Try Using DS4Windows. I had the same issue with other games, If that doesn't work then try a different USB cable to be hooked up to your computer. |

![]() Madness Cubed is an action game developed by Nobodyshot (Who I work for) and was released on May 12'th 2016 Madness cubed is a pretty good attempt at a zombie shooter sandbox game but falls short in many ways i'll talk about in this short review. Firstly lets start with the basics. Madness cubed offers a WIDE variety of game modes. You have Missions, Building, TDM, CTF, Zombie Survival and hunger games! There is a really big variety of modes! And with that I'll be reviewing each one so lets start with Missions. The missions in Madness Cubed are incredibly basic. Firstly you have 7 chapters to choose from, each one harder than the last. However most of the levels consist of finding documents and items.. Which isn't really that fun. But once you get into the later chapters the game becomes a blast! And whats best is that you can do these with friends! ![]() The missions can sometimes be unimaginative and boring. But there are some really great missions! And what makes it better is the ability to ride and drive alot of the vehicles and mechs offered! CTF Capture the flag is a pretty basic mode. You capture the flag and bring it to your base! What makes this one different is the vehicles in the maps! There are mechs you can get into during fights and you can still kill them and take the flag! FFA Free For all is the games deathmatch mode. You kill whoever you see! Hunger Games Weapons are scattered across the map and you must find them to kill others and be the last one standing! Zombie Survival Its as basic as it gets. Zombie survival... ![]() And of course building. Madness cubed offers custom maps created by the community! in which you can play with friends in! Its really nice actually and is quick to find a map you haven't been to yet! You also have a HUGE arsenal of weapons to use! ![]() They can be used in any situation such as PVP, Missions or zombie survival! It can get really hectic especially with the games destructible environment! Just about anything can be destroyed and its pretty cool! Now, the game can get dull really really quickly and isn't as known. You get about 500,1,000 players per day and most of which are either building or doing missions. And you cant really communicate with them either. Not to mention the games poor translation which I do intend to help on. But still the game can be much better, such as sounds and graphics. The graphics are incredibly basic and even the models are taken (or seem so) from a game called Digger Online. And the sounds are very low quality and basic that it hurts to hear sometimes. Especially when all you hear are grunts from zombies. However that doesn't stop the game from being a blast at times! Even with all of this the game can be pretty fun! Now this review was pretty short I know because there isn't much to the game worth talking about. But! If I were you I'd check out this games successor! which is Kuboom! But don't let that discourage you from getting this game on a sale because it can last you for a while! especially when you're bored and want something to do for a little while! ![]() Madness Cubed is an action game developed by Nobodyshot (Who I work for) and was released on May 12'th 2016 Madness cubed is a pretty good attempt at a zombie shooter sandbox game but falls short in many ways i'll talk about in this short review. ![]() Cortex Command is a side-scrolling action game developed by Data Realms. Cortex Command has received negative reviews from critics and Mixed reviews from users. Gameplay Cortex Command's gameplay can be.. Confusing at times. Its controls are okay but its mission structure can be all over the place sometimes. However! You will get used to it after a couple of hours of playing. You may even consider it to be quite fun. The game has certain missions. The one i'll talk about here is Skirmish mode. Skirmish/Scenario mode is a game type where you can choose which level/style a mission can take. There are prison breaks, defense , zombies and more. Scenario mode is basically a free mode and for newer players I recommend fooling around there as its very very fun! You get to feel the mechanics a little and it can help you out later on! There is a campaign mode However that consists of guarding or controlling a brain. The brain is you and if the brain dies or is destroyed then the mission is a failure. But thats the short way of explaining it. The campaign is a turn based type and is really good! You see, First you find the place to want to scan. Scanning will allow you to build your base there. Then you wait for an ingame day and this is where the fun starts. Designing your base in this game is really good and very fun! You get to place soldiers and equip them with weapons! even add vehicles and gas for explosions! maybe even have a weapons locker! Then to start you simply must have a brain soldier and you're set! On the next day you're able to attack the enemy base. And if you do so successfully then you get the base! And if you failed (like me) then you wont.. Anyway then after you attack the enemy base its time for you to defend your base from attackers! which I successfully did! And it was a blast to do! and whats better is that you can keep going until you have lots of bases captured or if you run out of gold. Which is also another element to the game, money management. During base raids you can call in more weapons or people to help you out if your weapon gets lost or your people die, and in order to do that you must have enough gold to cover the costs of the shipping. This is where the mining element comes in and it really plays out well. During these times you can use your mining gun to mine out gold and other items. Once you do it gets added to your currency amount. The turn base element along with the sanbox-ish base building system is really great and makes for a unique experience. And I can't talk about gameplay without mentioning the physics engine. This games physics engine is really in-depth and satisfying to play around with. The gore, mining system, destructible environment all make for a great engine. And best of all is that with the engine each and every game is different. You will never have a similar outcome to another and it is amazing. Especially for a game that has been in development for over a decade! (Started Development in 2001 and was released in 2012) All in all the gameplay can be a bit cluttered at times. But you will get used to and you will have lots of fun! And theres more, and just the icing on the cake they even added LOCAL MULTIPLAYER! Thats right! you can enjoy PVP or Co-op with your pals! And its really fun! Its compatible with just about every scenario you could think of! Its a blast and wasn't even required but the developers put it in anyway! When its bad, its pretty bad, but when its good you will have the time of your life! But wait, that isn't all! Theres a little something that happened. Something great called.. ![]() Yes! this game has community content support! And with that always comes amazing things! We get to have new scenario battles, new weapons and soldiers to use! And even new stories! Yes there are custom campaigns here! with dialogue and other things! The workshop basically breathes so much life! and is impossible to play the game without! (well nearly impossible) you will find hours and hours of enjoyment here especially with all of the community content! And best of all, there are ingame editors! So you can easily create your own custom content! ![]() So the gameplay is a solid 8/10! It has its fair share of issues but when they are not focused on and all you focus on is the fun then you are set to have fun! Sound Design This game has some alright sounds, the main menu theme is alright nothing special here. Graphics The graphics in this game are pretty good in my opinion! The game's pixel style may not seem like much but it fits into the environment pretty well! especially when there is alot going on! ![]() ![]() The game can get chaotic and with its destruction you'd think it'd lose its graphical quality. But no! It seemlesly into the game and its environment! The graphics are pretty good and get a 7/10! Story The story in this game is pretty forgettable but it is there so here it is! "In earths final hours the only things Human had were bold descisions and one was made as a last ditch effort, As the earth was fighting the survivors implemented their brains into robots, and soon there were multiple people living inside multiple robots. More spirit than flesh. And so after the escape through this method long rocket ships flying through space were no longer needed for life support with the new bodies. However humanity struggled for a while attempting to settle in with aliens on other planets. However human nature wasn't gone completley, for every city and space station there compounded hunger for resources. This became a huge issue so there was a gold rush for commanders from several rival groups. So we prepare for Cortex Command" I wrote that in my own words, so the story sounds pretty cool but is ultimately forgettable as the campaign doesn't really shine much light on its lore which is a real shame. So yeah.. Story was pretty great in my opinion but wasn't executed properly... Verdict Cortex Command is a very fun game but is very troubled aswell, mainly where the story and controls are concerned. But should you buy it? Yes! But wait for a sale! The game was free (which is when I got it) for the weekend but when the game goes on sale once its successor comes out (Which isn't confirmed to happed but most likley will) then I'd reccomend picking it up! ![]() Cortex Command is a side-scrolling action game developed by Data Realms. ![]() Overgrowth is an action-platformer game created by Wolfire Games and was released on October 16th 2017. Overgrowth is the sequel to the 2005 action game Lugaru. NOTE: This game contains gore and is not for the faint hearted Gameplay Overgrowths gameplay is simple to use, hard to master. In Overgrowth and Lugaru rather than clicking to do fighting combos you hold the action button and use direction keys to fight! Overgrowth combat is dependant on your characters stance and direction. Overgrowths combat is really unique and is smooth and fluid. So is its platformer sections! Overgrowth is also built around parkour and the games parkour is very very smooth and fluid. Much like Lugaru there were many platformer sections but Overgrowth takes them up a whole lot. In overgrowth you have your standard Jump and Climb obstacles, but you also have your Wall-run obstacles! (Which wasn't in Lugaru) and whats great is that you can incorporate these parkour in combat! So you can wall-run and jump off and then do a power kick and send the enemy flying. There are also multiple modes too. You have 3 stories. Wolfire/Overgrowth campagin, Lugaru Campaign and Therium 2 campaign. You also have the arena and 2 player modes! Arena is your standard survival--like mode you know see how long you can survive and such. ![]() You have a Arena isn't anything special. Unless you do something special which I will touch on later. Now the stories are quite cool actually. I will cover that later though. I do wanna talk about a few more unique things. Unlike most games (and its predecessor) Overgrowth doesn't use regular health mechanics. Overgrowth's health system is Skeletal based - This is what makes the combat you unique, you can hit a sweet spot on an enemy to take them out easier. It doesn't only apply to the enemies; It applies to you too. So if you flip while you are about to hit the ground at a fast speed, you're dead. That also fits into weapon play - weapons in this game is really great just like the combat! the controls really don't change that much but the gameplay changes alot. With the weapons you can easily kill enemies; but thats not the fun part - the fun part is where you fight the enemies, you can really feel the hits like you're using it. When you block it feels like you're blocking it mainly thats on the sound design but the swordplay is so satisfying. The slices look real the game feels great. Well, most of the combat sounds kinda hard? but the thing is Overgrowth offers different play styles (Like MGSV) you dont have to run up all the time, you could sneak your way through or stealth kill your way through by slicing and snapping necks! You can pick and choose which one you want when you want! Its not too bad! Now, I cant talk about gameplay without mentioning the workshop. The Overgrowth workshop is really amazing, its actually good like it makes up a majority of the game and when I say that I don't mean that the base content offered isn't good enough or that it isn't enough but its for people who have beaten all 3 stories. You have some well made mods such as. Yeah, Overgrowths community makes the best things especially the new modded arenas. Oh my GOD, those are the best. And you know what else? Overgrowth offers 2 Player support! Yeah! 2 player versus! Unfortunately you cant do co-op (Atleast I don't know any way to). You have a collection of mods. From characters to levels its just really good. And by characters I mean characters The entire gameplay of Overgrowth is really great. I love it so much. It offers alot too. Gameplay/Depth/Addictiveness - 8/9/9 Stories Now as mentioned before Overgrowth offers 3 stories. 1 of which is a fan campaign (fanpaign). Im gonna try my hardest to not spoil anything but if you want you can skip this section. Story 1 - Overgrowth Overgrowth's story follows a Rabbit named Turner, who is a war veteran who is fighting to stop his race from being enslaved by Wolves,Rats and other races. Turner Immediately gets into trouble as soon as he arrives onto the new island of White Flags after the events of Lugaru. Upon arriving in White Flags he is met with a group who raided the village to take slaves with them. Turner chases them down and sets the story of the game. Overgrowth's story I feel was really really good. It was a nice story, and even had some nice twists too. The only complaint is that it had a cliffhanger just like Lugaru, and I wouldn't mind if I didn't have to wait a decade to find out what happened to Turner. This story seems to be an allegory for Racism and it kinda falls flat on that front but you can enjoy it without looking on that aspect. The characters you meet during the story are really cool and Overgrowth also has a really great backstory to everything. There are comics which explain most of the things that happened in the universe and why things are the way they are now. Story 2 - Lugaru The prequel to Overgrowth - Lugaru follows Turner who is fighting for revenge after his village is raided and his family and friends are killed in the raid. Lugaru's story is really great and also has unique backstory. And has a nice twist and technically 2 endings. There are complaints though, like how Overgrowths Lugaru campaign remaster changes ALOT of plot points. Like the main enemy is Story 3 - Therium 2 The fan campaign and Sequel Therium, Therium 2 follows YOU as you were suddenly taken to prison and framed for crimes you never committed. You need to get back to home by any means necessary. But along the way you uncover the secrets of Preuwyn and find more characters who help and hinder you along the way. Therium 2's story is AMAZING. And Its lore is very deep - Therium 2 is a really ambitious and long fan campaign. Infact the developers even enjoyed it so much that it is now included within Overgrowth's installation! And is the largest and longest fan campaign in Overgrowth's history. Now it comes with complaints aswell. The beginning tutorial seems useless because most users would have already beaten or started Overgrowth's original story, so they would have already played the tutorial. But thats not the only big part - the next issue is that the area is really large and doesn't give you the directions you need. And sometimes (Like the original Overgrowth story) the levels are really huge and incorporate lots of enemies which could be a problem. And I have heard complaints on the length of the story (40+ levels) but the story length isn't an issue when the universe of Therium is a vast one. But Therium 2's story was the most enjoyable and you would most likley be playing this one after you have beaten both stories. Overgrowth has 3 stories which are great and fun on their own, the length of the entire game (all stories) would be about 8-10 hours. Story 1 - 5-6 hours Story 2 - 20-30 minutes Story 3 - 4-5 hours These stories are diverse and have alot of lore behind them so for that the stories get their own rating. Story 1 - 7/10 Story 2 - 7.5/10 Story 3 - 8/10 Sound/Graphics The sounds for this game are PERFECT. The cracks, The smacks, The cuts, The Gush! They feel so great to hear! Hearing the snap of a neck as you kick it feels great! Even the Sound producer made a video on how he made the sound effects! They feel so natural! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JEWC82lRRZ8 As for the graphics. The graphics are beautiful. For a game that was in development for 8+ years the Phoenix engine makes things look great! And for the gore. OH THE GORE! The visuals and sound design are TOP NOTCH! Sound/Graphics - 9/10 ![]() Overgrowth is a really great game, especially since it was in development for nearly 10 years. The gameplay is fluid, the community is great. Developers are active and are supportive! Should you buy Overgrowth? YES! Overgrowth is a Must buy for anyone who is a fan of parkour and action - Get this game and support its developers! ![]() Overgrowth is an action-platformer game created by Wolfire Games and was released on October 16th 2017. |

Blockstorm is a First person shooter game developed by Ghostshark Games and Published By Indiegala Lets Get Riiiight into this review! not Drama But a Review. Gameplay The gameplay in blockstorm is pretty "strategic" i guess you can say. When you begin a Match you have a Skin and a Loadout. The loadout will allow you to With each weapon comes with a scale of its weight if you carry too much weight on you then you will be slow but have heavy weapons to deal more damage. However if you equip light weapons you will be able to move faster, but have weapons that deal less damage. So you have to find that Perfect loadout to fit Juust Right. Thats. Now for general gameplay its your run up the mill FPS. Except with some more gamemodes. Since the community is NOT alive at ALL I could only get in Team Deathmatch servers so thats what i'll be reviewing. Of course TDM is basic, you kill people to gain more points for your team. the team with most points wins. Pretty Standard Right? Yeah. There is a Capture the Flag mode but it is filled with hackers. CTF Is also a basic gamemode. You grab the opposite teams flag and take it to your "Holder" the team with the most flags win. Yeah, the gameplay is basic and smooth as silk and i love it! Now, you do die way to fast and at times can be a bit fast paced. But, what really makes this game good is! Its destructible enviroment and Level editors! Its destructible environment allows for more strategy and tactical gameplay. So, if someone is taking cover behind something. Just blow it up! and the physics aren't like Minecraft where the blocks don't fall down. in this game they do. and they kill too. This game can be compared to Ace of spades. But the difference is that the game wasn't bought out by Jagex and turned into garbage and the community is different. Anyways the gameplay is Solid! and thats why it earns a 8/10! Sound Its okay, nothing like Battlefield Hardline's Sound But! it does match the blocky gameplay. 7/10 Community The community is Kinda Dead. Not many active players is the reason why i couldn't put more gamemodes in. However! there is a blockstorm forum which is active enough to tell me how the community is. They are Nice! Very nice and not "That" Cancerous. They will help you if you are in need of some assistance and are overall awesome peeps to talk to. They would even do requests! Requests for what you may ask? Custom Items Thats right! Not just your ordinary Custom skins. No, Custom Skins, items and Maps! You can build them yourself right in the game! how awesome is that! and on the forums you can request skins if you can't do 'em yourself! and it doesn't change the damage of weapons or anything! its very awesome and more games need this feature it would be so good! and the game is actually buit around this feature so it doesn't feel shoehorned in! however there are issues with this feature. Like every game with custom items and skins there are of course going to be one of those "people" who make explicit items and skins. And since this game is no longer being "Monitored" the devs and moderators are all gone so poeple just take advantage of that and do whatever they want which is kind of an issue. Other than that this feature is Awesome! Graphics The graphics in blockstorm are.. Well.. Blocks! its in the title! So, the graphics are really basic and not heavy. The game wont be Next Gen but it goes well with the gameplay. Since the weapons and characters are made of blocks! everything fits! Graphics get a 6/10 for that. Verdict Should you get blockstorm? Yeah! its worth your Viz or money! the customization and community make up the game and it becomes a blast to play especially with friends! So, Yeah! its awesome and you should get it! Kuboom is a First Person Cross-Platform 3D Hurricane shooter Developed and Published by my friends at Nobodyshot! Hello and welcome to my Kuboom Review! If ya Like i- Forget the introduction lets just get into the review! And Yes I am friends with one of the devs but that doesn't mean that i wont point out the cons or say anything negative. Gameplay The Gameplay is really simple and straight forward. You have a gun, you gotta shoot people and kill them to get a higher score and win! atleast for deathmatch mode. For Bomb/Elimination mode which is like Counter Strike you either kill or be killed. Or plant the bomb, because there are no respawns. Those are at the moment the only game modes. in the future will be Way More! So, where is the is the variety? the variety are the players! players can have different weapons and it makes the game more difficult. Which IMO is really good. and also there are a few maps to play on too! Bridge - A Large bridge. One side is the red spawn, the other side is the blue spawn. Assault - the classic map from the Counter Strike Series Arena - An Arena! It has a Battle Ground for on the boots fighting and a "Top" area for snipers to snipe people! Dust - A Classic Map from The Counter Strike Series Dust 2 - A Classic Map from The Counter Strike Series Port - A Classic Map from The Counter Strike Series Inferno - Umm, Its like a Graveyard, but with alot of fire. Sontar - Its like a futuristic version of port but instead in a spaceship or something.. Pool - A Classic Map from the counter strike series Mansion - A Classic Map from The Counter Strike Series and about 3 or 4 more maps that i forgot the name of.. The gameplay is like i said earlier basic. And thats not a bad thing! So gameplay gets an 7/10! Sound The Sound effect in the game are "Ok" at best. It really doesn't give off a crackle... BUT THAT WILL BE CHANGED! I have sent the developer a sound pack and it will be used in later And as an extra in this category Animations! The animation are also not that good. BUT THAT WILL ALSO BE CHANGED! With a later the sound design currently is "Ok" So it gets a 6/10 General Here Are just somethings about the game that you may wanna know. Im doing this quick because I have to go somewhere soon. -There is No Crouch currently -Not Many Original maps -Game is very well balanced -There are Not Many Players -Physics Are Funny -Devs are VERY Nice and will help you if you have an issue. I might even help you! -Game is on mobile -What is a hurricane shooter? -Game is constantly -Devblogs are coming soon (every Friday) -Game is Fun -Capture the Flag is coming soon -Kuboom has a youtube Channel (KuboomTV) -If you report a bug for the game you might recieve a Bonus ingame Those are some really quick things you may wanna know. Should you get it? Yeah! its really fun! Especially since it is free and the devs are nice and they listen to the community and the game is constanly updating which gives it a fresh experience and I am always excited for the Bonus - Depth This game has some depth in what you can do. First there are skins! they are all cosmetic of course but offer a bit of player variety. there are also weapons and currency in the game. so you dont always have to spend Real money. However you do have to spend real money for packs. But that is COMPLETELY optional and it is not pay to win. Mainly because the game is well balanced. Bonus - Community Alright, the community is Okay! and nearly non-existent but the game is growing! and really fast too! and it makes the developer very happy! and the dev also has a suggestion thread in which you can post Ideas for the game! Right now they are focusing on balance and its going quite well. And the community are really nice to eachother. But half of the community is russian (They come from the web browser version on VK according to the dev) but there are english players too! Payday 2 Is a First Person Co-Op Game Developed By Overkill Software and Published By 505 Games. Payday 2 Is Also a Sequel to Payday: The Heist. Gameplay In Payday 2 the Game starts off in a ![]() Once You ![]() You Have Some Options to choose from. Loadout: This is where you customize your Loadout For the Heist. Assets: This is for special things you'll be looking for in the heist. for example a briefcase you will need in a heist. if you dont look at the assets then its kind of like going in blind. you wont know what briefcase you are looking for. if you used the assets it will show a picture of the briefcase. and since you can only look at the assets once. it makes it a bit challenging. Soundtrack: (Not Shown in image above) Lets you choose the soundtrack of your heist. When you enter a heist then you are greeted one more time of your mission briefing then you are set to do the heist. Upon Starting you are given a set of instructions. (Get the thermal Drill, Sabotage the EMP, Disable Anti-Aircraft device, etc..) and you also start in "Casing Mode" ![]() Casing Mode is when you check out the place before you start to do the heist. its like staking it out. knowing where the guards are and everything. if you didn't plan in the lobby then you can plan one final time in casing mode. In the Heist example I'm doing (Bank Job) You must grab the thermal drill to get started. So you must put on your mask. Putting your mask on starts the heist. so you have 2 options. Stealth, or Loud. If you go with stealth, you will have to avoid guards and cameras to complete the heist. If you go with loud, you will have to well, go loud! Shoot all your guns and Kill all the guards. Also, if things do get out of hand there are solutions. Alright, The game also has some unique mechanics that come into place. Whenever your health is low and you get downed, you must be healed in 30 seconds or you will be put in custody. Get downed too many times (3) then you will be put into custody. But! you can still get back into the game by cuffing hostages. when you enter the bank you can yell "Get Down!" and all civilians within the bank will get on the ground. ![]() Now If you don't keep the hostages in check Either they will run off or the cops will take them. So, to keep them from running you can tie them up. you can also use the handcuffs from dead cops. However tying them up will stop them from running away but the cops and come and uncuff/untie them. So you still need to check on them from time to time. How does the hostage mechanic help? Whenever you get put into custody IF you tied any civilians up then the AI or your Friends will Trade the Hostage in.Therefore you can continue the Heist. Drilling. When you throw the thermal drill into place you will have to start drilling Just like The Hostages, the drill you have to keep checking on it. and if you dont then you will have to restart the drill. When I say restart the drill I dont mean from the beginning. you Restart the drill from the last Position it was at. The cops can also disable it too. And Once the Bank Vault is open you are able to Bag the Money. Once you bag the Money, you take it to the Escape Van. ![]() You Have Done The Heist Successfully! Yay! So Heist Money and You! 80% of you Money you earned goes into your Offshore bank account, which is used to buy more heists. the other 20% is your spending money, which you can spend on gear and other things. Skill Points Whenever you level up, you get a skill point. Skill points are used to upgrade your character to help during heists. Sound The Sound in Payday 2 Is Great! I love hearing the Guns Fire it just sounds so good! The Soundtrack though... ITS LIKE HOTLINE MIAMI! ts Awesome! I love it and it shapes the Mood So well! Its So Good! More Games Need This! Difficulty This game is crazy hard! You have to watch for enemies on all sides make sure the drill doesn't get stopped or jammed and Keep the Civilians in Check. Easier Said than Done! if you love hard games then Play This game. Trust me. DLC Now I normally Never Ever EVER Buy DLC for ANY game. But, this one just magically made my wallet come out of my pocket and the Hotline Miami DLC pack was available InGame. The DLC for this game is AMAZING! Like The DLCs Normally consist of are Character Packs New Weapons New Heists The Heists and Weapons Are AWESOME! Like THe Recently released biker Pack, Which includes an Awesome Weapon, The character is kinda lame though. And the Hotline Miami Pack, That DLC was the Best in my opinion. The DLC in this game is Perfect! I Love it! Final Verdict Payday 2 Is an Awesome game, and is best to be played with friends, it also required great teamwork skills and coordination. Should you get Payday 2? YES! It is Totally worth your Money and is very very fun! The Game was on sale a few days ago for 5$ Unfortunately I didn't get this review out. ![]() Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory is a stealth, action-adventure video game developed by Ubisoft. The game focuses as the Third Echelon Splinter Cell field agent Sam Fisher as he races to prevent the next World War between the Chinese, North Korea, South Korea, and Japan as tensions run high. Like it's predecessors, the game has heavy influences of stealth but with some added new capabilities and features that helped make this universally beloved by critics and fans alike. It's hard to believe that there was a time where both critics and fans alike could actually get along. This was a game that was worth of such attention. Synopsis Once more, you take control of Sam Fisher as mentioned above, him and Third Echelon are caught in between the rising tensions of the aforementioned factions. It is up to Sam and Third Echelon to find out the real threat causing tensions between those factions and put a stop to it before the tensions and outside interference cause another World War III. Filled with betrayal, double-crosses, and all that you expect in a espionage game. Game play ![]() Chaos Theory takes the player in a stealth-like game setting, typical of the previous games and within it's genres. But before even starting the game, you get to The actual game is played in third-person and you move around and sneak your way though the levels completing whatever objective that comes up along with some bonus, optional ones. As you play, you have several gadgets to use depending on the level and the kit you've chose. In addition, probably the most important mechanic is the visibility bar and the ambient noise bar in which lets you know how much sound is making and how much the environment is (the bars above the "SC Pistol"). Features like this makes this game superb in stealth action. Although the light bar has been present in every game, the noise bar is a new feature and the capability of the background muffling some of the noise Fisher makes is rather particular and makes for interesting game play. Ubisoft definitely were definitely going in the right direction when making these mechanics. Other mechanics include the AI being more advanced, now with patrolling guards capable of finding previous bodies should they not be properly hidden. In previous games, leaving an area with a enemy in well-lit areas caused alarms to off since the game scanned for it. In Chaos Theory, enemies will patrol the level/area and If they stumble upon them at any point, it will cause an alarms. Surprisingly enough , alarms triggering don't end the mission but make it much more harder. ![]() Another major change within the game is the close quarters combat system, capable of making you choose between lethal and non-lethal approaches as well as adding a combat knife he can use to interrogate even normal guards to get information on the level itself for the player as well as making for some interesting dialogue. All in all, the game takes previous game play mechanics and idea from the past and improve on it exponentially. It is a good example of how to make a sequel to a game. Modes ![]() ![]() This game's features include 10 single player missions that range from 30 minutes to hours depending on how you play and skill level. In addition comes multiplayer's campaign, adding 7 more missions with unique mission catered for the use of teamwork to complete. Returning from the previous Pandora Tomorrow is Spies vs Mercenaries in it's Vs. Mode. Here, you can (However, I should note that unless you're playing on system link in co-op campaign, the likelihood of playing Spies vs Mercenaries is extremely slim) Pros
Cons
Should you play it? Absolutely. Fans of the previous Splinter Cell games, fans of challenging games, and fans of the espionage genre are highly encouraged to play this game. The story is superb, the game play is an genuine improvement, the multiplayer co-op is fun with a friend, and the game mode "Spy vs Mercenaries", should you be capable of playing it, seems enjoyable and has been popular within the community and fans previously capable of playing it.
