A guide for the Mame emulator

Hidden Bonus Items Part 2

Trip 2 round 5 - Town stage

I'm not full 100% on the exact placing of the bonus items on this level. All I can share is that sometimes the first hydrant will give you the water helmet and sometimes its the 3rd hydrant.(same rules apply like level 1 if you die bonuses are not possible)that is all I have managed to discover at the moment.

Useful tip-Jump onto the first hydrant and it should fire a burst of water either left or right. After this burst slightly jump to the edge of the hydrant and you should activate a water burst that goes straight up. Use this to elevate you on to the tops of the house for fast traveling through the first part of this round.

1 power pill in this round

Trip 2 Round 6 - Forest stage

Have not manages to find anything on this round .

1 power pill on this round

Trip 2 Round 7 - Ship level

There a 3 hydrants on this level and any may or may not move you will have to check them all. If you do manage to move any you will get the invisibility bonus from it

There is not a power pill on this level.

Collect the toy ships to extend the middle walkway way making the jump you will have to do shorter.

Trip 2 round 8 - Return Home Stage

The bonus for this round is after you have passed the lake and back on land just before you enter the forest there is a single cactus. It is sometimes the cactus or 1 of the first 3 stumps. If any of them move you will be given the balloon bonus. When activated the stump or cactus will release 8 different coloured balloons the fly in different direction's. All balloons give 1000 points except 1 random balloon gives 7654 points. This bonus works even if you died on in the round

They some good points and some bad. One of the good points is that if you don't play the game very often  is does not matter. For example when I working long night shifts all week and catching up with friends and family over the weekend I was not worried about how little is was playing or if I still had an active subscription. But when I was playing a sub game  its was annoying pay for a month sub just an couple hour at the weekend. The down side is the lack of items available on free to play game and the disadvantage you have and against those who are willing to buy the items.

Chindogu : does anyone know if banksy has ever been charged for any of the illegal pictures he has don'e over the years? weather its a an unreadable word or a stencilled rat on a wall its is still criminal damage and should be treated in the same manor. The local councils who remove the graffiti are making the problem worse because if you paint over a tag to remove it all you are doing is giving the taggers a nice freshly painted canvas to do it again and again.

My favourite operating system is Ubuntu which is by far the most stable and worked on lixus operating system. I have in stalled on all computers except the 1 I game with. It is easier to use a Microsoft operating to play games on because if there isn't a Linux version of the game I am wanting to play then you have to start using a programme called wine because of the direct x drivers. Linux and Mac operating systems use open GL. But more and more game companies are releasing Linux versions of games. Maybe one day I won't need to use a windows operating system and that possibility makes me so happy.

For anyone who has always want check out a Linux operating you can without having to install or change anything on your computer. Follow the link below to learn how boot try out version from a pen drive.

CPU will only fit in mother boards with the same chip set every chip set has different pins. I have build many computers over the years and there is never 100% will work even with components direct from the manufacturer. As long as you take the necessary action to fit the component correctly and with the right tools then you've done every thing you can. In my opinion the first time you boot up after the install you should only use 1 memory stick in slot 1 and the HDD with your operating system on and pre download all your drivers for all components before the swap over and store them on a pen drive. So if it doesn't boot up then you know the problem is only with what is plugged into the mobo. Just remember computer can be so fickle I've been doing a repair and everything iv'e tried to do to fix the system will just not work. So I shut everything down and pull out the power cable and went out for the night. The following day I powered the computer up and I booted straight away.
Just one more thing have you checked the compatibility with you memory and graphics card as well, its always worth checking just make sure you know every will work together. If you do have any problems feel free to drop me a private message and I will help out anyway I can

Good luck

Hi comrades, I was looking through your database of games to check on a PlayStation 1 game which I think is rare game  to see what value it had. But the it is not listed on the format I own. It is list on other formats but not mine. The only reason I think of is that it was a UK/Europe release only. The game is

Last night a friend of mine shown me a few videos on graffiti art from the taggers perspective and it opened my eyes, not only the skill level involved but also the unwritten code and ethics of a true graffiti artist. I agree that it is vandalism if done on property that does not belong to you.  1 of England's well known artist/street artists as he is know. Isn't he nothing more a law breaking vandalising criminal?. But people say he is a street artist and pay thousands for his work.why? Because his work is thing that the every day person can relate to like people and animals so it is socially accepted.  But then you have the old school style of graffiti which is a usually one or two words words referring to a single persons name or the crew name o
F which a group of taggers call them self's,  just like a guild name or clan name in the gaming world. They are both done on other peoples property  which is illegal but the general thought about classic graffiti is that it should be removed and the people who have done it should be prosecuted.

What do you think about graffiti if done properly do you this look good?  Would you call it art and are the people artist or criminals?

Can some tell me why in the turbo graphics version of pac land that my guide is not there. If there is a problem then I can change  it so it can be accessed. Yes I do agree it is the same guide but I personally checked that the information is correct and the turbo grafx users won't know about the post in the mame version of the game. Even though the game play is exactly the same I  can give 1 thing which is totally different which makes the games different. I'll not share this difference just yet I may help me out at some point.

I am a drummer and I love electric drum kits (not that I hate acoustic drum kits) but there is so much hostility towards electric kits and I can't understand why there is so much hatred towards them. So people say that its cheating (how can you cheat when there is no rules in music), others say they would laugh if they went to gig and the drummer was using an electric kit and some have said that there band mates would refuse to play with them at a gig if they turned up with an electric kit. I have a totally different view which is buying one has been the best thing I have ever done and this is why.

I first started drumming on plastic bins way back in 1994 when I was 17 years on and 6 months later bought my 1st kit. In England there is not a lot of space so people live very close to each other so when I played my drums for the 1st time in my property it lasted no more that 20 mins and my neighbours where hammering at the front door because of the noise. So only 1 option hire a room so I can play. So me and my band mates hired a room once a week for 4 hours and that's how much practice I was getting far from ideal but better than none. We continued this for about 2 years and then the we split up. So my drumming stopped there as I could not afford to pay for the room on my own and drumming at home was not an option. 5 years went by with drums sat in the corner of my bedroom where every day when I woke up I was reminded that I'm not drumming. Then a found a few people who where wanting to start a band so I joined them and my playing days started again, but this time we hired a room once a week for 8 hour. Twice as much playing time but which was good but still I was a little jealous of the guitarist and bassist who could pick there instalment up at any time and play (I dreamed of being able to do that) but I couldn't so I just enjoyed what was available to me. This band lasted for about 2 1/2 years before it ended and I was back to looking at it every day in the corner of the room. That was around 2004 over the next several years my drums was used once. It was torture looking at my drums which I loved playing so much but I couldn't because of the noise. I use to think to myself "what have I done to deserve this" it made so sad that it got to a point where I gave my drums away I could not stand to look a the thing a loved so much. Eventually I came to terms with the fact that I would never play the drums again. This was 2009/10. Over the years I use to day dream about my perfect world where I could play the drums when ever I wanted but it was just a dream. Several months later totally out of the blue a friend of a friend who had a really low quality electric kit he didn't use any said I could have his kit. I couldn't believe how kind this was from a person I had only known about 3/4 weeks. I took it home and set it up and then the brain started to fail but this wasn't a problem because I was playing even though it was silent it was still set up like a kit would be. I played on this kit for a while but the hard plastic pads started to hurt my thumbs.so I just played now and then when I could motivate myself to have a go. Then at the end of 2013 I seen my guitarist from my 1st bad way back in the 90's and he invited my round to one of his friends. As soon as I walked through the door I was given a bongo and we jammed out for over 6 hours playing all my favourite songs even though I messed a lot of the songs up the guitarist did care. That night I remembered why I loved drumming so much I said to myself "I'm going to buy an electric drum kit as I knew the technology and the quality of the kits was good". I saved every spare penny for a month and sold my metal detector and my friend the old band mate pulled out £120 and gave it to me towards my drum kit. With the money I had I bought a Alesis dm5 Pro a double bass pedal and a way we went. I managed to find an Alesis drum amp on eBay for £40. Finally I was given back my love, passion which I had been deprived of all these years. Life could not get any better I was living my dream. I can honestly say I've progressed more in 6 moths of playing my DM5 pro than I have in the last 20 years. That is why I love electric drum kits I would not change it for the world.

Hi fellow  member I would like to ask what your opinion is on this idea. I live in the U.K which is around 5 to 8 hours in front of members who live in the U.S. My suggestion is to possibly put some kind of icon or abbreviation  in the information when looking at the members page. This is so I can identify other member from the U.K and Europe to add to my friends list because the people will be using vizzed around the same time as myself. And I think this help improve my vizzed gaming by being able to if a lot of the people on friends list live close to myself.

So here is my list of  bands I think shaped the scene and the industry through the 1990's to about 2013. Please Vote accordingly.

If I've missed any out that you think should be on there please comment and vote.

This will be quite interesting.... m/

Hidden Items that HELP

In Pac land there are multiple hidden secretes to help, some give you helpful bonus items that give you a beneficial buff, some advance you to forward to the next level and some give you bonus time or points. I just a matter of moving items that you have to jump over.eg fire hydrants, cactus and tree stumps.
Below is a list of the thing that I know off from playing this game since I was about 10 years old.

Trip 1 Round 1

The very first hydrant you have to jump over gives you a water crash helmet. This absorbs any youngling's that are dropped from the planes that normally would kill you now gives you 300 points for each 1 that hits your crash helmet. Such an helpful item (In my opinion the best hidden item in the game). If you don't die this item will last until trip 2 or round 4.
IF YOU DIE BEFORE GETTING THE HELMET THE HYDRANT WILL NOT MOVE,SO NO HELMET.

Also to make bonus fruit appear jump on top of the hydrant to make fruit appear in the widows of the buildings the value of the fruit depends on how many you collected.1st fruit gives 100 points then 200,500 and 1000 points for the 4th. Then the points cycle starts again.

When you collect a power pill if you kill the 4 ghosts that are in cars and kill the one that follows you last you will get a time and points bonus. Any time you have remaining will be converted to points and the timer back to full. As there are 2 power pills on this round there is possibility for some big bonus points, as you get 200,400,800,1600 and 3200 points for all 5 ghosts. As well as the bonus time remaining converted to points if you get sue last(the 1 that follows you). But this isn't easy to do can cause you to die trying to do this.

Trip1 round 2

There are 2 possible hidden bonuses in this round. The first is the 2nd cactus you jump over and it is slightly taller than the 1st one. Jump over the cactus and push it to the left of the screen. (This doesn't always work). If it does the bonus is that you are flipped and run backwards it is like your doing Michael Jackson's moonwalk.

The 2nd possible bonus is just as you enter the Forrest the 2nd or 3rd tree stump. Jump over the stump and push it to the left if it moves the bonus is that you are flipped upside down. This means that you jump downwards instead of upwards. CRAZY

You will be able to activate one or the other but not both.

1 power pill on this round

Trip 1 round 3

The only bonus on this round is after you have exited spinning log canyon there a 2 cactus before you jump the lake one of these moves to give you an invisibility bonus which lasts about 20 seconds.

1 power pill on this round

Trip 1 round 4 (magic boots)

There is one bonus on this round. As you jump over the 3rd cactus walk into the 4th and a extra life icon will float back towards the start of the round.

1 power pill on this round
