for some reason emulatorjs likes chromium browers better than firefox

they even added what looks like dosbox pure maybe if david could get that going maybe we could at some point be able to play some dos games even that would allow people to play games from their childhood game like jazz the jackrabbit which is just a mimic of sonic the hedgehog.
and there a fixes too so if anyone says something is not working this should fix some of those problems.

i think i there is a problem something changed even in firefox when i run emulatorjs i see a white screen then i go into the inspector and i find this message:

i think something changed more recently in the web browsers i think that firefox is affected too.

emulatorjs runs a bit slower than it does in edge i use edge as a backup
which uses the chromium engine and runs emulatorjs better like if i wanted to play the playstation games

even i test roms on the demo and everything's showing up better on the demo page i choose a version for testing with a rom of my choice and it works on there it is weird how it is having trouble running on vizzed rgr.

we are running old versions of retroarch and emulatorjs there have been a lot of updates since the last updates a lot of fixes and even now with the new stable version of emulatorjs you could switch cores for the same console so if 1 game does not work with one core it could be kind of like the rgr how sometimes there are different emulator options even if people love using emulator cheats the version we have the cheats don't work but on the newer versions that problem is fixed and the setting are in categories separated into graphics,etc so it would not hurt to still keep on eye of the projects they could make some useful updates for 2025.

a new version is out. Now you can even blacklist things you do or do not want to show up with filters.
The games and animations have been updated and new technologies are available. They were busy having their staff zip up legacy games and animations for the gamezip server to make files all in one file and make them smaller so they don't take up a lot of space on your hardrive.

and one new things is the gamezip system where are compressed in zip files and the system mounts the game or animation and it plays just like in ultimate.
the gamezip system is to makes games with multiple files into one file and with the games being compressed they take up less space on your hardrive. i should also mention the tag system you can have it not look up certain tags like if you don't like escape games you can put that tag and it will be ignored.bluemaxima showed how it works in his update from april and said he does not like escape games or cooking games or dress up games set those tags in a blacklist and they will not show up.

my controls do not work for me i tried them on my computer and my iphone and they just will not respond it is maybe just me. if you want to know information about what i running the html5 retroarch browser on windows 10 firefox 84
this computer is new but my old one was a windows 8.1 it was running and older version of firefox i blocked updates on firefox so i could still use flash and used flashpatch to use flash. And as for my iphone im running an old iphone 7 i am able to run the games but the onscreen controls do not work on any device i have maybe i am the only one having this issue.

If you are looking for portable browsers with flash/npapi support i think i help with that i found these on the internet archive and they immune to the adobe flash shutdown.

i hope this helps anyone who needs to use flash/npapi plugins i am sure that rgr plugin will run in these portable browsers just like flash does.

I have a problem the on screen buttons do not work for me i can not even navigate the menus of a game. and in game like in sonic the hedgehog 2 you should be able to jump with the a b or c buttons and they do not work sometimes i am able to move the character around but that's if i am able to get into the game.

on Friday i had my interview and they had me go to orientation today and i begin my training on Tuesday i am mostly going to roll silverware and whatever else they want me to do. so it is two hours on Tuesday and wendsday this week for training. and they pay will be good too.
this is my first real job.

i just tried to run the flash object that starts the plugin i tried running in ruffle finding out the flash files run in action script 3 and ruffle can not run these files yet so if we could find something that emulates action script 3 without needing to install too many things to make it work in the browser so what i am saying what if we had something that could work that would be able to able to emulate good enough to run the plug-in but even if the plug-in were to come back i have got a new laptop for Christmas and because of that i can not install it anyways because my last computer was running windows 8.1 but now i am windows 10 my old laptop was getting old so i had to get a new one.
where would i be able to store any games i download because now my laptop is 237 gigabytes so i wouldn't be able to download it without an external hard rive to store it on.

i have a good solution for now these are temporary fixes like one way getting around the kill switch is to change the date before January 12 that is one way.

i had to edit this post because messing with mms.cfg

file not a good idea if you are using flash apps like flashpoint because it broke for me.
good thing i had the original mms.cfg backed up
once i put back the original file it worked so do not do this you could break flash dependent apps so do not do this.
just do the date/time trick instead set it to the day before flash kill switch it works for me.
and do not forget to disable browser updates or you will lose flash support this goes for windows update as well.

hey flashpoint has been updated to 9.0
this version has new games and animations
the newgrounds section was removed but bluemaxima made this version more optimized to make it run faster some new things were added if you were to look at extreme content it will show 18 nsfw logo so you will know which games and animations are not for kids.
and other things has been updated go to the flashpoint website to see what has changed.
seems like they are more prepared for the adobe flash demise.

i have an idea ruffle can emulate adobe flash and it keeps on being improved so even after adobe flash is discontinued maybe emulate flash emulating the plug in for windows users i could see this allowing the plugin to load on windows based computer via browser (firefox,chrome,etc)
so by the end of this year it might be able to run the swf file that loads the plugin but they haven't completely worked out action script which i know that the plugin uses.
so people could still enjoy the plugin after 2020 if it comes far enough to work.

it just keeps on getting harder to post things on youtube especially because of new policies i mean article 17 an harsh anti piracy law and now age restriction has gotten worse we won't be able to watch videos on third party sites i mean a lot of people have videos on their websites and other third party sites through embed and they won't be able to do that anymore and be forced to login to your google account to watch certain videos i mean the ones that got the yellow dollar sign they wont be able watch videos unless you give them your credit card number or valid id and that's being rolled out over the next two months they said so it is like you can't really do what anymore can't make content for kids because you will lose the feature that helps you get in touch with your audience and get their feedback and as for videos for adults (18+) you really wont be able to see those anymore i mean who wants to use a credit card or state id to watch videos that should be getting traffic because of youtube policies they are slowly digging their own grave people are not going want to stick around anymore and rather check out other sites for their video sharing needs.
i feel youtube is going to loose a lot of creators and viewers if they keep doing this stuff and they will go elsewhere.

as anyone has noticed recently of the years youtube is not what it once was a place that people could be themselves and make videos for fun all you needed was a camera or make fun animation or,etc but now i am worried about the state of youtube has gotten bad i mean like even mcjuggernuggets does not upload that much to youtube anymore because he can not make the content he wants to make anymore he said a lot of negative things about the platform and that is the same guy behind the psycho series and all his other series and don't forget a lot of channels were deleted without warning like leafyishere i mean back in the day he would roast youtubers or what you might be called a cyberbully but recently he toned down his content and talked more about the stock market and there is someone else that does not get freedom on the site anymore like rackaracka they are the ones who did the ronald mcdonald videos that are age restricted on youtube but now they are on storyfire created by mcjuggernuggets aka jessie ridgeway but the only difference between youtube and storyfire is that you have to fill out this form to see if you get picked for uploading privileges but on youtube you could just upload right away but he gives uploading privileges to his friends from youtube like kidbehindacamera,larrys lounge,boogie298,etc so they could upload because they are friends with him.he claims it will beat youtube even his dad said i could fail and he should still do youtube as a fallback and still do youtube with the family because he said to him if you come back this is the family channel we all share it so that means he has to share with his parents too so you know they from time to time still do psycho videos because everyone likes those but come on they want to be big on youtube and get lots of attention like kidbehindacamera and angry grandpa did so they are on both platforms i think they just like the watch views going up for the money i think kidbehindacamera and bridgete west might need the money because they have a kid now so to finish this.
i am not sure if storyfire can keep burning or if eventually have the same fate as other sites that compete with youtube if they let everyone upload maybe i could be the first step for replacing youtube.

just wanted to give everyone the heads up about the new update i am not exactly to sound like i am advertising another site i am just trying let everyone know this web archive allows you to see technologies that have been discontinued or still being used so history stays alive so anyone could enjoy the software as long as extreme mode stays turned off you wont get any adult content in games or animations that are not family friendly avoid those if you wish to upload a video onto sites like youtube or live stream on twitch to avoid getting into trouble.other than that it is great software i would recommend it to anyone who likes games/animations made in these technologies flash and shockwave are my favorites.

they are still working hard on this project everyone that is doing their part especially the curators and those that work on the launcher and make sure players works so the games and animations will work but it is worth it every new version has new curations and i keep seeing more stuff added all the time after awhile they always come up with new features as well.

hi just wondering if anyone here heard of otronicon it is a four day event just got back from the final day there were retro games on the first floor there were arcade cabinets and those classic snes/genesis/nes things set up and on those things i saw allot of the same games in the retro game room all the games are rented from a local arcade company called arcade monsters which were i spent allot of my time and there were other exhibits simulators and interactive stuff and indie games as well this event happens every year in January and its for anyone that likes video game and tech lovers alike. has anyone else been to otronicon? if you live in Florida then it is worth it.
