play4fun : So, if I understand you correctly, you also agree that they are 3 seperate and distinct individuals who work together as one? Because if that's the case, then we understand each other's beliefs.

play4fun : But that's my point, the doctrine of the Trinity does not teach that they are distinct beings but different forms, or parts, of the same entity. My understanding is that they are three distinct and seperate beings: The Father is His own person, the Son is His own person, and the Holy Ghost (Spirit) is seperate from the two. Jesus is the literal Son of the Father and the Holy Spirit is a seperate personage of Spirit, whose charge it is, as given by the Father, to testify of the truth to our hearts.

Has anyone considered the possibility that God (the Father), Jesus (the Son) and the Holy Spirit are 3 different beings but "one" in purpose? Like a team? God's ultimate goal, I believe, is to bring His children back into his presence. Because of man's sin there had to be an atonement. God sent His Son, Jesus, to make that sacrifice. While the Holy Spirit is there to testify of the truth and comfort us.

My understanding is just like the Savior explained while he was praying in the Garden of Gethsemane. He prayed for the people that had accepted his message. He asked the Father that "they may be one, as we are." (John 17:11) We didn't see these people suddenly meld into one unexplicable being. They were, however, united in their purpose and testimony.

I don't believe that God intended people to left in the dark on this. I believe that He is anxiously waiting for His children to discover these things through the power of the Holy Spirit.

ah....Contra. I can't tell you how many times I have coveted the Spread Gun. I always had to spend the first few minutes getting the 30 lives before I could actually start the game. Otherwise I was doomed.

Simply reply to this post and tell us what your favorite retro gaming system is and why.

For me, I like the Super Nintendo because it was the gaming system when I was really getting into gaming. This system is probably where 70% of my gaming experience.

Hey everyone!

I actually stumbled across this site and I think It's pretty cool. I can't find anyone with the 'retro' game systems anymore. It's just really nice to be able to play these older games that I grew up playing.

Happy Gaming!
