I'm heading to the anime convention NDK this week.  Since a big thing to do at Anime Conventions is to Cosplay, I was wondering if anyone has ever dressed up.  Personally, this is my second time doing it for a convention.  I did a very poor job at a Yusuke costume for a Halloween Party once.  I did Nanao from Bleach a few years ago and this year, I'm going as an Umbreon.

Ocarina of Time for me.  Though I prefer Master Quest over the original.  I've played that more than any other Zelda game.  Oracle of Seasons and Oracle of Ages would have to be a close second though.

My first Pokemon game was Yellow version, but I wouldn't call it my favorite.  I really got into the series with the Johto games, so I would have to say Crystal was my original favorite, but now it's HeartGold. Same game with some added features.  Got to love upgrades.

That's hard question.  The first one I ever played was the original, but I wasn't very good at it at the time.  Played Mario 3 a lot too... But my favorite... I really like Super Mario RPG.  I wish they would make another like it.  It was very unique for the franchise.  I enjoyed Super Mario 64 and Super Mario Sunshine also.

Kind of a hard one for me, but I would have to say first place goes to The Legend of Zelda since I've played every game for it.  Next would have to be a tie between Tales of and the Dragon Quest series.  I love those game even if they take a long time to play through.

My favorite was Double Dash and I was sad to see the system go away.  I never understood why it did so bad.  I liked being able to race with another person in the same cart.  Mario Kart 7 and Mario Kart 64 are tied for number 2 for me.

I love the Zora mask, but have to go with the Fierce Deity mask.  It is OP, but so very awesome.  Going to the trouble to get it was well worth it.

Creepiest boss was hands down Ghirahim.
In terms of creepy character... Kamaro (the dancing guy) from Majora's Mask was pretty creepy and of course, the Happy Mask Salesman.  That guy is just insane.

My favorite is easily Roxas.  I spent hours just playing the intro to KH2 just cause of him.  I got tricked into moving on by a friend.

This one is easy for me.  Lina Inverse from Slayers.  Flaming red hair and magical power to go along with it.  She is simply awesome.

I'm usually a heavy sleeper, but lately random things during the night wake me, like my cat moving or the trees hitting the house.

Button Mashing is simply terrible.  Seems to me like it is a way for someone to get more money off of you when you break a button from it.

I got my 3DS soon after release and have never regretted it.  It is awesome!  I think Kid Icarus may be my favorite game so far for it even though I bought it for Zelda.

I have a gym membership.  My parents have one as well.  Dad never uses his.  Mom and I go at least once a week for a Cycling class that her Personal Trainer teaches.  I really want to go more, but at the same time, I feel like I could work out just as hard if I joined a sports team again.

I'm getting my degree in History with a minor in English Literature.  Started out trying to get a degree in Athletic Training and Physical Education, but my mind couldn't wrap itself around anatomy.  Don't know what I will do with my degree, but I know I want to write novels someday.

There's a fair amount of gaming.  Most of the consoles belong to my brother, so when he started playing WoW, the usage dropped quite a bit, but they all still get used from time to time.

The contractor for the remodel is paying for the replacement costs.  His insurance covers it.  Of course, he's been very slow about looking into how much he needs to give us.

First of all, my house is going through major construction, so stories about things happening are not exactly an oddity.  My story is no different, but I can't help but share it.  I've even told complete strangers about it because it amuses me so much.

Here is the story:

The power was turned off while my Mom and I were away.  We didn't think much of it.  We just turned off the upstairs power strips and went about our business.  The previous time they turned the power off, a couple of the strips blew.  Something to note is that they were working on the stairs to the basement on this particular day, so we could not get to the stuff in the basement.
Sometime later... The electrician had left after giving us power again.  Dad and I were preparing to leave for our softball games and we found that the garage door wasn't going down.  This prompted further investigating.  I went downstairs.  I didn't smell anything burning.  What cued me in that something wasn't right was the Wii.  The light was not on.  This led to a through check of all the electronics in the basement.  In addition to what was found blown downstairs, I will also add what went out upstairs.

What was blown:
Wii, Xbox 360, Nintendo 64, Xbox (x2), SNES, Sega Genesis, a Direct TV box, 2 VCR/DVD players, the phone with answering machine, the garage door, the sprinkler system and the internet router (which did not go right away, but we are sure that had something to do with the surge).

What survived:

The TVs, a old stereo system, 5 disk CD changer, Recorder player, the PS2 and the NES.

The Gamecube, PS1, the newer 360 and the PS3 were fortunately not in the house (or in the Gamecube and PS1 case not plugged in) at the time.
