I've never really gotten upset or frustrated when it happens, although it does throw me off a little when it does happen. I guess that the potential confusion on their part could come from how my name is spelled, and how they may see the second "o" as a "p".

Out of those three genres, I'd say that I prefer RPGs the most. I don't really play first-person shooter games all that much, but I can have fun playing them, even if I'm not good with them. I don't really know if I've ever played any real-time strategy games, so I can't comment on how I feel about those games. I have played many RPGs in my time, and I can't really say I've played one that I've outright hated. I love RPGs for the stories that they tell, the satisfaction I get from having my characters grow more and more powerful, and the immersion that I feel when playing them.

Happy birthday, Aria. I hope that your birthday party turned out alright, and that you had fun, as well. I also hope that you'll do well with adulthood, as well - it can be difficult at times, but it isn't very hard to find happiness and enjoyment from it, either.

Happy birthday, Deg. Hope that you have a really cool Sweet Sixteen party of some sorts, and that you will enjoy yourself no matter what kind of party you have. Enjoy the rest of your teenage years, too; it won't be long until you're an adult.

If anyone's willing to do so, I'd really appreciate it if someone could send me 20k Viz for a game code that I'd like to purchase.

For me, I guess it would be SuperHalfTurretCrash64. I don't know, really, but that's the best that I could come up with.

Thanks for the words of encouragement! It's been difficult for me to find any work out where I live, but I'll make sure to stay positive, keep looking for opportunities, and pray that I'll find the job of my dreams one day.

I don't know if I would call it a "childhood dream", but for a while, I was wanting to get into game design as a career. When I got into college, I realized that I do not have the ability to do coding particularly well. While I have no clue if I will ever be able to get into that field of work in the future, right now I'm just trying to find any sort of job that would allow me to work on or with a computer; perhaps something more within the field of clerical work, since I've since found out that I do have a knack for that sort of stuff. I also wouldn't mind working with numbers and mathematics, because I find that sort of work personally satisfying.

My hobbies of choice in regards to Vizzed are listening to and rating to the songs in the Video Game Music room and looking through the different threads on the board, replying to the ones that interest me the most. I started visiting the music room when I saw the announcement regarding the Viz giveaway for rating songs, and since then I always like to go back time to time, listening to both new songs and old favorites. I have fun passing time on this site in various ways, but listening to music and visiting the board are the only things that I do enough for me to consider them hobbies.

I'm sure some of the tracks that I'm submitting have already been chosen by other users, but I might as well try anyway!

Hopefully I might be able to place, but I wish good luck to those who are also participating!

Good luck to all of those who are actively participating. I don't think I will make an effort to participate, or at least participate enough to win, I am interested in seeing what kinds of threads will be created because of this.

Congratulations for getting to 5,000 posts. That must be quite the accomplishment for you. I don't know if I have the tenacity to make that many posts, but it's really cool that you were able to make it that far.

I agree with everyone else that said that at least the new game isn't related to Sonic Boom. Considering that Sonic Team haven't put out a main series game since 2013 with Lost World, I'm interested in what they are coming up with until then. I assume that we might be getting a reveal of a game at the Sonic event happening in July, so it seems like we may not have to wait much longer to see it for ourselves.

The last game that I had played was Rhythm Heaven Megamix. The last thing I was doing in the game was working through the Perfect Challenges and working on getting more money. Seeing as I had gotten the game last Sunday, I'm still playing it on a regular basis.

Both Goomy and Stunfisk are interesting Pokémon on their own merits, but between the two, I think I'll go with Goomy. As much as I appreciate Stunfisk's design, there's something about Goomy and its evolutions that really appeals to me.

I do not have much experience with Kickstarter, seeing as I have only backed two games so far - Shantae 1/2 Genie Hero and Toejam and Earl: Back in the Groove. When Mighty No. 9 was first announced, I was wanting to back the game, seeing as it was a spiritual successor of Megaman made by Inafune himself, which seemed promising considering Capcom wasn't doing much with the franchise at the time. As hyped as I was for MN9 at that point, all of the controversial stuff that happened between then and now (licensing deals for the franchise before the game came out; the Red Ash project and the backlash it generated; the Masterclass trailer), my interest had declined bit-by-bit, but I was still hoping the game would be decent. Considering all of the mediocre to negative reviews that the game has gotten since, I cannot help but admit my disappointment, and wonder if my inability to pay for the Kickstarter was a blessing in hindsight. I'd still like to try the game for myself one of these days, but I think I'll wait until the game goes on sale or when I have more money to spend. The whole experience does seem to send a precedents about how these crowd funding projects, even when headed by prominent game developers, could always turn out below everyone's expectations. At the very least, I am glad that Kickstarter has been able to bring about great games like Shovel Knight and Freedom Planet, and I'm definitely looking forward to other, more promising ventures such as Yooka-Laylee, Bloodstained, and Shantae.

I wanted to post here because I actually liked the Vizzed page on Facebook about a week or two ago, and am currently following it through my pages feed. If you want to make sure, my Facebook account is under my real name - Austin Hoople- so check for that whenever you're able.

So I was looking into the meaning of my name, and I was surprised by how derivative my first name, Austin, was. So Austin is apparently a medieval contracted form of Augustine, which is interesting in and of itself, but Augustine is itself derived from the Roman name Augustus, which means "great" and "venerable" and is derived from the Latin word augere, "to increase." I know many people - friends, family, acquaintances - who seem to really like and respect me, so I guess the meaning fits for me.

My middle name, Thomas, comes from the Aramaic name תָּאוֹמָא (Ta'oma'), which means "twin".

I couldn't find much about my surname, Hoople, but I did find that Hooplehead is an uncommon slang term for a foolish, ridiculous, or worthless person. Sadly, I find this term suits me quite well, mostly just for how often I feel I make foolish decisions in my own life.

All of that aside, this was actually a really entertaining way to pass the time, and probably the first research I've done for anything after graduating college. It's interesting to find out those little things about yourself that you might take for granted, which somehow describe facets of your personality with startling accuracy.
